“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!”

“I've been plant-based for over 10 years... this Deli proved to be TOP TIER in my experience. The owner gave his wife all the credit for the recipes too, so you know the vibes are right. This further affirmed the intentionality of flavor, ingredient use, and pairings. I literally order a new sandwich of theirs every weekend, and I'm continuously fulfilled, not to mention I feel like I still have tons to taste test. Their menu is ample. When I finally made it to the shop to see where the magic happened, I was further enamored with the deli offerings. Literally all of it: the array of protein offerings, the Rebel Cheese they sell, the ingredient knowledge demonstrated by the staff... I happily overspent. This place is food science taken to the next level of flavor. Queso dip is a must-try, and the Gouda-Steak sandwich is a star. That being said, I've never not loved a menu item here. Grateful for their mission and vision, and flavor achievement!”

“Incredible dishes! We started with biscuits which were warm flaky and heavenly with perfect butter. Celery was refreshing and crunchy - highly recommend as a contrast to biscuits.

We also got calamari which were perfectly crispy, I was not the biggest fan of the sauce, but my husband liked it. For main course both the rosemary chicken and the steak were amazing!

In terms of seating we got the table on the patio which had great atmosphere except for trains passing by. I think next time I would book indoor table, but we 100% want to come as all the food was incredible.”

“Soooo good! This was my first time trying Blossom Market Hall, recommended by a friend, and i absolutely loved my experience here! My sister and I had Rolland sushi, it was the perfect meal! Delicious with the sweetest staff. We also had a great experience with the lovely woman at the bar, she made our night too! Bar prices are GREAT!

“Hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the SGV. My favorite dishes are the cat ear shaped noodle soup and pork meatballs, as well as the wife’s special noodles, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly recommend for anybody in the surrounding area to try”

“Owner has great hospitality! We did have to wait for a bit since we went on a Sunday, but line moved at a reasonable pace and was organized. Food was warm though the xiu mai skin was thicker than we wanted. Highly recommend fried shrimp dumplings and steamed BBQ pork bun :) would consider go again!”

“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!”

We had the ceviche Classico & lomo saltado - I’m not even joking that my boyfriend and I had to hug after the meal because it was SO delicious and enjoyable. The flavors were bright and unique. “cute tucked away place. Have picked up and ordered to sit down! It's outdoor seating only. It's a hidden place. Parking may or may not be hard. But I just walk a half block. I like it. People working there are nice for Pick up, Too Good to Go and also to eat there as a regular customer!”

“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”

“When you want the best Crispy Chicken you've ever eaten, Top Restaurant is your answer. They have an extensive Asian menu with authentic home recipes. All items are made fresh, as you order. To work here, you must be a family member. They guard their recipes and preparation techniques carefully. They take personal pride in every meal that they create.\n\nThese are a few of the meals that I like to order… mixed BBQ chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, spam rice, fried rice, spring rolls, gyoza pork, beef and chicken. The hamburger and the cheeseburger are exceptional here.  The menu is so varied that I think I could eat here everyday for 6 months without repeating a dish! \n\nLocated just east of Allen Avenue, in a small shopping area. The parking lot is always available. I am usually able to park right in front of the restaurant. I like to call ahead and order. They are extremely busy some days and times. \n\nI enjoy supporting this great family enterprise!”
