“Ordered the off-menu Pomodoro pasta and it did not disappoint. The tomato and petit basil sauce was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The wax beans were a standout - snappy and bright with serrano chile, toasted hazelnuts, and a tangy Frenchie vinaigrette. The garden lettuces were crisp and well dressed with radish vinaigrette, fresh dill, walnuts, and shallots. Good vibe, happy staff, great mix of flavors. The orange wine pairing tied it all together. “Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.”

“We came here for lunch on a Sunday and waited for 45 mins before being seated. There were only two women working the front dining room and since service was slow, table turnovers were slow too. So expect a wait but the food was very good.

We like that they have pictures on their menus. We ordered the dan dan noodles, the chong qing noodles (my favorite), the pork chop noodle, youpo noodle, and xiao long bao. All were good and portions were large.

I do like the spicy mala flavors and that's in quite a lot of their dishes. Mild still has a kick to it, fyi.

The parking lot is too small for the restaurants in shopping area as is common in a lot of Asian areas. But there are plenty of free street parking around.”

“This is a destination restaurant, right in the heart of South Pasadena. The food is amazing, it's beautiful inside and outside (they have outdoor seating in the back as well), and the staff is nice.

“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!”

“Best lo mai gai I’ve had in San Gabriel!

The owner (?) was so kind and allowed us to come in just as it was about to close. Dishes were ready with zero wait time and we were not rushed at all. The tea was fragrant and strong, and the sticky rice was DELICIOUS! Ordered congee but were so full we couldn’t finish it, reheated it for dinner and was still great! Also a huge fan of the garlic spare ribs. Overall, I highly recommend this place and believe this business deserves to be supported and thriving based on the service and food.”

“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”

“this definitely deserves the michelin recommendation. every piece of meat was so tender and every dish was just so flavorful. i really liked the braised beef noodles. it had a cilantro taste and the bok choy was so soft. my family really liked the texture of all of the noodles - especially the fried ones. the scallion pancakes were very good and the food came very quickly. the staff are very nice and the water hits hard 😁. definitely come here”

“Soooo good! This was my first time trying Blossom Market Hall, recommended by a friend, and i absolutely loved my experience here! My sister and I had Rolland sushi, it was the perfect meal! Delicious with the sweetest staff. We also had a great experience with the lovely woman at the bar, she made our night too! Bar prices are GREAT!

“I had a really nice time at Little Beast Restaurant. The place has a cozy and relaxed vibe, perfect for just sitting back and enjoying good food. Everything we ordered came out fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they care about quality. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable the whole time, which I really appreciated.
