“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).

Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.

The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).

While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

“I really like this Bonchon location. There’s usually not much of a wait, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ordering is easy, and the space is both kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible, which I appreciate.

A few of my go-to favorites here are the Spicy Chicken (definitely the best in my opinion), Yangnyeom, Soy Garlic, and their Japchae. The chicken is always tender on the inside with that signature crispy exterior. As for the Japchae, it’s packed with ingredients and full of flavor—definitely worth trying.

The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. “The caterer for my daughter's wedding canceled a week before the wedding. Latin-Asian-Fusion Kitchen came through with exactly what was needed. The help was sincere and the food was great. “My go-to lunch/dinner spot in downtown Palo Alto! Yes, it’s gotten a lot pricier- $18 for a sushi burrito... Yes, I’m still willing to pay that price for this delicious roll. I get the salmon samba every time and it never disappoints. Sometimes sushi doesn’t feel filling enough for a meal but this certainly does the trick for me. What a great flavor and texture combo! I feel good after eating it too like my body recognizes it is a nourishing meal. There’s always open seating options whenever I drop by. I’ve eaten in before but I usually get take-out. Have recommended to friends and will keep coming back.

The staff is wonderful, very accommodating & Chef Brads presentation & deliciousness of his fabulous meals is always 5 stars! “We go to this place routinely. It’s a nice restaurant, plenty of parking ( may need to walk a half a block ), food is good, authentic taste ( which comes with its own oily / greasy preparations)

The service if quick and on the weekdays. Recently we went on a Friday and Saturday for dinner and omg! It’s the same level of staffing on the weekend as the weekday .. service was excruciatingly slow. The staff was running around on steroids since they couldn’t keep up. Normally we are in and out within one hour .. weekends it took us 90 minutes to get done with the food and another 45 minutes to get the dessert.

There was a group of 4 ladies on the next table celebrating a birthday. They probably were waiting to get their food for as long as we were .. the manager came and asked them to leave since he needed the table for the next party who was waiting.

To the management - increase your staffing levels including the kitchen. For a regular meal with the family, 2.5 hours is a very long time.

We are not going back on the weekends.“

They have a LARGE selection of ingredients to choose from for your hot pot as well as fruit, cake and freshly made ice cream for dessert. Drinks are included in the buffet price.

Staff are very friendly and helpful and explain things well. This was important for us as we had never been to a hot pot place before so we had no idea what to do😂.

They are open 7 days a week with lunch and dinner buffet. Call for hours and prices. We had lunch on a monday and before tip for 2 of us it was $44.95.

It really might be what I ordered but for 30 dollars with the substitutions the Gardena soufflé is really underwhelming. “Stopped by The Mandarin Chinese while hoping for some great Chinese food in town. The location was convenient, and the space itself is quite nice, with the added bonus of upstairs seating. Service was smooth; we came on a Friday evening, got seated right away, and dishes arrived in a steady flow.

Unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed. The sizzling rice soup was disappointing; it came out lukewarm and didn’t sizzle at all, with a watered-down broth. Definitely underwhelming.

That said, the rest of the meal was much better. We ordered Spicy Beef Tendon, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Garlic Snow Pea Leaves, Eggplant in Spicy Sauce, and Kung Pao Chicken. Every dish was flavorful, and the Szechuan-style seasoning really stood out. The beef tendon dish, in particular, looked and tasted great.

Overall, while not everything hit the mark (and prices felt a bit high), the main dishes were strong enough to make it a solid option for Szechuan cravings; just maybe skip the soup.“

“I spent a few weeks in Xinjiang a million years ago and ate laghman -- the Uyghur's national dish -- two or three times a day. Loved it loved it loved it. Hadn't had any in over 25 years, then recently moved to the area and saw that downtown Menlo Park had a Uyghur place. Woo hoo!

The noodles and sauce are perfect. (The meat is surprisingly low-quality so I ask for it without the meat and just get some flank steak slicked up for stir-fry at Whole Foods and cook that up at home to add.) The portion is generous and the dish keeps well in the fridge for a few days.“
