“Wow! What an experience! This is a truly special bar.

I walked in as someone who didn’t like red wine, and left as a true convert after being guided to exceptional wines, by the extremely knowledgeable owner Manny. Every wine Manny suggested absolutely hit the mark, with my two favourites being a red 2021 Koncha & Co sweet Saperavi from Georgia, and a white Koncha & Co Kisi.

The atmosphere is really cosy and welcoming. Hours will disappear here as it’s so relaxing.

Highly recommend and will be back next weekend!

I do want to point out that I saw an additional “Operations Fee” surcharge of 5% levied on my bill. I personally think this is poor taste and reflects badly on the Management who should be able to run a profitable business with any and all “operational cost” built into their financial models.
You might as well have labeled this “charitable contribution “ or “donation”, or just raise your prices by 5%.“

“From the moment we walked in, we got great service. Granted we got there early, but even as the restaurant filled up they were attentive and did not hurry us. We ordered the bruschetta as our appetizer and it was delicious. The bread was just the right crispness and the tomatoes were fresh. The penne calabrese had just the right amount of spice the servings size was right too. I highly recommend Vaso Azzuro.“

“Our first time at Broma and it was great! James, our server, is a real pro: knowledgeable and unobtrusive. The menu is very multicultural. I had the chicken liver mousse - delicious! Then the very yummy chicken sandwich. My husband had the tasty crab dip and then the lamb ragout with pappadelle! Outstanding. We had no room for dessert. It's a perfect place before a concert at Shoreline. We will return.“

“Cozy spot, but be mindful of the noise!

It’s a small and cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was raining, my friend and I chose to sit indoors. Initially, it was perfect — quiet and relaxing. A couple of tables were occupied by two people, and everything seemed peaceful.

Then four guys walked in, and it completely changed the atmosphere. It got incredibly loud to the point where I couldn’t even hear myself talk. I had to raise my voice so my friend could hear me, which definitely ruined the cozy vibe we were hoping for.

Tip: If you choose to sit inside, make sure the space isn’t filled with loud groups.

Other than that, the food was good, the wine was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and polite. Worth a visit, just be mindful of the noise level! 🍷“

“Sat at the bar, by choice. Good selection of fine spirits, especially Japanese whiskey and tequila. Cocktails were very well made and balanced. We also asked for a mocktail modified to be “less sweet” than normal and it came out perfect. Food was great, not outstanding, but I would absolutely eat here again. The truffle fries were a miss for us since the white sauce makes them soggy. Burger and NY steak were exactly as advertised, possibly sous vide on the medium rare steak. The tempura mushrooms stood out to us as one of the best small dishes we ate. The Spanish Octopus was an unusually large tentacle, made me wonder how tender it would be. I prefer to have octopus more on the grilled side and that seemed to be lacking here but the favor was decent. The oysters were delicious!“

The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. “I had dinner with my husband this evening. The food and service were excellent. Both of us agreed that this was one of the best Mediterranean food we had thus far. Everything from the hummus, pomegranate salad, chicken curry and the lamb kebab to the rice and vegetables were flavorful and so well seasoned. I’m not usually a Pinot Noir or Zinfandel fan, but I really enjoyed theirs + the Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent. We paired our tasting with the Charcuterie and Cheese kit, which was delicious. “Indian Sizzler has one of the best buffets I’ve been to. The spread is elaborate and delicious, with a great mix of Indian, Sri Lankan, and Indo-Chinese dishes. The dessert section is fantastic, and I loved that they serve fresh naan and dosa directly to the table. The restaurant is very clean, and the ambience makes for a really pleasant dining experience. The steeping hourglass was a fun and thoughtful touch. However, despite being advertised as a holiday afternoon tea, there was no real seasonal atmosphere — no décor or themed treats. The experience is held in the lobby, which didn't feel particularly festive or intimate. The food itself felt like it had been sitting out for a while, and the table for two was very small, making it tricky to enjoy the tea service comfortably.
