“I like the quality of their ramen. The portion, the thickness of the char siew and the onsen egg, delicious! If i can suggest one thing, it will the hotness of the soup. They have to serve it piping hot and it will be bring heaven to earth. We ate there today and the soup is just warm.. so maybe next time i visit here i hope they will make it more hot. Thanks!“

“Tried the new Mala Town in Milpitas. The place is big and clean, which is always a plus. The malatang was solid — I really liked the dry one with peanut sauce. Ingredients were fresh, and the staff were super nice. Overall, a pretty good spot. I’d come back.“

“Went here for the first time with my sister who has been here several times before and Omg! Everything was incredible 🤤 we got there pretty late so the kitchen had run out of a few things but everything that we tried was so good! Very hot and fresh, we ordered several appetizers to share and I loved everything. Then the entrees came out and they were all beautifully presented, and so flavorful! This place really is a gem and I will definitely be stopping by when I’m in the area again.“

“Good ramen, hella busy, backed up urinal which was mildly unpleasant but the food was super good. Kudos to the person with the aux cord for playing anime openings. It was hard eating noodles while head banging to Sorairo Days - this guy knows ball“

“Ramen Arashi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. The food, of course, was phenomenal—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that hit every note. But what truly set this place apart was the service.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, all with a warm smile that felt so genuine. She even spoke Japanese to me! The chef, too, came out to check on our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to encounter people this kind and passionate about what they do.
If you’re looking for amazing ramen and an experience that leaves you feeling cared for, Ramen Arashi is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Got the edamame and standard Tonkotsu. Delicious - warm, thick broth. Lots of umami and salt but if you think it's too much get a side like edamame to balance it out. Great staff, international, professional, friendly.
For atmosphere, I mean it's a small space you're not going to be completely immersed, but they nailed it with what they have. Music also not too loud and more skewed toward bass than high pitch, so it doesn't make conversation difficult. Overall great experience - especially for a well priced, small place!“

Clean and green

Not much customer service. Also hard to get their attention when trying to check in.
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Loving the greenery and nature vibes
Food: 4.5/5
There was a huge diversity of options. Saw there was a Mochi fish tofu then ? it was very interesting. Got pretty much everything I wanted. There was even a sauce bar. Only complaint is that the soup base was slightly salty
Wow: 0.5/1
Wowed but the ingredient options.
Total Score = BR + CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW“

“Food was delicious, Vy, my server was AMAZING. Will definitely be back, soon.
I had the black garlic pork Ramen, extra spicy. It burned so GOOD, had to take half to go. Every ingredient was fresh, flavorful, and filled with that homemade love that takes a meal to a special place.
The spice didn't overpower the strong flavors of garlic and soy that made every bite just pop with delight.
Vy really made the experience, though. She was on top of everything, with a warm smile and kind word. Gave me some good recommendations, as well as a tip for what I should try next time after I told her how much I enjoyed what I had ordered. Her quick resting and warm welcome got me into the building, and made me not want to leave.
Make sure you keep her as a server because she is definitely a benefit to a fantastic place. Thank you, guys, for the good time! 😁“

“Listen up, here's the move if you're coming here for ramen: get the chicken paitan ramen and skip the tonkotsu deluxe. No idea why, but while the broth for the tonkotsu was fine, it didn't transfer to the noodles at all so the total effect was it lacking flavor. My partner had the chicken paitan and I ended up wishing I'd gotten that instead.“

“The Tonkotsu broth and original thick noodles were great and the free garlic/chilli was divine (got 2 servings of the chilli) chashu belly was melt in your mouth delicious but portion wise was a bit lacking.
The main pain point was the wait honestly. I think I waited about an hour due to a nearby convention and being a walk-in customer. Definitely try to get a reservation if you want to try their ramen.
The MAIN thing I liked was how they included a 15% service feeand tell you about it upfront and don't ask for additional gratuity! What a huge surprise considering the other places I've been to.
Side note: place is cashless.“

“My second time here. The ramens are a work of art. I have something called as a japan hangover and so I get beyond thrilled when I find genuinely good ramen or for that matter japanese food outside of japan in general. I have tried both curry ramen and butter miso ramen with various permutations and combinations and both times I was highly satisfied and glad I could eat here. Also try the sushi place right next to it.“

“This is the best sushi restaurant in Palo Alto! We have been to a few of them on California Avenue, and the quality of the food and its affordability at Kanji is certainly the best among them all. We ordered the 15 pieces sashimi platter and the cut of the fish was so thick and satisfying. The sweet shrimps were also very worth it, it was so fresh and they even fry the heads for you. Will come back next time to try their breakfast!“

“Little mom and pop shop. Serves up some awesome Black Garlic Ramen and Tempura.
Tempura with light batter, crispy and crunchy. Just perfect.
Grilled whole squid was a little over cooked and tougher than my preference.
Ramen noodles was al dente, tonkatsu broth was flavorful and not overly salty like most places.
Servers was surprisingly nice, especially in a crowd Asian joint.
Complimentary tint portion of Edamame and Sorbet was refreshing.“

“I liked everything, the food is tasty, maybe a little spicy. Cooking time is 10-15 minutes. Good sashimi. I also liked the chicken ramen and the seafood ramen. The tables are small and the water in iron glasses, but overall I can recommend it. There may not be enough food for the children.$100 - family 4x with tips.“

“As a ramen expert, I can tell you this place is very authentic. Only exception is the red ginger, which is American. This place is what I expect for Ramen, the majority elsewhere, you're paying for industrial noodles. I was skeptical at first because this area has a lot of fakes, but it's legit.
The best part of this restaurant is the noodles. They're definitely made fresh, hand crafted, and inhouse. You're getting your money's worth. Unlike the lower end places that charge premium.
The Ginjo soup is super thick and rich. It's essentially straight up a bowl of tsukemen, not necessarily the traditional tori paitan, but ultimately it's good.
I highly recommend this ramen, in that area, it's definitely the best within 10 miles radius, nothing is better.“

“An surprisingly great underrated Ramen spot. A short walk from my parent’s was this tiny no frills Ramen and Tea restaurant. Dude was playing smooth Jazz. Cool artwork on the walls, plus the low key mess from working made it amazing. I felt like was some unassuming Tokyo suburb that simply serves great food.“

“This unassuming restaurant is located in a strip mall across a local community college. The ramen was absolutely delicious, and is by far, one of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever eaten! I really appreciate that every component of the soup was perfectly cooked: the texture and flavor of the egg and pork slice, the noodles, the incredibly fragrant black garlic oil and miso broth, and perfectly marinated bamboo slices.
The interior was clean, and nicely decorated. There’s soft jazz music playing in the background which helps set the tone for a relaxing atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient.“

“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.“
“This place is amazing! Mike, Rosario and Isabel really made the trip I had worth while and then some! I was there to celebrate my sisters Bday and I madd a mistake with my booking. I call the staff there a few different occasions and they really took time to take care of me and accommodate! If you are looking for a place not far from the stadium, choose this place as your temporary destination! They do it right!
Rooms: The room was really nice and spacious. And the bed felt great! 10 out of 10“

“This Japanese tsukemen restaurant is really impressive. Whether it is the food, environment or service, it is full of sincerity. It is highly recommended!
First of all, their tsukemen are so delicious. The noodles are chewy and chewy, cooked just right, neither too soft nor too hard, and can absorb the rich dipping sauce perfectly. The soup has rich flavors, with a strong flavor of fish meat and tonkotsu. It is thick but not overly greasy, and every bite is full of concentrated delicious flavor. The accompanying barbecued pork meat is soft and tender, the fat is evenly distributed, and melts in your mouth, making the whole bowl of tsukemen even more delicious. In addition, the store also provides extra stock, which can be added with dipping sauce to turn into soup after eating the noodles. Such details make people feel the charm of authentic Japanese tsukemen.
The atmosphere inside the store is also quite great, the decoration is simple and full of Japanese style, and the lighting is warm and soft, creating a comfortable dining environment. The seats are well spaced so you won't feel crowded, and the background music is soft Japanese melodies, allowing you to relax and enjoy your food.
The most commendable thing is the attentive service of the clerk. From entering to ordering and serving, every detail is attentive. The clerk is kind and polite, and will also explain how to eat the meal, making people feel enthusiastic and professional. Overall, this restaurant not only has delicious tsukemen, but the overall dining experience is also very enjoyable. It is definitely worth a try and will make you want to come back again and again!“

“I had an incredible dining experience at Tadamasa! The ramen was absolutely amazing — the broth was rich and full of depth, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Every bite was comforting and packed with flavor.
The appetizers were equally impressive. The fried calamari was crispy and tender, with just the right amount of seasoning, and the edamame was perfectly seasoned, making for a delightful start to the meal. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The owners were so welcoming and kind, making us feel like we were part of their family. It’s clear they put a lot of love and care into their restaurant, and it really shows in the food and service. If you’re craving delicious ramen and fantastic appetizers with warm, welcoming service, Tadamasa is the place to go. “Hidden ramen gem in South Bay! Better than the ramen places on Castro street in Mountain View. My friend and I both ordered the Miso Ramen (~$18.50 each before tax) which were large portions that came with very tasty and tender large slices of pork. The broth and noodles were also flavorful without being too salty.
Service was fast.
Good amount of indoor seating, casual ambience.“

“I always have to doctor my Ramen to taste the way that I want it, but this came exactly the way that I love my Ramen! The broth was delicious, the noodles were perfectly done, and the spice was existent but not overwhelming. As a big back, i approve“
