“On Friday, June 5, after being in the busy San Francisco Bay area for 2 weeks, it was a relief to leave the traffic behind and head east. Always liking to take the road-less-travelled, we exited I-80 at Norden and drove US Hwy 40 over the historic Donner Pass. Along the way, we came across the Old 40 Bar & Grill at the Donner Ski Ranch. It turned out to be a fun place, with a funky atmosphere and a fairly mediocre pizza.“

She was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you, Azure, for such wonderful service!“

I mean it's more of an addiction for you 😂🫶🏻 but I support it.“

“We will absolutely come back here but the Australian prawn special was challenging for my wife. We didn't expect it to be presented like a creole dish (i.e. heads and tails attached) similar to something you might see with crawfish in NOLA. Pasta was nice and light and the service was excellent.“

“We picked Six Peaks Grille for our anniversary dinner and had an incredible experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make our evening special. The food was outstanding and came out quickly, and sitting on the patio made for a perfect setting. We had a lovely sunset, a nearby firepit, and an adjacent waterfall feature that provided peaceful ambient sound. For food, we especially enjoyed the Filet and Wagyu Tri-Tip. Each was some of the best we've ever had - tender, flavorful, and charred to perfection. The sides were also great and the desserts are worth making room for (we tried both the house made Tiramisu and Sorbet)! Thank you John, Cindy, and team - we will definitely be back!“
