“I had been craving barbecue for weeks. I had to go to Roseville for an errand , while driving around hungry I saw a dickies and decided to pull in. I meet the nicest people I had the best brisket sandwich I’ve had in years and the freshest crunchiest coleslaw. I walked out there one happy camper. Can’t wait to return.“

And our waitress - whose name I unfortunately did not catch - was thoughtful, friendly, and hospitable; which is rare these days. Food is good with the usual meats, vegetables, sauces and spices. My family, who live near to this, go regularly.
I always enjoy getting my ‘fix’ when I come into town to visit.

““Doma,” a small Korean-owned restaurant on Folsom blvd, is a hidden gem for those living in Sacramento. They haven’t been open for long but the energy and atmosphere of the restaurant is vibrant and young. The menu has a variety of options and I am happy to say that there is no wrong option. I ordered the cold noodles and it tasted so good, I had to get it twice. Overall, I would definitely come here again next time I visit Sacramento.“

“I had a take out order of the BBQ for two.The meat portions were great, the meat was delicious, tender and a great smoky flavor, the sauce was good too.The greens were kale, not collard greens, and were extremely bitter, very over powering taste of vinegar,not actual spices to compliment the greens.The corn bread was dry and had no flavor.The mac and cheese was horrible. over-all the meat made the meal.A+ f9r the meat F for the side dishes.Please upgrade those dishes asap.“

We went through the drive thru and ordered the fish & chips. As soon as the bag got into the car I could smell the aroma of absolute EXCELLENCE. Idk who’s auntie they got in the kitchen but they reaaaallly know what they’re doing. The seasonings on the fish were phenomenal. The seasoning on the fries was finger licking GOOD. The food was very flavorful and cooked fresh. Definitely will be back again!“

“Didn't eat there and only went to play some Golden Tee. They are one of the few places that has the new Golden Tee PGA Live edition and it was well maintained. It's right next to the bar so getting drinks not a problem but they did check on us at the right times. I'll be back for sure.
It was a Sunday and they ended up closing early since there was pretty much no one in there and we were getting ready to leave anyway. So although the atmosphere was dead that wasn't a bad thing since we were playing the game and less people talking or bumping into you is a good thing. The machine is position in a good place and you only need to worry about a bar back running into you but not really since there is a spot for him to go around. all in all it was a great experience but thats why i gave 3 stars on Atmosphere and we did not eat so didn't grade food as of yet.“

“Stopped by here after climbing in Tahoe. Really hit the spot with the galbitang as it wasn't too heavy and it consisted of a savory yet delicate soup. They had a variety of banchan (side dishes) as well that really complemented the main dishes. Some of the main dishes and beers were a bit pricey as I've seen it available for 2/3 the price. But since I didn't order those, 5 stars for me with wonderful service.“

“By far the best KBBQ I've been to. This is my comparison to several in Sac like OZ, and in San Francisco. It is pricey but if you can eat, it's well worth it. Sides are the best here but careful not to eat too much of it haha. The Meat were of the best quality compared to the other places.“

“I've been to many kbbqs both around Sacramento and in K-town LA. This is by far the best kbbq place in Sacramento.
It has a very high level of traditional flavors and care for the ingredients. It's not your typical kbbq place that has strong flavors and marinades. JJs marinades accentuates the high quality meats they provide. Yes some of the unmarinated meats comes out frozen but that is how you cut meat consistently thin. Despite it being frozen you can tell they use quality meats because the brisket incredibly beefy and melts in your mouth. The thin pork belly incredible clean pork flavor. The marinated meats all came out fresh and unfrozen unlike most places in town. Their sides and cold noodles were fresh and the broth was clean and balanced between tangy, sweet and salty. Probably the best I've had so far.
Service was absolutely fine for us but it's definitely a no frill place.

Some may think it's pricey but when I consider that for the price I would pay for a basic Rib Eye dinner elsewhere, I can have as much Rib Eye, as well as a variety of other meats, chicken, shrimp, sides as I can possibly eat, it's very reasonable. Most of our group were 1st timers, so the cultural experience of new foods, cooking at your table the way you like, made for a unique experience. Our group of 20 something yr old punk rockers had a lot of fun, the service and food were excellent. We'll be back...ps. call ahead to gauge the crowd and bring an appetite.“

“Best Mongolian BBQ in the region. I eat here weekly. Amazing egg flower soup and veggie egg rolls come with your meal. Gets really busy at lunch rush so try to get there early or late (check hours).“

I usually order teriyaki chicken or beef with extra macaroni salad. The macaroni salad is delicious. When I’m feeling something extra, I get musubi also. The beef and chicken are killer and the spam is really good as well depending on your preference.

The family deal is awesome also. Sometimes I order that for myself and eat it for a couple days when I’m too busy to cook.“
