50 Best Donuts near North Highlands

“I have always LOVED Marie's donuts. The donuts are much smaller now (they look like Krispy cream size) Everything is very old inside, but most take their donuts and leave. Staff is OK. Sometimes they look they had a hard night. Sometimes nobody is at the counter when you walk in. My donut was a bit dry, which was unusual. The taste is still good. It's still the only donuts place I like. You won't find cereal or pretzels on your donuts, here. Just good tasting regular/old fashioned donuts and several flavors.“

“Delicious donuts & smoothies“

“Yum, thank you,loved them“

“The best donuts!! Always fresh, soft & fluffy. love their maple & chocolate bars. Also great customer service. 👌“

“Just ordered a delivery from here and OH MY GOSH DELICIOUS! I got two chocolate bars, dozen doughnut holes, cinnamon roll and two beverages for me and my friend. The coffees were so warm and tasty! The doughnuts were SO FRESH, best doughnut I’ve had in ages! I’m definitely going back! :)“

“The fruit rolls are fantastic (especially the lemon), the apple fritter is so moist and delicious and the Thai iced tea (my first ever!) is going to be my new addiction!“

“By far the best doughnut shop around. Family owned and operated by amazingly kind people. They offer a plethora of very well-priced doughnuts, cronuts, danishes, fritters, croissants etc., as well as the most amazing croissant sandwiches ever. My absolute favorite is the turkey cheese and jalapeño sandwich. Various coffees, teas, milks, and juices are also available. An absolute must try for anyone in the Sacramento area and beyond.“

“Dragonfly Donuts in Sacramento, CA, is truly a gem, and let me tell you why! First and foremost, Abby and Leo, the dynamic duo managing this delightful establishment, are nothing short of amazing. Their warmth and passion for what they do shine through in every aspect of the experience. Now, let's talk about the breakfast egg and cheese sandwich on the everything bagel—a culinary masterpiece! The flavors danced on my taste buds, and what's even better is that it felt like a guilt-free indulgence. The everything bagel itself was a work of art—tasty, fresh, and the perfect canvas for a satisfying breakfast. But wait, there's more! The iced coffee deserves its own round of applause. It was not just fresh; it was a symphony of flavors that complemented the meal perfectly. Refreshing and delicious, it's a must-try for any coffee enthusiast. And let's not forget the star of the show—the donuts! The selection at Dragonfly Donuts is a dream come true. Each bite is a journey into sweet bliss, and I already have my eye on a few for my next visit. In conclusion, Dragonfly Donuts has won me over with its delectable offerings, charming atmosphere, and the incredible duo, Abby and Leo, at the helm. This is not just a donut shop; it's an experience worth savoring. I can't wait to be back for more!“

“Great little local spot prices are fairly typical and I definitely went later morning as the donuts were colder, but they tasted fantastic service was great. They always throw in a few donut holes whenever my wife or I have gone and thats a nice touch. I think anyone looking for a local donut shop couldn't go wrong they do the pastries right I can't speak on anything else they do.“

“I have been going to Allen's donuts since I was 8 years old. I am now 38. The donuts are always great and the staff is always friendly. Wide variety of donuts to choose from. The small circles with chocolate and chocolate chips was always my favorite as well as the maple bars. Best donuts in town“

“Amazing people! This place is full of amazing hospitality and customer service. The donuts are also so fresh and fulfilling. These people that work here made me feel so welcomed and I recommend this place, to everyone. Kindness is all it takes, and everyone was so kind.“

“Very awesome customer service! I love the mom and pop feel of the shop. Fresh croughnuts and doughnuts very delicious! I will be going back again.“

“I’ve gone a few times over the last handful of years and it was pretty good to great every time. I’ve had their old fashioned maple donut, glaze donut with sprinkles, cinnamon roll, apple fritter, old fashioned glaze, and buttermilk bar and they were all good. They’re sized and priced well. I’d highly recommend them.“

“I LOVED the donuts, but definitely do not get the smoothie/slushie here. I swear there is gelatin in there because it was so thick and did not melt at all. It maintained its shape on a hot day, unlike any other smoothie texture I have ever had. Donuts were fluffy and fresh. I loved the custard and raspberry filled ones.“

“I love their food and service.“

“Just had the best donuts in town at Manley’s Donut Shop! Everything is freshly made with no old grease or oily aftertaste—just soft, flavorful perfection. They’ve got an awesome variety, and I wanted to try them all! Shoutout to Gia for the warm, friendly service—she made the visit even sweeter. And the best part? Great prices for top-quality donuts. Highly recommend if you’re craving something delicious and fresh! #BestDonuts #FreshlyMade #ManleysDonuts #SupportLocal #DonutLovers“

“My family's totally obsessed with your donuts – they're so light and fluffy, and the fresh taste is amazing! We especially love the glazed ones, and those with chocolate on top are ridiculously delicious (in the best possible way!). My husband and I practically do a happy dance whenever we find a double-glazed donut With chocolate on top in the box!
We were wondering if you double-dip all your flavors? It's so yummy!
We'd love to order a dozen donuts – maybe a mix of glazed, maple, strawberry, chocolate, and some with sprinkles or fun designs? We're happy to pay extra for the extra time and ingredients it takes to make them so special. They're seriously brilliant!
Thanks so much!
💛“

“Love having Donut Fair in my area. The donuts are fresh, they offer a great variety of donut/drinks and are super friendly. My favorites are the custard and chocolate cake. I stop by at least once a week because the donuts are that irresistible. So yummy!“

“Hands down, the best donuts in town!

Every option is yummy, but I'm OBSESSED with the blueberry donut. It's rich, fluffy, moist, a little crispy... just, perfection. I ate it too fast I forgot to take a pic...I had to battle my coworkers for the last one and I'm already craving another lol. I will definitely be back for more and to try their new flavors.“

“The best donut 🍩 in town Special Asian Cambodian Coffee Seller are very friendly Hygiene and very good service“

“Absolutely wonderful! A variety of very unique and fancy donuts. I got the blueberry lavender donut and the carrot walnut donut hole, both were delicious and fluffy, not dry and cakey like most gluten free pastries. The ice cream is super thick and creamy. I'm so excited to come back and try everything!“

“I love this place. Very friendly staff. I get good vibes as soon as I walk I. The door and the donuts or amazing“

“It is always a great time at Jacks! They are super friendly and helpful. Patient when my wife and I are indecisive, and always have something to recommend when we are looking for something new. I have been frequenting this place for many years and wish I had known about it sooner. The quality is always top notch. I recommend trying the frosted jelly filled doughnut holes, they are my favorite guilty pleasure 😀“

“Mochi Cafe is ALWAYS a great experience. They are always kind and helpful and it's always an amazing time when I go there. Every time they forget my sauce or anything they are so nice and honest. They never make a fuss about anything. They have amazing, delicious food. I enjoy every experience I make there. The atmosphere is very clean and happy. I love Mochi Cafe. :)“

“Ordinary donut shop. In the best way.

Donuts: “Most” are really good
Service: Quick. No wait

Recommend: DOUGHNUT TWIST
Ask them what flavors they have and pick your favorite. I normally don’t care for these but eating all flavors, my mind has changed

Parking: Can be tricky. Might have to wait for someone to clear out“

“I was surprised by the wonderful array of donut options. my children said they were all delicious!“

“I'm from the depths of they are some of the best.Donuts I have ever had my neighborhood favorite. But I would drive out of my way.The owners are wonderful. I hesitate telling everyone how wonderful they are.Because the lines are already pretty good sized.Everyone knows how great they are“

“Good morning I just patronized this and it was unacceptable 😡 they had very few donuts and a lot of excuses which as a customer that has been going to this donut shop for years is irritating at best. It wasn’t like this before the owners retired and left the business to their kids and grandkids. This used to be the best donut shop in north Sacramento. The donuts taste day old. I went a time before a few weeks ago and I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the eggs tasted mushy and uncooked. The owners should have shut the business down when they retired because with their kids and grandkids running the business they will be out of business in a year to a year in a half if they don’t get it together back to the standards of the owners that retired. I hate to say this but don’t patronize this business.“

“We ordered donuts here for my daughter's first birthday. They suggested us to email someone whom I believe had an authority. Turned out the person named Van was really rude and didn't care to respond after asking me how many donuts I wanted. My husband drove straight there and asked if they could just help us out. We did a unicorn theme so anything colorful was good enough. When we came to pick them up, the baker was very excited to show us what he got. He went above and beyond for us. I almost teared up when I saw how sparkly and colorful the donuts were for my daughter's birthday. If you need anything I suggest not to email the generic bober email but go directly to the store and ask for bulk orders.“

“Amazing taste. Got me doing donuts with these donuts. Im rolling round and round. Looks amazing. Very good for the family. My daughter loves it. New fav for them fillings. A must for Donut lovers. Owner was amazing, she was kind, and very comforting.“

“Great donuts. Always friendly staff.“

“Best buttermilk bar and cinnamon crumb in town. Chocolate icing tastes like chocolate (not just sugar). It's fun to sit at the tiny counter and get a coffee or milk, too. I moved away from this part of town, but I would drive out of my way for Broadway Donuts.“

“It is a very old school and simple donut shop. There are no huge frills or super fancy decorations inside. You go there and places like it because you just want to grab your sugar rush circle and get out. I come to this one and get for sports (snack duties) and every time my kids want a treat. Owner and lady working is not rude if you speak and are respectful and polite to her. Most people expect more than what this place is actually there for. If you want social media and frills then it’s not the spot. If you want to grab your sugar circle and go about your day then boom this could be one of your spots.“

“Discovered this place by accident and decided to pop in. The lady there was so nice and let me try a matcha drink that was very tasty. they have an excellent menu of drinks and some baked goods that are health conscious and good for diabetics and Paleo type diets. Just think Starbucks without the 10,000 calories but all the flavor and even high nutrient value. Just stop in and check it out and I am confident you will be as happy as I was.“

“Vegan donuts Friday through Sunday. I usually call ahead to double check! So good 😊 I can’t wait to return!“

“A Roseville institution.
They're always cooking donuts.
Even at 1 AM.

I love that they always make the standards (old-fashioned, cake, and regular glazed, chocolate, or maple) and then more obscure get classic varieties like cinnamon sugar or blueberry cake.

If you are looking for some hoity toity hipster donut place where each doughnut is six dollars, has some cereal on it, and you have to eat it with a fork, this isn't your place.

Baker Ben's is where you go to get a standard donut you would get in Minnesota or Michigan served to you by really caring and considerate people at any time, day or night.

For a long while there, my wife and I had a standing rule that if we ever drove by Baker Ben's and there wasn't someone in there, that we would go in and get at least a donut each.
No matter what time of day it was.
What's crazy, is we would rarely ever go in based on this rule because there always seems to be at least one person ordering donuts no matter what time of day or night.

For us, the only two donut shops that exist in the Roseville area is Donuts and Cinnamon (really good too!) in Rocklin and Baker Ben's in Roseville.“

“Every year I order the lemon cake for my husband's birthday. Every cake I have ever bought from this bakery is divine. If you love someone and really want to get them something special - this is the go-to bakery just don't forget to order in advance.“

“Cool spot!“

“Good coffee 😋 great place to hang out“

“I tried their Caramel nut donut and it is/was absolutely delicious! I could not put it down. I highly recommend picking some up as soon as possible! You will be hooked. The store is very clean and the staff were super friendly.“

“My 2nd time here and everything is amazing! My son tried the fresh strawberry fruit tea and loved it. My favorite is the jasmine tea and it’s guilt free 0 sugar! These are not your regular donuts! Must try!“

“We came yesterday for my kiddos first donut in over a year, she has a gluten allergy and we had no idea Bad Bakers made gluten free donuts. Well they weren’t able to make any yesterday and my daughter was almost in tears. Today we went back and they gave her one each of the gluten free donuts for free, she is in heaven! Thank you Bad Bakers!“

“I absolutely love them. They are so friendly and have the best drinks and sweets around. I recommend to all my friends and family. It is the cutest spot to shoot and just hang out“

“Great donuts and absolutely love their boba tea. Totally worth going and customer service is amazing. everyone is friendly and polite! I definitely recommend you go there and try their food and drinks. It's worth the time, money, and the experience will have you going back for more! My husband and kids always want me to pick some up. I also had the pleasure of my sister going with me when she came up to visit! Our favorite donut shop!“

“Amazed!! And grateful!! Ordered a dozen regular assorted on-line. Got there a couple minutes later (was in the parking lot). They would start the order but did I also order the ‘birthday’ dozen for a $1? I hadn’t, but decided to. The manager said they would be free. Great! Then they said, “we did receive your order and have made it…would you like 3 dozen?” For sure!! Just got back from a week of camping…what a great treat. I dropped off a dozen to my brother and his family and another for our daughter and us to share one more dozen to give away! I LOVE DONUTS!! But… Thank you Krispy Kreme!“
