“This has been my family’s go to restaurant for decades. Every time I go here, I am hit with nostalgia. Most birthdays and special occasions were spent here. Since I live out of state now, I always have to stop at chi chi's whenever I visit California. The plain cheese pizza is the best pizza hands down. I’ll never find another pizza like it. Also the cold cut sandwiches are delicious 🤤 I wish chi chis would extend into Oregon 🥲 also, please NEVER go out of business or I would be so devastated lol“

“Consistent food. Friendly, efficient service. Very reasonable prices for amount of food. Many options. Delivers. Good catering menu.

Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian options: multiple pastas, salad, and pizza. The Florentine lasagna is particularly tasty, especially with added marinara sauce.

The kitchen is small, so there may be non-veg food in the vicinity of your food.

Dietary restrictions: Cheese is omnipresent; it is an Italian place. I don't believe there is a cheese substitute available.

Parking: It is easy to call in orders in advance for pick up or eating there.

I have visited this place for 20 years. The food has been consistent over time in terms of quality.

I have used LA Lasagna for catering for groups of CSUN students and faculty/staff many times to good reviews.

This is a neighborhood restaurant with good prices, easy parking, pick up, and delivery.

The marinara sauce needs more garlic for me, but there is garlic, red peppers, and Parmesan cheese in shaker bottles.

The fountain sodas offered are Coke products. They also have other cans/2 liter bottles. I don't believe there is beer or wine.

The atmosphere is storefront bright with little ambience, but is clean with friendly service, and accurate orders provided.

I now live 50+ miles away and often stop by when I'm in the SFV near CSUN.

Kid-friendliness: The tables are close together, and the area open, so no mobile toddlers. Otherwise, mellow kids are fine here. If you have fidgeters, get your food to go or delivered for everyone 's sake.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for users of wheel chairs or other mobility devices.“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“We visited The Bella Pizza Trattoria Italiana last night and had such a great experience! The whole place has a warm, cozy, family-style vibe that makes you feel right at home.

The food was fantastic, the pizza had a perfect thin, crispy crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The pastas were just as amazing, rich and comforting, like real home-style Italian cooking.

What really made the night extra special was the service. The chef came out to check on how we liked the food (which we loved!), and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell they really care about what they do.

“I went with a large group and I think everyone but me like their entrées way better than I did. I really think maybe I just made a wrong taste choice. I went for a mushroom ravioli with a cream sauce. I have to say the service was excellent. It’s a cute little restaurant. You probably wanna make a reservation if you’re going there, the bread is incredible. It’s so so yummy. I did enjoy the appetizers. I was not impressed though by the Caesar salad I was with five other people and they all loved their trace. I think I just made a poor choice. I would recommend it and even for a romantic night or dinner.“

“I have been going to roma deli for over 6 years. My kids and I sometimes go grab a pizza while we're washing at the nearby laundry place. They have a large variety of drinks and bottled water.
If we dine in we usually get sandwiches and paninis. With either fries or sides. The staff is always friendly and patient with us. The food is always good. Yesterday we got it delivered, I didn't wanna go out and I don't like ordering from delivery apps so I love that you could order directly from their website. I usually get the grilled chicken caprese panini but yesterday I tried the roma cheesesteak and that was also top tier (chicken caprese is still my favorite though) Literally everything that I have tried at Roma Deli has been good. Also I never remember to take my punch cards, I think you get a free sandwich if you fill up your card. If you have picky eaters, trust me you'll find something on the menu that they'll like.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. “I was in town traveling for work and stopped into Bacari Sherman Oaks for dinner. As a party of one, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, where I ended up having an excellent experience. I struck up a conversation with the bartender, Skyler, who was not only super friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu.

Since it was my first time there, I asked Skyler to choose the dishes for me and he absolutely nailed it. Every plate was on point.

“Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.“

“I'm usually not someone who takes the time to review places, but I have to for Pagliacci's!! I came here for a small grad dinner on June 15th. I'd seen their videos on Instagram and saw they make their pasta fresh (which many places don't do). Let me tell you, EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious. They brought out fresh baked bread and there was olive oil and balsamic. I usually need butter on my bread, but the bread was sooo good and with the olive oil it was perfect. I got the short rib pappardelle (pictured) which was immaculate. Others at my table got the Bianca pizza, a pepperoni pizza, the chicken piccata and the mushroom rigatoni. Totally flavorful, no notes. Service was amazing as well. Our waiter was Vlad, he was personable and attentive! Most items on the menu are $20 and up, but you can taste the quality. Will definitely be back!“

“I do frequent this restaurant because the food is good. , But, it seems to be very difficult to get somebody to my table when I sit in front. Last night, geting water for the table took 15 minutes. And then when I'm trying to get somebody's attention, I noticed that the staff gathers around in front and talks together. I have no problem with staff being social but their first priority is to help patrons of the restaurant.“
