New American Restaurants in Northridge, CA

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“Went because I received an email earlier in the day... once at the restaurant we were told that they had run out of 1 of the 2 proteins in the email. We were offered a discount on other options. While the good was good, it wasn't what we originally wanted (and was the main reason for picking Black Angus for dinner).“

“We got everything wrapped in plastic even though we ate in the restaurant. Was common there. Is there something missing when it comes to sustainability? That was a shame and somewhat tarnished the overall impression of the products and staff.“
