“JOi Café in Westlake Village is hands down one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to—and I’ve been to plenty! Everything here is vibrant, fresh, and absolutely packed with flavor. The Macro Salad is a must-try. It’s a beautiful medley of tofu, red cabbage, shredded carrots, spinach, cucumber, avocado, and a dreamy turmeric tahini dressing that ties it all together perfectly. I added a side of their vegan tuna (made with chickpeas and magic, I swear), and it was next-level delicious. My other favorite is the Taco Tacos—a hearty and colorful combo of jackfruit, cabbage, corn tortillas, and guacamole, served with a fresh fruit side. They’re flavorful, satisfying, and super clean. The café itself is immaculate, with a calming vibe and a staff that clearly cares about quality and service. “Dee and Ben are by far the best business owners I have had the pleasure of meeting in years. Dee is the most genuine and kind business owner in all of Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas. Their Matcha is also the best! We love a good refreshing drink and had been to other places in the area and would mix it up from time to time. When we tried Matcha Boba, we stopped going to the other Matcha places in the area and became regular patrons here. Their Strawberry Tea with Popping Boba is worth the add-on and their Pomegranate Tea is delicious! The quality is consistently great every time! I also love their Peach Tea and Cookies and Cream! Dee is so amazing! So nice! So kind! She remembers my name, she knows our order! And she cares about everyone of her customers. You never find that these days but here you do. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I’m a customer for life. Like Cheers, you want to go where they know your name! Thank you Dee and Ben for being the best drink spot in the area. “Sunlife’s Million Dollar Smoothie continues to be one of my favorite things ever. I think they’ve brought the price down a little since Covid?? (Or I’m delusional. It’s still pricey for a smoothie but utterly worth it.
The young woman working the counter in the Calabasas store when I went in to grab it was super friendly, authentically so, and was running things with efficiency and kindness. Really impressed.
Will definitely return (it’s my favorite smoothie in the world, after all).“

“l love The Baker's Daughters commitment to using the finest & freshest ingredients. Their hand-made sour dough bread, pizza, focaccia, avocado tartines, savory and sweet pastries are exceptionally delicious. They make a delicious Brazilian Acai bowl and the unique coffee's are always on point.“
