Restaurants in Oakhurst

“Food is fresh and so good!”

“Just finished my birthday dinner at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst and WOW… highly recommend! The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. Great food, great portions, and a perfect birthday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Oh my God Delicious food, I really enjoy your services”

“From Kansas City, so very picky when it comes to BBQ. This by far is the best BBQ we've had since moving too Lake Havasu City Arizona. An easy 5 s! Meat was smoked perfect, spicy sauce was spot on ana the jalapeño mac and cheese with bacon on top was delicious!”

“We cannot say enough about the amazing dining experience we had! The presentation, wine selection and attention to detail were true 5 star experience. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. We don’t get much chance to dine at true 5 star experience and this Chef and staff enticed us to return very soon!”

“Excellence. Wonderful birthday and accommodating to my vegetarian requirements. Wonderful”

“Love the authentic food.”

“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.”

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.”

“So good! Love the crunch of fresh veggies!”

“I have scoured all 7 continents to embark on the quest to search for the “Worlds Greatest Pizza”, this place takes the place and title of the “Worlds Greatest Pizza” Workers were kind, compassionate, and loyal to their customers. Thank You, Round Table Pizza, for opening my third eye to the world of pizzas.”

“No food, but they have a food truck sometimes. Right across the street from the Hampton and the Holiday Inn and other hotels there’s a restaurant right down the street. Great bartender good times very friendly.”

“Papa Murphy's in Oakhurst has fast & friendly service. Their pizzas are our favorite in town, and the price can't be beat. Ordering on the app is easy and recommended.”

“I loved this place, ended up getting it twice on a long holiday weekend trip. The prices are really good especially during happy hour or if you have a discount available on one of the delivery/pickup apps. I got the Colima burrito (their version of a California burrito) both times and it was super good, tons of ingredients. Would definitely return if I was in the area.”

“Amazing restro with lovely atmosphere, staff were soo good, food is delicious. chicken tikka masala was good apart from that they gave some rice complementary. best Dine in experience.”

“This place is beautiful, with all sorts of decorations that make me feel like I walked into the 1950s. The food was awesome, the Lemonade was fresh and refreshing! They had music the evening I stopped in, and it was a world renowned artist! 🎶⭐️✨⭐️”

“Real barista at this shop. From what I could tell they use real chocolate in the cafe mocha. Skip Starbucks and go here”

“Fun place to take the family! Friendly staff great atmosphere”

“There’s an excellent Hazy IPA, a spot-on Dark Lager, and my favorite approach to the smoked porter style, with a more understated smoke flavor. The staff is knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is laidback.”

“- Food quality is excellent with amazing spice level, flavor, and textures on everything. Fried rice had the perfect amount of oil.
-Overall, main fault is size of food (ask before ordering)
-Adorable decor inside restaurant. It felt lived in, reminded me of going to a family’s home for dinner. Lots of cute drawings and colorings all over, especially at the front where you get your table. (Saw it for a second, but I’m pretty sure there were a couple awesome Chainsaw Man drawings.) Other than that, the decor was mostly elegant.
-Staff are friendly and agreeable, but had a slight language problem (emphasis on slight, easily manageable).”

“El CID is outstanding food is fresh and excellent Services is exceptionally great Jodie is outstanding We travel from Orange County every month and always eat at El CID .”

“was kinda just killing time while my friend got gas and saw this little store, honestly didnt expect it to be so charming. walked in for the hell of it and the froyo was super fresh and creamy with this really good mango topping that was way better than what you get at chain places. They also had some cute impulse buy stuff near the register that I ended up grabbing becuase why not, the lady working was super freindly too. definitely glad I stopped, would absolutly come back next time im in the area.”

“Such a nice and lovely place to eat!!!! We stayed at the hotel for a few days and had breakfast and dinner there. I can highly recommend the Oatmeal with fresh fruit and cappuccino with oatmilk (breakfast) and the pita with hummus and the caramelised carrots with ricotta (dinner). Also, the ambience is really comfortable and I'd definitely come back.”

“This is some of the best food on the mountain. Made by some great people.”

“Best Staff i and cozy while in Oakhurst”

“Always clean inside and out, large portions of food, very clean and sanitary, friendly owners and such hard workers , was great seeing some of the ladies working here again , from before Pete retired you won't be disappointed”

“I used to enjoy Jack in the Box. I have noticed that within the last year the service is poor and sometimes down right rude. Tonight I placed my order and watched as Amanda was mopping the floors then without washing her hands handle the food all while the manager stood by. I think that is it for me. I don’t think I can eat there ever again. They need someone from corporate to act as a random customer and see it for themselves.”

“Price great $10. 55+ Omelette portion was large and surprisingly tasty! Poor waitress had 12 tables....so it was slow, but she was very cheery in spite of her load! They should hire more!! Don't take advantage of her!”
