“I really wanted to love my burger, but it tasted kind of fishy maybe it was cooked on the same grill as some seafood. The staff, though, was super sweet and you can tell it’s a loving, family run place. I don’t live in the area, just passing through, so I probably won’t be back. But if you’re into Hawaiian food and culture, definitely stop by and check it out. It’s easy to get in and out of, and there’s plenty of parking.“

We placed a large catering order (over 400 sandwiches!) for a company event, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready to go, even coming in to work at midnight the night before. He truly wanted to make sure everything was as easy for us as possible. He and his team were highly responsive and exceeded our expectations- even following up after the event to make sure everything went smoothly. If you have any event that you need catering for, you will not go wrong ordering from the 125 Old Grove Road location!“

“Quick Recovery, Great Food, and Professional Service

I stopped in at the Vista Taco Bell around 8:45 PM and used the kiosk to place my order. After waiting for a bit, I found out my order had accidentally been handed to someone else. Mistakes happen — but how the staff handled it really stood out.

They immediately acknowledged the mix-up and got to work remaking everything without hesitation. No excuses, no frustration — just quick, respectful, and professional service. Everyone stayed cool under pressure and moved with urgency.

The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what I ordered the second time around. As a business owner myself (SwoleTheBarber LLC, working out of Kingdom Kutz in downtown Vista), I truly respect good customer service — and this team delivered.

“The drive thru is typically always quick at this location. The food has always been freshly made never cold, never room temperature either. It is always good.The one working the drive thru is very friendly and demonstrates excellent customer care. I enjoy hearing them say "you, got it" "would that complete your order?" (instead of saying is that all) "have a good night".“

“Most people who eat Taco Bell use the drive thru bc they are ashamed to be seen eating in public, not me. I'm proud to eat Taco Bell inside. Wanna know why? They blast the AC here, think 65 degrees in the movie theater type cold. It's so cold it will chill your food if you let it sit for a few minutes, so eat quick. I know I do.

They have the kiosks like McDonalds, but they also have somone at the counter more often than not, unlike McDonalds who you have to get their attention if your not using the app/kiosk.

They promote their items by profit. The bigger the exclusive the more profit. The values and deals are all squished in the corner, get a box it's cheaper than anything except a rewards offer on the app. Their rewards are mid compared to Jack and mcdonalds.

Food is on the higher end for Taco Bells. There is alot of advertising about jobs here, but there isn't alot of turn over. It's fairly clean and the staff if nice, even when they don't know you yet, and yes they know me by my orders.

One of the last fast foods with actual working soda fountain. The water dispensed is cold and not room temp like other places.

I'm still a kid at heart where I tend to get the classics (hard/soft tacos, crunch wrap supreme, quesadilla, chalupa, beefy 5). I still miss the old stuff like the enchirito and find the cantina versions to be the quality of old at an elevated price and not worth it.

I used to come here late night drunk, but now I come here mid day and it's just fine.“

“I had to take a moment to appreciate the Panda Express on Douglas Street in Oceanside. Every visit is consistently great, and a lot of that comes down to the manager, Enrique. He’s clearly built a culture where the staff is friendly, warm, and genuinely cares about the customer experience.

The customer service here is exceptional—everyone greets you with a smile, the line moves quickly, and you always feel welcome. On top of that, the food is always fresh, which makes it even more inviting to come back again and again.

The homeless are rampant around this one. The food prices are ridiculously up charged at this location. I got a breakfast sandwich meal with French toast and spent 20$.
The homeless guy bathing in a puddle in the parking lot also agreed that that is too much for fast food.

“Ordered for pick up, finally downloaded app, but loved how simple it was to order online for pickup on the website. More places should follow suit.

Food was warm, and ready to go 6 mins after ordering. Make sure you ask for/ confirm your condiments in person- (slipped my mind) ranch & salt was missing...
Western bacon cheeseburger was a bit dry, would've definitely added barbecue sauce if i had it.

“I love this location and all but with my recent visit on Dec 23 20025, I had order a 2 meals with one drink that was served in 12 min which is great but, as I'm 14 min in eating my meal. The front counter lady by the name of Fran yells out you can only sit here for 30 min after eating your meal! As I was halfway through my 2ed meal. She was really rude and made me feel unwelcomed. She then mentioned I was there for an hour which is untrue for u had time in receipt 🧾. I hope she learns how to be well mannered in her own work environment.“

I’m a healthcare worker and lately walking into any establishment after working a long shift is rough because a lot of places look at you and treat you like you have the plague. Not here. They were pleasant, thanked me for my hard work, apologized for the wait, even though I felt they were very quick, and gave me a free meal because of my hard work (or a big possibility that I looked worn and torn and they felt sorry for me lol). People don’t know how much this simple act means to us right now that are on the front lines with this crazy illness and being in contact with it on a daily basis. Our stress level is high and we are drained in ways I never imagined. I attempted to use the mobile application for pickup, but I am not yet proficient with its interface.“

“Food was somewhat poorly made, burger was falling apart. I keep coming here because they're few of McDonald with playground. They also doesn't have a changing table for the babies in neither regular/family restroom. So keep that in mind. Love that the doors in playground area turn on and an loud alarm goes on if they are opened.“
