“My friend and I stumbled upon Grape in the Fog at the end of an incredible California road trip. The ambiance is amazing, wonderful wine and delicious food. We shared the meatballs and the hummus plate and both were fabulous. We finished with the waffle with strawberries and vanilla whip cream and a trio of cheesecakes (lime, coconut and pineapple). I highly recommend stopping in to this cozy wine bar.“

“Loved their Al pastor cauliflower tacos! They're delicious! Haven't seen this vegetarian option on menus. We also got the mushroom cheese dish to share. They give about 6 fresh tortillas with it. Great for sharing between 2-4 ppl. Great service. The decor and the vibe of the place totally goes with the menu. Came here for a friend's birthday. We were group of 10 ppl or so!“

“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“

“The best way to cap off a not do fun day of travel was dinner with these three! Even with the changing meet up times, they were all gracious and flexible enough to make it happen and I couldn’t have been happier to break bread with one of my oldest friends, aka The Captain, his wife, and one of the earliest friends I made in the Chicagoland area…and it didn’t hurt that the food was amazing! I’d probably walked past this place several times during my previous visits to Burlingame but never eaten there…my loss!“

“I decided to check them out because they are pretty well-rated on Yelp. When I arrived, I ordered the spinach and cheese gozleme which is a type of flatbread, and according to their menu which is on some screens that rotate the images periodically, it's one of their more popular items. They have a couple other vegetarian gozleme options as well as selling falafel wraps and plates. They also have a pretty reasonably priced combo deal you can get which includes a main dish, a drink, and one of two appetizer options. I really liked it a lot, it came with not only the gozleme itself but also a yogurt-based sauce and some salad including lettuce, carrots, red/purple cabbage. I thought the salad was just alright. The gozleme had cheese that is strong and pungent in a good way and was overall quite flavorful and juicy. The sauce is also pretty good, it makes for a nice "cool" and refreshing flavor if you combine it with the gozleme. Overall, I'd say the food is reasonably priced and I would be down to eat here again.“

Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.“

“Overdue review - came here for a board dinner. Beautiful spacious comfortable space. The food was really good! Want to go back when they have the cauliflower main dish back - it was delicious! Didn't really have enough room to do the delicious desserts justice - another reason to go back. Unfortunately they close at 7pm due to being in a office building space. There's an underground path to the parking garage - it's a little tricky to figure out but it's there. It is a bit of a walk - might want to drop off the rest of your party at the restaurant first before parking.“

“Went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after it was recommended by a friend for having good dimsum. We thought there would be a wait but there were a few open tables so we were seated immediately. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. Go for the food, not the ambiance. The menu isn't as extensive than a dimsum restaurant, but we appreciated the variety. Our favorites: * String beans - crisp and flavorful!* passion fruit aloe green tea - refreshing! * pork belly with charcoal buns - my son who loves Peking duck said that he would rather get these now. Not sure if the charcoal buns are supposed to taste different than normal bao - they tasted the same to us. * braised beef noodle soup with wontons - delicious shrimp wontons and a very beefy broth. * pan fried soup dumplings - tasty filling and lots of soup to slurp up. Next time we would skip: * cucumbers - too vinegary. Seems like they may have accidentally poured too much vinegar in our serving. At least that's my hope. * beef kimcheese rice - more tomatoey than kimchee flavored. * XLB trio - couldn't really tasty the truffle flavor. I wish we could order just the crab ones. The others weren't that amazing.“

“They used to have one of these at SEA, but it has now been replaced by a wine tasting venue with no food. What I like about Vino Volo is that you can get pretty decent food and snacks for a reasonable price. “I last visited Seville Tapas long before the pandemic and was happy to revisit this local Spanish gem of a restaurant last weekend after a long absence where the chef-owner trained at the California Culinary Academy. My friend swooned over the delicious gazpacho and Piquillo peppers filled with herbed goat cheese, while I enjoyed the traditional Tortilla Española/potato omelet. We also enjoyed a glass of Spanish white wine while sitting on the deck and enjoying the gorgeous views on a perfect day. BTW: we both live in SF and can't wait to return. Note: The reverse side of the menu also offers a selection of American items.“
