“Really good food! Love the chips and salsa and tasted several drinks ~ A hidden gem slightly off the footpath of old town Temecula. Not open late (till 9) but a relaxing atmosphere to dine in that will not burst your eardrums like other establishments. No over the top theatrics, just really good food and drinks, tastefully decorated and a great patio. Can’t wait to go back : )“

“Best all around Mexican restaurant dine in experience in Murrieta/Temecula. Killer Margaritas, specials, service, food and reasonable prices. Been many times and it’s our go to no doubt burrito/taco stop. Oh and it’s on the way Pechanga Highly recommended“

“Excellent tacos! Has a salsa bar and good peppers. Rice's fluffy, beans tastes great. Serving sizes very fair price is reasonable. Food is made fresh to order and yeah it just tastes good dude!
Swing here every time I'm in the area worth every penny. Also my kids like it too so that's helpful.
If you are really hungry I guess you can order a tray of tacos or enchiladas or rice. But I'm sure you have to wait a little bit for them to prepare that.“

“I have visited this location a few times and it has so far always been fast and good quality for the food.
I have not noticed any issues with any of my orders.
One point that can be improved is quicker clearing of tables or a point to return your trays to, as opposed to leaving the trays at the table.
I will be continuing to visit this location. I love the fine shredding of the lettuce.“

Last time I went they gave me a free 2 liter bottle of soda as well, which was appreciated.“

“My family and I went on Sunday for the first time to have lunch at La cocina. Julio was our waiter and was incredible. The service was amazing and the food was great! I had Camarones Al Mojo Ajo, and they were so good. I highly recommend this restaurant. 😊“

“We tried it for the first time on Saturday. It is really beautiful inside. The employees were so kind and let us have samples and taste tests and answered all of our questions. We got two burritos. They were huge and delicious. Try the cucumber mint refresher as well, so good!“

“This place is as clean as it comes. The staff and manager go above and beyond, and the food is tasty and delicious, and the service was so speedy. This particular Rubios gets 5 stars from me for everything. They truly take hood care of this business and welcome their guests with open arms and great service. Great job, team Temecula Rubios.“

“yes I recommend their food ... but you need to speak slower to the employees on what you want & check your order before you leave . twice already I tried to get the double chicken avacado Salad .. first time I got some citus salad second they gave me some chicken protein bowl non of these words are in the meal DOUBLE CHICKEN AVACADO BOWL !!! Very disappointed with tonight dinner !!“

We never felt more at home. Great explaining the choices and took the time to explain the different tortillas and salsas and what goes best. We got the burrito with Carnitas! and Taco Salad with pollo (delish!!!!) we watched them put everything together which was nice
They were nice and paitient with everyone which is nice to see friendly people. Thank you to you guys. We stopped on in for our road trip… we will be back.“

“Cotijas has some of the best Mexican food in the area and absolutely the best salsa in town. Their salsa is fresh, full of flavor, and has the perfect amount of heat. Their street tacos are incredible too, and the burritos are enormous, fresh, and packed with quality ingredients.
The portions are generous, the food is consistently delicious, and the customer service makes you feel genuinely appreciated. The $10 credit toward my next order was an especially thoughtful touch.
Great food, great value, and great people. If you have not tried their salsa and street tacos, you are missing out. Five stars without hesitation!“

“Whoever wrote this business a bad review must of had an unlucky experience. Their food is so flavorful! They use all natural cheddar cheese, NOT poisonous American cheese. Their carne asada has a high quality taste, in my opinion. I appreciate that there is the slightest wait because I know they are making my food hot and fresh. I appreciate this business for sharing their cultures food! The drive through cashier is very nice & kind as well.“

“We stopped at Mis Cuates on the way to Palomar on the 4th. So good!!! I had chiles rellenos, so tastey...I have to avoid wheat flour, so was perfect for me since they use egg only. We were served on real plates with silverware, another plus. Ranchero sauce, amazing! Thank you Mis Cuates!“
