“This location for goodboybob has been a favorite of my wife and I since we moved to the south bay. Its convenient location adjacent to the public library and a block up from the beach makes it a frequent pit stop or starting point for us. The coffees are always delicious and the pastries are solid. Though the pastries can run a little pricey it is consistent with the surrounding market. I specifically am writing this review to highlight though the excellent service. Today one of the baristas (I believe his name was Saul??) generously and pleasantly explained the different beans when he noticed I was checking some of the bags and he spent the time to explain to be the different beans, the variations in roasting process that differentiate some of them, his favorites, and went as far to provide me a fresh hot sample of some that we were discussing. At the end of it I left with just the latte I came in for(which was exceptional as always), but I also left with greater appreciation for the coffee I was enjoying and a good idea of what I can look for and enjoy in my coffee.“

“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

“One of all favorites branch place in Redondo Beach area, they close at 2 PM. We love their hot and fresh food after order doesn’t take more than 15 minutes. Parking is a little hassle, but it’s still worth it. If you go 2/3 blocks away, you can easily find parking. Before you go, make sure to get in the line from yelp otherwise you have to wait in the line. Service is excellent.“

“We found this place by accident and decided to try some açaí right away and I’m so glad we did. I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and on top of that, you can choose unlimited toppings. Highly recommend!“

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. “We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

I love stopping by for the best acai bowls and smoothies while on the pier. They also have wide variety of snacks for grab n go. Service is always lightning fast and friendly.

“This is a good choice when you want shave ice dessert the flavors are natural I’m allergic to a lot of colors and they don’t add any additives so if you were sensitive as I am, I has not reacted to anything that I have order there, which is very common with this desert. they had lots of colors this place doesn’t.“

I’m so happy that small, independent shops like this are helping to expand and freshen up the scene. This place is my absolute favorite!! It’s incredibly difficult to find a coffee bean that’s citrusy, chocolaty, and well-balanced. And the staff is super friendly and welcoming. “Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.“

I wanted to try the Nutella and green tea macroons however they were sold out. I settled for the fruity pebble and I loved it.“

“I’m basing my review on two different cake donuts from two different visits….One was chocolate with vanilla icing, the other crumb-top—both of excellent donuts. The cafe also serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, but I came for the donuts.

The cafe itself is very clean, good music playing, booth tables lining the windows, upgraded with a digital menu board. Nothing fancy, yet nicely upgraded interiors with tasteful finishes. It’s a perfect traditional Los Angeles donut shop that has invested in offering a comfortable cafe experience with above average food.

Next time I’m ordering coffee and more donuts, maybe a sandwich, and bringing something to read and stay a while.“

“First visit and was not dissatisfied. Heard about the place through friends and the Yelp reviews backed up the claims. Nice gem of a place… I had the Protein Scramble and my wife had the Waffles! All the food was amazing and made to order🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 A comfortable lounge environment, tasty food, and great staff making sure we have everything we need. “After a nice hike down to the cove, this was a welcoming and cozy spot to grab a coffee and soak up the beautiful California coastal atmosphere of Terranea Hotel and Resort. I've stayed at the resort and played some golf there as well. Most trips include a visit to Sea Beans. Staff is A+.“

“Brought my daughter after jujitsu class... we were ordering and i saw the new reopens drinks and suggested she try one of them... she said she wanted to stick with her original order of a mango smoothie with no boba and mango jelly and popping boba... before we even paid the drink was prepared... one thing I noticed was all the employees were smiling... my daughter left her phone on the counter and we walked over to the bakery next door... as we were walking out Roxy came and brought us the phone.... thank you for a great experience and saving us a headache.“

“We stopped into the San Pedro Cafe this morning for breakfast and it was a fantastic experience. The food, service and atmosphere were all top notch! The breakfast burrito was HUGE and it easily fed two people. The eggs and chorizo, with a side of salsa verde and corn tortillas hit the spot! I definitely recommend the San Pedro Cafe as an out of towner, cruising out the port of Los Angeles.“

“Its unfortunate that probably the only people who will eat here are travelers on their way to Catalina because it truly is worth a drive for a great meal! Who'd a thought a breakfast burrito and an omelette would surprise anyone but that's exactly what it did. Both were delicious! I even heard my Fiancé say "Tjis is the best omelette i've ever had!" So there you have it. And did I mention the prices were extremely reasonable? Actually quite low for the quality! Have a bite on the water and enjoy everything about this little bistro!“
