“Restaurant has fast service, friendly atmosphere and good prices. My food was ready within 10 minutes. I ordered the number 17, combination plate CA roll with teriyaki chicken, I substituted the salad with rice bowl, also had a side of miso soup. All the food was delicious, and fresh. Plenty of parking it’s located in a plaza with also plenty of street parking. I am very pleased with this restaurant. Will definitely come again, it will most likely be my go to place. It is hard to find a sushi restaurant that embodies a relaxing atmosphere with good food. Thank you to the team, I will recommend to all my friends.“

“We moved a street over and were excited to try. The $80 omakase left us full and content! The perfect amount of food. The black cod, seared salmon, and otoro were huge highlights. As a ginger lover, I was thrilled with how good this was and ate my entire pile mostly plain with just with their high quality soy sauce. We couldn't help eyeballing the huge 12 piece rolls that were going out past us and can't wait to try next time.“

“If I could give more stars, I would! This was amazing, fresh sushi. The baked crab roll was melt in your mouth! It’s a smaller menu but everything is made to perfection for that reason. They also have sushi plates for 2 that allow you to explore the menu for a great price! All the classics done the best way.“

This restaurant has the layout, and feel of Japanese restaurants from days gone by. However, at the same time, it's very modern and stylish.

I entered with my Mom, and we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very friendly and had a great personality. It turns out he was very knowledgeable as well. I ordered the Salmon Shioyaki Entree, and Mom ordered the Miso Marinated Black Cod Entree. The Entrees come with Soup & Salad. The salad was subtly flavorful. With the greens, vegetables, crunchy topping, and dressing combining to create a delicious starting salad. The Miso Soup was very flavorful, and well balanced. They were both wonderful ways to start a meal. My Salmon Shioyaki was incredible. The Shio (Salt), enhances the natural flavor of the Salmon, and helps in browning, and creating crispy tasty salmon skin. The flesh was firm, yet tender and flaky. Just a squeeze of lemon, and it was perfection exemplified. The accompaniments, and rice, along with the delicious mixed Vegetables made it a complete meal. I had a taste of the Miso Black Cod. The glazed Miso flavor was undeniable, as the Black Cod melted in my mouth, ending in deliciousness.

A Japanese meal embodies that the sum of all parts, equals the whole. The Entrees here are examples of that philosophy.

The prices here are well worth it, considering what you get. The whole staff here is very friendly. Our server helped make our dining experience fantastic. We hope to see him again. We will be back,“

I have never had to wait for a table and the service is direct, and courteous. they provide incredible ginger that they will refill throughout your meal, so go crazy, it’s addictive. and the wasabi. freshly grated, sweet, fluffy, this is the real deal.
my favorites are the sweet shrimp, the uni served with hokkaido and santa barbara side by side, the halibut, and red snapper. but it’s all very very good.

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

Something the previous reviews neglected to mention. For a $100+ order and two have to take it to go, it’s definitely not what I expected. We did a picnic nearby to adjust. “Authentic family owned and ran sushi and omakase restaurant. My friends live out here and they come here often, we had reservations for the back room, it was really nice and cozy and they let us use their speaker, we probably were really loud during dinner. The sushi chef was out front and its bar and omakase style. We had the back and multiple rounds of sake, we also ordered edamame, seaweed salad and some other rolls too. I like amaebi (sweet shrimp) and they fried the heads for us. We did a couple of other tuna and mackerel rolls as well. There’s some street parking and parking further in the areas. Great vibes, authentic and great service!“
