“Solid Chinese American food. We had the Mapo Tofu, Orange Chicken, Panda Beef, and Pork Chow Fun. Drinks (Yuzu Lemon Drop and Lychee Martini) good as well, strong and smooth. Would have enjoyed more options for traditional Chinese, but the limited menu was showcased well with everything we ate.

Service was amazing, wheelchair requirements were made known to the staff and they proved a great table with easy and clear access.“

“I ordered takeout- i got the Dan Mein Short Rib with the Baby Bok Choy in extra garlic. As usual it was delicious and fresh- but they are using an app now to order and they really thought about the customer when they made it because you can add or remove any ingredient on every dish and if it's not listed -there is an option to write a note with your request. I know this seems basic- but I have encountered alot of apps that wont let me add or specify how I want it - like if I want it cooked well done or extra toasted.
I liked the option to choose what side or sauce (like their fresh cut ginger or chili oil) and how many I wanted and if I needed plates or utensils.

“The food was delicious, the service excellent, the establishment was clean, portions generous, and cost affordable. We ordered chow mein, fish with black bean sauce, and Mongolian beef. It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.“

“The food here is exceptional. I’ve only had the fried rice, beef chicken, shrimp etc but it’s perfect, and I know because I eat this kind of food a lot and it’s noticeably better. You get a free egg roll and even soup if you want it. And after all that you’re getting a big discount per pound. This is one place where they might need to be told to raise the price to stay in business. It has a nice little at home feeling. It’s definitely flying under the radar so buy now before it’s too late! Oh yeah, and I remember asking for a second egg roll. On the house! They didn’t charge me, again.“

“I had the roast duck here and it was absolutely amazing! The skin was perfectly crispy, and the meat was juicy, flavorful, and tender. You can tell it’s freshly made and prepared with care.

The portion was generous and paired really well with the house-made sauce and rice. Honestly, it reminded me of the authentic flavors you’d find in Asia.

“I went here for the first time on a Tuesday night. They have a physical menu and an online menu. My friend and I ordered a bunch of thin slices of meat. Lamb and beef. We tried pig brain, I did not like it. My favorites were the lamb slices. I also tossed in a block of udon noodles into the broth. The combination of chewy udon with lamb was phenomenal. We also ordered plenty of vegetables but some of their names I don't know. I let my friend mix in the sauces to make one whole sauce. It was a sweet sauce. The service was really good. They were always checking on us. The waitress was very helpful with our questions.“

“Pretty old school restaurant with white table cloths and table side service. Dinner on a Saturday night was pretty packed so the wait was awhile. Once sat though the service was quick and the food came out even faster. The best things we ate were the Moo Shu chicken wraps, they were very savory and flavorful. The slippery shrimp was definitely memorable and apparently iconic- and I can see why! The texture was so satisfying and reminded me of corn nuts but in a good way? The rest of the dishes were pretty standard, but overall it was a nice family meal !“

“First time trying this place. I got the braised beef soup and surpassed my expectations! I placed a pick up order, the noodles and veggies came separated from the broth and braised beef. The noodles were al dente, the bok choy had a nice crunch, broth was flavorful and they did not skimp on the tender, juicy and delicious braised beef.

My only complaint is that on a to go order they did not include any utensils…“

“Been coming here for years now and this place is a good place to grab a quick bite and go. Im always tired or busy from work and their food always fills me up. Since im on a budget its very cost friendly and they load up the trays with a lot of meat compared to other places. The smoothies are sweet and the Hot and Sour soup is spicy but delicious.“

“This was my second time coming here (the first time I came was on a whim and I was blown away!), and it did not disappoint. I’m honestly not sure why this place isn’t busier; the food is SO good!

I came here for lunch with my partner today. I ordered the spicy seafood crepe and he got the pork belly crepe. We also shared shrimp gyoza and he got a pork bun. Everything was so good, so worth it!!

I’ll admit, the first time I came I was a bit apprehensive about the crepe because I don’t love things that are overly eggy but the ratio is superb. It’s made to order and the staff are friendly!

“I've been to this location several times since I've lived in Pasadena for the past 3 and a half years. The classic top-rated American Chinese fast food that they're well-known for can be found here. The portions are not as generous as some other hole-in-the-wall American Chinese fast food places but there is definitely quality to be found here. The limited-edition Hot Orange Chicken is a must have if you read this review and they still have it available. Beijing Beef is another go-to entree and we cannot forget about the Honey Sesame Chicken Breast or the Honey Walnut Shrimp. All of them highly recommend.“
