Can you imagine 20 of us, but we never had to ask for another drink, she automatically filled our glasses and she had a smile all the time. “I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

“Modern, clean cafe with yummy Asian inspired treats. We got their chocolate mochi brownie, miso cinnamon roll, and cream bun.

All were delicious, but the mochi brownie was our favorite. The miso perfectly complements the cinnamon roll and the roll still tastes sweet. The cream bun was so soft and not too sweet.

Street parking available nearby. Cafe has good seating, high ceilings, and modern decor.“

“She did such an AMAZING job on my besties birthday cake. It tasted so delicious I was surprised how good it tasted for gluten and dairy free!! This woman is such a sweet girl and catered to some changed and was quick to respond to my inquiries. I would HIGHLY recommend!“

“Above average, I can say for everything. Add in and out, the only thing that is changing. Is there size of the hamburgers? Are getting smaller and also their fries. The smaller servings they're holding out on the food, but higher prices make me want to go and eat someplace else.“

“This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!“

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

I had their matcha latte with whole milk and it was delicious. The right flavor and temperature. The place looks like a great spot to pull up a laptop and listen to some good music.

“What they do have tastes delicious. From the sweet, rich pastries and cakes to the satisfying burritos and mollete, I always love what I have ordered. I can't judge the authenticity and I do wish they had a few more choices different (and healthier?) from their current selection. They do have vegetarian options, although they don't always have them in stock. The drinks also satisfy my coffee cravings.

They have free wifi, but it isn't a place to sit and work for more than a couple of hours, but they have a bathroom for customers.“

“Follow the sign at Painter Avenue. Park your car at the first parking spot you see. Proceed down the driveway (look left) until you see the door in the fence. Walk to the left of the canopy and walk up the stairs to the "will call" office. Knock on the door until someone answers. They will walk you to the bakery where you can choose and pay for your bread. They take cash and cards. Excellent bread at great prices. I paid $5 for a large loaf of sourdough bread. Would definitely recommend!“

“This restaurant is MOSTLY VEGAN. A few items do have egg or dairy milk, but they are easily swapped for plant based options. This place uses fresh ingredients and makes creative dishes. I wish my tummy was big enough to eat one of everything! I got the chilaquiles and a "dirty"chai latte (dirty means it has an extra espresso shot). “The best and sometimes only good gluten-free pizza in the city. The cauliflower crust pizza is delicious and the mushroom pepperoni and sausage is my very favorite. I always get great service, and they're taking baked pizzas are really inexpensive and then I always have pizza on hand at home which works cuz I'm a single person!

My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. Very disappointed with the customer service because she says that they can't send me a replacement soup just to $12 refund for the one that was damaged. I don't know how I'm supposed to do the 5-day cleanse next week as planned as I am now short a soup 😔 First and last order if they can't make this right. UPDATE: I guess they did the best that they could to make it right. It is the best combo, waking up to fresh croissants every morning would be the best way to start your day!!!Did I mention I love SugarBloom Bakery, some favorites mine are: Sesame Pretzel Croissant (vegan), White Miso Kouign-Amann, Spam & Kimchi Croissant, Miso Butterscotch and Triple Threat Chocolate chunk cookies, of course the plain/ chocolate/ham and cheese croissants.
