It's my first time here I go to school across the street. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl. Wasn't sure if I was gonna need the plate because I wasn't sure how much food came in the bowl but wow! It's a good size bowl and it's full of chicken and beef. It's not just all rice. The price was under $20 for a drink and bowl with avocado add on. I'm very happy with my lunch! It's really fresh and no weird pieces of meat. The teriyaki has a really good flavor, I did add extra sauce to my bowl. It's very tasty. I'll definitely be back.“

But the best part about this place is the food. This is some of the best food in LA, if not the best. I’ve tried the Dragon Roll and the Tiger Roll and loved them both. The Tiger Roll has plain cooked shrimp, shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber with a lovely mix of sauces over the top. The Dragon Roll has spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and onion also with delectable sauces on top.

The Dragon Roll was the winner for sure - the spicy salmon on top was some of the best I’ve had - not surprised it’s one of their best sellers.

Their rolls are quite large - more than enough for one person per roll and the prices are very decent. Their combos are pretty huge and an excellent bargain. We got my FIL a combo C and a Blossom Roll to go on our last visit - I was impressed by the presentation and he loved them both. Will have to try one next time!

The vibe in the market hall is lively and inviting - with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you’ve finished your dinner. “Sashimi: Walk in and walk straight to the back if you’re looking for sashimi. Grab a ticket! They’ll call the number and then you’ll get to pick the sashimi you want. Wait till they cut it and come back when they call your number. About 5-10 minutes! Once your ticket number is called, grab the cut sashimi and you’re ready for checkout (front).

Rolls: If you’re looking for rolls, walk in to the left side (coolers). Theres a line sometimes so don’t cut in line if you see people wrapped around the corner for the rolls!

Interior: it’s packed with Japanese condiments/food/snacks! Price of these are higher but I do believe most of them come from Japan.

Price: it’s reasonable and fresh! Highly recommend if you have party to serve.

Condiments for your fish: they give soy sauce/ chopstick/ice if needed at the checkout. Wasabi is sold separately at the coolers if needed but wasabi is also included inside your sashimi cut containers.

“I live near this Japanese style food restaurant but never have tried, today I decided to have for dinner with my family, my wife had the combo #02(combos come with beverage)she got beef and with white rice and x2 piece californa roll, I got combo #01 chicken and white rice with 4 dumplings, and for my 5yr old son we got him chicken no sauce with rice with the option of a mini box size, perfect for a toddler, we all were very pleased with the food quality and taste.

“We had a fantastic lunch here today! This place has a cool and relaxing atmosphere, and the guy behind the sushi counter took great care of us. We had some miso soup, seaweed salad, and an assortment of hand rolls. The soup was solid and the seaweed salad was delicious - honestly one of our favorite parts of the meal. The rolls were all very good; the fish was fresh, and each roll highlighted the taste of the fish without overwhelming it with other sauces and flavors. The standout was the sea bream hand roll that they were serving today, which was INCREDIBLE. Next time, I may just order as many of those as possible!“

The owner has been playing this music in this town for 20 ish years, and you can feel the history behind his collection of fliers and posters that he's sharing with the world.

The food fills a good niche in Little Tokyo. A few fried bar favorites, classic and seasonal sashimi, and a handful of fusion/vegan dishes differentiate from the other izakaya nearby.

Lastly, it really feels like part of the neighborhood. An old guy said this was a good place run by good neighbors. Why would he lie?

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“I came here to check out their breakfast and let me tell you I was impressed. They had this toast with avocado, onions and tomatoes 10 out of 10 I even tried their breakfast udon and the broth was so delicious. I even got into their onigiri and I tried their California their crunch the tuna and the salmon, and they were all so flavorful. But their yogurt Matcha was my favorite as well as their torch spam musubi so so good definitely you’re gonna wanna come check out for their breakfast. It is such a cute little mom and pop shop. “Recently had lunch as a first-timer, and I enjoyed my meal. I've been eyeing this place for awhile, thanks to social media. The menu offers plenty of tasty options, from ramen to sushi and sushi rolls, udon, soba, rice bowls, and more. Vegetarian options are also available.

I ordered the Spicy Ramen along with a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi. The Spicy Ramen has a flavorful pork-and-chicken broth that's not too heavy, and the spice level is medium. Ask for more spice if you like the heat. The pork chashu was thin, but very tender and tasty with a bit of melt-in-the-mouth fat still.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi and seared peppered salmon sushi. Both cuts were delicious and prepared well.

The staff was kind and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and is kept clean. Some pleasant-looking decor as well. Parking can be tricky as the plaza has other popular businesses, and the lot can fill up fast. Can't wait to try more of the menu soon.“

The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying.
