“Yo, let me hit you with the lowdown on Fire Wings – these bad boys are in a league of their own, leaving Wing Stop in the dust. The flavor journey? Mind-blowing. We went for the garlic Parmesan and the Cali Rub flavors, and honestly, they're not playing around – both get a solid 10+ on the taste-o-meter.The whole vibe at Fire Wings is as chill as a summer breeze. Picture this: Drake and Bad Bunny dropping beats in the background while we vibed, eagerly awaiting our wing feast. Three mondo-sized screens for the ultimate in-house wing experience, making it a spot where you can savor flavor with a side of entertainment. Now, let's talk about these wings – hands down, the Bay's flavor game just got leveled up. What sets them apart? Perfect cooking, no overdone drama. The seasoning? Straight-up wizardry. It's like they waved a magic wand, ensuring every inch of those wings was a taste explosion. This ain't your run-of-the-mill wing joint; it's a flavor carnival, a wing sanctuary. If you're cruising through the Bay and not swinging by Fire Wings, you're missing out, my friend. These wings are a flavor adventure, and if you're on the wing hype train, this spot is your station. Trust me, you want a ticket to this taste paradise – Fire Wings is where the wing magic happens!“

“The food is creative and delicious! Dad and mom work the front of the restaurant and they are absolute gems: attentive, friendly and they make the dining experience special and fun. The food options were tantalizing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! The experience would be even better if the interior looked more like earlier photos (less cluttered and more stylish).Vegetarian options: There are some options available.Parking: No dedicated parking, street parking only.“

“100/10 highly recommend! HUGE servings, and the food was delicious. They're set up for easy take-out orders and also have a clean, comfy dining/lounge area. And some games! We hung out and played Uno after we ordered. The guy behind the counter was really nice, told us all about the food, and showed off their combo platters - you could tell he was proud and rightfully so!! Overall, it was an excellent experience“

“I've ordered takeout twice, each time getting the Beef Pho. Their broth is SO flavorful, everything is super-fresh, and they give generous portions. In addition, the staff is cheerful and friendly. It's a delight to get my food here!Parking: Parking is plentiful and large, but the location is a pain to access because you must enter/exit across traffic from Sereno Dr. It is inaccessible from Broadway.“

“Asaka is a delightful addition to the North Berkeley restaurant scene! The food is delicious, the service impeccable, and the owner generously donated a few platters of sushi ? to the Japanese American Experience event we held last month at St. Mary Magdalen Church. Come check it out!Vegetarian options: Honestly, I don't know if there are main dishes for vegetarians, but their edamame was delicious!Kid-friendliness: I think children would enjoy the food here.“

“Very delicious authentic Asian cuisine. The pork and duck combo were magnificent. The owner/operator is super nice. Hong Kong ice milk tea is a great sipper on a hot day. I'm not sure about seating, but I took it to go, so it wasn't an issue. Very reasonable prices.“

“Super fun lunch with a friend who introduced me to this restaurant in the Ranch 99 complex. We shared the salt and pepper tofu, Sichuan style twice cooked pork bacon, spicy garlic eggplant, crispy noodle chicken and pan fried chive turnover.Everything was super fresh and steaming hot. The tofu fried to perfection and soft & silky inside. We agreed to try item we had never had before and the twice cooked pork bacon and crispy noodle chicken were two of those items. The pork was very flavorful with the perfect heat level, and the crispy noodles under the layer of delicious chicken, mushrooms and fresh Vegis lent the perfect texture. The chive turnover was a fun dish. Our server, and everyone at the was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. Two things to know, parking can be a challenge as it is a busy area (there are multiple restaurants and shops in the complex, plus Ranch 99) and if you pay in cash, you get a free mini ice cream.“

“service is fast, food is delicious. my favorite is carbonara, also tried pad thai, garlic fried chicken, ramyeon bbq pork etc. the only thing is that the pink milk is NOTHING like the photo- it looks straight up like pepto bismol and I have no idea what flavor it is, it just tastes artificial.“

“Quick and attentive service ( not too much) even though they were busy. Great food. Love the tea salad. The garlic eggplant with shrimp was really good. The samosas to start were a good choice , nice and tender filling with a great crust. We also had crispy chicken, garlic noodles, garlic broccoli, and black pepper beef. All were delicious. I had a great tasting ginger lemonade.“

“The food is amazing! My go to order is Shrimp Fried Rice with an order of Egg rolls and a mango tea! The service is great, everyone is kind and greets you when you come in! It's usually not packed when i go, but it definitely should be because it's great here! The only issue is the parking spaces, it's limited but if you're lucky you'll find some, close by!“

“A solid poke place that my friend fell in love with. I am not super crazy about this place but I have to admit that when I come to Berkeley and look for a healthy and delicious food, I check this place first. There is not a lot of options for poke but who wants many options when you know that the top two choices are the best. The mango in salmon poke is a clear fun twist and the squid in tuna is great too. The price is reasonable given the quality of the fish and other ingredients.“

“First time trying this place and loved it! We ordered the Tan Tan bowl and it was so good. It wasn’t too spicy and the flavors were spot on. The bowls run around $12 which is reasonably priced for what you get. We also tried the teriyaki chicken bowl, gyoza, matcha iced tea, and the mango soda which was also very good. Plenty of seating inside and outside. We will be back to try more!“

“Pearl Thai in Benicia is like a culinary journey to Thailand with its flavorful main dishes that can satisfy that Thai food craving. The cozy atmosphere wraps you in a warm, mom-and-pop embrace, making it feel like a home away from home. However, when they are busy, it seems like they may need just an extra hand. Now, let's talk about the Tom Yum soup—it's the Thai food litmus test, right? This one had me doing a culinary double-take. It felt like it was playing hide-and-seek with tomatoes, and the spice level was on a mild vacation. I'm all for a flavor adventure, but this soup needed a bit more Thai kick to dance on my taste buds. But hey, the angel wings, the seafood plate, and the shrimp pad Thai? And other dishes were good. They were like a Thai food orchestra hitting all the right notes. So, despite the Tom Yum detour, Pearl Thai knows how to deliver a tasty symphony on your plate.“

“Koja has been in the area for a few years now and while it was okay when I first tried it, I've had a much better experience now with new management and their menu. They're known for their koja which is a bun made of crispy rice with your choice of protein in the middle. Their short rib is delicious, but more of a trendy type of food that eating once will satisfy. I was actually more blown away by their fried chicken sandwich which has a regular bun, but great fixings and seasonings that make it stand out.I also got ahi tuna poke which I wouldn't expect from this place, but it was fine compared to everything else. They also have great fries which they load up on sauce, toppings, and meat depending which one you get.The service is always straightforward here and they manage a ton of order from various apps. You can dine-in here and it's a casual atmosphere, but I find it better to get food to-go and eat somewhere nearby. Would recommend them to a friend who wants some tasty food with Asian flair“

“This is my type of place. It’s not fancy but sometimes that a clue to good food. In order a pork Banh Mi and a small cup of broth. Man that was delicious. Best part? $10 for a nice sized sandwich that fills you up. That’s so hard to find in the Bay Area now. Because the sandwich was $10 for that Banh Mi it makes ordering a side even more easy on the wallet. Next time I’ll go for the pho!“

“First time diners. Loved the food, ambience and attitude. Was take-out but we wished we could have dined in. Such a sweet environment! We had the chicken pad Thai, pumpkin curry with pork and corn fritters. The fritters got soggy by the time we got them home but we fixed them in the toaster oven. We WILL be back!“

“I have been here 1827383993x but then I never left a review this place is one of my favorite! very convenient when you are on the go. Pricey for a decent size for onigiri however it is full of toppings. I can't complain. It is always made fresh so that is a bug thumbs up for me.You are able to order by the kiosk and not allowed inside. What sucks is it gets really cold Berkeley. Pandemic is over so I am sure you guys can let people in so they can sit while waiting for the order.“

“Food was pretty tasty. Prices a bit inflated, overall service was speedy. Spoke to owner, he was super nice, told me they are opening another location next to downtown Pinole. I tried the vermicelli bowl- pretty good. Thought my egg roll looked more like a lumpia- lol. The kid ordered the tofu banh mi- not for me. I need my meat. I also ordered the shrimp roll- my fave- it was ok. They made the eat in area a lot smaller than previous owner. Ambiance was chill“
