I always get the original banh no with the pate. Soo good with the freshnwss of the herbs and acidity and sweetness of the pickled carrots and diakon.

The beef pho with 3 kinds of beef is warm and hearty. Their broth is clear and so flavorful.

“I got the gan-jang beef bowl for $16.53 after tax. I think the beef flavor was good, but the beef texture itself was inconsistent. There were tender/fatty portions, but parts of the beef were quite tough & hard to chew. It came with a soft boiled egg, rice, sesame, and seaweed flakes.

They charge $2.50 extra for kimchi. I feel like if you order the meal without kimchi, it lacks veggies & something to help you finish the rice. If you were to compare that experience to sit-down korean restaurants with free kimchi/banchan, it’s stingier. I would feel better paying this price if it came with kimchi, which seems like a necessary part of the meal.

The owner was nice enough to offer me extra beef/free kimchi as a one-time service, and I took him up on that.“

As soon as we walked in, the lady who took our order greeted us with a warm welcome and helped us feel right at home. She was quick, polite, and made the whole experience feel personal. The place had a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a casual and relaxing couple’s lunch.

Restaurants in Thailand don’t make a Pad Thai as delicious as the Pad Thai at Bua Luang—believe us, we have tried Pad Thai all over Thailand and we still longed for the Pad Thai at Bua Luang. The chef at this restaurant is a culinary master!

Not only are the dishes at this restaurant superb, the atmosphere is serene and delightful. The indoor space is clean, cozy, and modern with soft old-world touches and whimsical lighting. The ambiance music is very pleasant. It’s not too loud, and it’s easy to talk with and hear others in your party. If you choose to dine outside, you are greeted by the most beautiful outdoor seating area on all of Solano Avenue. The space is gorgeous and inviting. “My dad was craving shrimp fried rice so I was searching in a place in Vallejo for take out and thought I’d try 88 baobao’s. I called in and it was easy to place an order. I ordered shrimp fried rice, sauteed green beans, popcorn chicken, and a side of cucumbers. My order was ready in 10-15 mins for pick up. Service was quick. This was my first time ordering from this location, I didn’t even order any baos sio mai or dumplings but I tried them at other locations. They have indoor seating and the food has huge portions to serve lots of people and last for multiple meals. Located in the Gateway Plaza across from Vallejo Costco, so there’s plenty of parking. Located next to Ulta and quickly.“
