“I have been here about 3 times now. The bar tenders are friendly, and the general vibe is welcoming. Every time I have gone, I have enjoyed the music choices. There are 2 floors with a bar on each floor and a very nice patio. They have pool tables on both levels as well. My favorite part of the venue is the big stone fireplace. It's a cool feature.“

“What an interesting concept…. It amounts to a self serve credit card for beer. Great variety, pour a taste, try another…….what fun! The staff was quite lovely, attentive as well. The menu includes all manner of options although I went for the beer. The pizza was very tasty, aromatic, so two thumbs for the ‘za but can’t say much more than that for food. Atmosphere was dark, club-like, so not the place for bright and airy (but we’re talking beer drinking here so….. who cares!)“

“You have to go at least once. I like the staff and the bar is close to the water with good outdoor seating available. They have bar food but have a good dinner as well. During the warmer months, they had outdoor music on Sunday's, but the owner was talking about getting some full-time entrainment at some point.

“Popped in for lunch to check out the newly opened H&T and loved it. The brisket was delicious with a side of Vaquero beans that packed plenty of flavor as well. I could see the bar is well stocked with a great selection of spirits as well as a bunch of quality local beers on tap. Points as well for having a quality N/A offering. I received fast and very friendly service. Looking fwd to visiting again soon and wish this new business the best of luck as it was obvious that plenty of heart & soul is invested at heads & tails.“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... Sausage . with pastas spinach mashed potatoes green peppers it was all just so good. I totally recommend“

“It was my first time to this iconic venue. I saw one of my all-time favorite bands play, Steel Pole Bathtub with the Antler Family opening. This is a quaint little venue and people come from all over the Bay Area. It's also run by all women. It's also not far from the BART station.“

We had to keep tracking down the waiter for our hot water for the tea, box for take away, etc. Inattentive. The staff also seemed unhappy or dissatisfied with their jobs. They do have an AMI juke box which you can use with the app but note that people really utilize priority play here so be ready to spend the 5 credits if you want to hear your song choices. Once I went during a very busy time and the service was slower than I’d anticipated, but Jack was really helpful in making sure I go the service I deserved and was really gracious when my order was messed up. “First time stopping by here after work. I started at the bar to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers and then moved on to a table with friends. The bartender and server at the table were great. The atmosphere inside was very chill, not too crowded, and had people from every walk of life. I would definitely be coming back. My only thing was the chicken wings I ordered were supposed to be salt and pepper but came out with little to no seasoning. I did try the fries, and they were decent.“
