Love the outdoor patio especially on a warm night. We had a waiter that was friendly and conversational. Was so sad to know this place is closing. “I stumbled upon Coucou on Resy and decided to check it out for happy hour and I’m so glad I did. I went with a friend who’s a chef (I’m a foodie myself), and we were both blown away. The apps and drinks were outstanding, with flavors and presentation that went far beyond what you typically expect at happy hour.

The happy hour menu is easily one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. For $33, you get three items, which is a fantastic deal. Portions are generous too, they definitely don’t skimp on the apps, making it perfect for two people to share.

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“Chef Gary Menes works a miracle in his three person kitchen where you sit at the counter and watch the meal evolve. Be aware that there is an only one seating at the counter and that all diners your evening must be present to begin the meal. The restaurant only seats 11 max per night and is located in the historic Hotel Normandie in K-town. Each course is beautifully plated and although all gourmet vegetarian inspired, the beef substitution was amazing. The wine pairings with each course inspired. Amazing, memorable meal!“

“Our Sunday night takeout meal of Roasted Chicken and Cheese, corn and bacon macaroni gratin was delicious. Paired with a nice French white wine, it was almost as good as eating at the restaurant. Looking forward to future offerings.“

“I recently tried the pizza at Bonaparte Bistro, and I have to say it was one of the best I've had in a while! From the first bite, it was clear that they use top-quality ingredients and a lot of care in crafting their pizzas. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right thickness – not too thin, not too doughy.

The sauce was rich and flavorful, with a hint of herbs that didn’t overpower the fresh tomato taste. They clearly know how to balance the sauce-to-cheese ratio, because every bite had the perfect amount of both. As for the toppings, they were fresh, generous, and well distributed.

The service was fantastic too—our pizza arrived hot and right on time, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s rare to find a place that nails every aspect, but really impressed me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a satisfying and delicious pizza experience!

“Last night, I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was my first time eating here, but it was AMAZING! I love Italian food and the best part is it was authentic! Adrien and Sacha (the owners), were sooo helpful and friendly. I LOVED their French accent! They were also very patient with us since we were a pretty big group (and loud). The ambience felt like I was in Paris, lighting not too dark, but not too bright. Very romantic! I LOVE that they are child and stroller friendly. Most restaurants won’t accommodate having a stroller which can be frustrating. I will definitely come here again for a date night with my hubby! Highly recommend!!!!“

The only negative was unfortunately there was a party of six young ladies who were very loud. Normally that wouldn't bother us, but my mom is 99 and it was a lot for her. we will certainly be back.“
