“Wow!!! Little pricey but worth every penny! One of the best sandwich I had in a very long time. I mean, the store looked so so, the interior was ok, the exterior was ok... wasn't expecting much... but oh boy was I wrong! Had the pastrami and it was amazing, I live two hours away from this place and I will definitely go back!“
“Very good pastrami dip, from the videos I thought it would be more stacked but it was fine, nice pickle slice with order, we also got a brisket sandwich, my father complained it was very greasy but had a great flavor, if I ever come back I will try the pastrami on rye it looked wonderful ✌️“
“What a neighborhood gem! A great little store with a good deli counter, a nice selection of candy and basic grocery items. It's got a nice relaxed vibe, friendly staff and a beautiful back patio and a pizza oven setup! Will definitely be coming back with friends for pizza night.“
“Betty and her team catered a very special dinner at my house and then a pool party / brunch the next day. This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. The themed menu and decor were the literal talk of the party and all my friends are following up asking for her contact info. Simply fanstastic.“
“Absolutely incredible!! Mark made us feel so special for our first time here. The food was delicious - excellent vegan tofu sandwich (a take on a banh me) and really good carrot dish. Everything super fresh and friendly and delicious. Also excellent shrubs that aren’t too “
“One of the best hot chicken joints in LA and iv tried them all, the chicken is so fresh, tender n juicy you just want more n more. Staff is very friendly, it's a family owned and operated business and you can tell they really care about the food and the service. If your lucky you'll run into the cutest little girl taking orders, literally made my night. Will be back soon!“
“We discovered Monroe Place about six months ago but have been back about six times. It's not close to our home but it's a favorite and worth the drive. We tried most of the sandwiches and like them all (most of the sandwich offerings have a meat version and a similarly made but vegetarian version). The bread type for each sandwich is specified by the restaurant. It sounds a bit restrictive but works out well. The potato chips are excellent and the drinks are distinctive and tasty (I like the cardamon iced tea and my wife likes the cucumber mint lemonade). The sandwiches are good sized. There are a lot of dining options in our area but this is our go-to sandwich option.“
“One of the best kept secrets of the neighborhood. The flavors are incredible, the quality of the ingredients unmatched. The hash browns in the morning are the best I’ve had. The bagels on the breakfast sandwiches are fresh and good but the buttermilk biscuits are perfection (and I’m from the south). The chicken parm sandwich is delish.“
“Based on the perfection of the "WEHO" sandwich I had today, I'm giving this spot a solid 5 stars! This turkey sando with avocado was made to order with a pressed panini style bread which totally worked, packed with fresh ingredients, and not skimping on the boars head turkey. Proportions were spot on, the gentleman behind the counter could not have been friendlier, and scored a parking spot right in front. This spot is a win for me, can't wait to come back for more!“
“The staff are super friendly and accommodating! I asked for the Banh mi op la— the basic egg banh mi with sambal. However I didn’t expect to get a deconstructed banh mi! It was a funny mishap. All of the ingredients are super fresh and yummy (some assembly is required). Definitely wanna go back and try out the lemongrass tofu!“
“I definitely recommend. This place makes me happy every time I receive my order. I usually have it delivered and it's perfect every-time. The food tastes amazing. When you go into the store it's even better because the staff is polite and welcoming and accommodating.“
“I've passed the sandwich, place a couple of times before I finally placed an order for pick up because there's usually a crowd waiting inside when I passed by and I wanted to avoid that long wait. So I placed an order for three sandwiches for me and my department for pick up more than an hour in advance. When I get there, they seem busy, and I let them know that I am picking up an order that I placed online and it took them only a moment to find my order and tell me that it was gonna be another 15 minutes til it was ready. So I wait on one of the seats outside 15 minutes and then go back inside, and my order isn't bagged yet. As I'm waiting, someone else comes up because she had called a correction in to her online order. Yes, this review is a bit tedious, but that's what it was like to get my sandwiches which were delicious by the way. Short story long, order in advance and show up 20 minutes late.“
“Ambiance: pretty straightforward shop, grab and go meal, nice, clean, and quiet. I went midday, and there weren't many people inside.Service: They were extremely kind and helpful, made great suggestions, and told me about their most popular items.Food: I already had my mind made up when I went, so i knew i would get the chicken salad sandwich, but it ended up tasting more like a bbq chicken sandwich to me which was good and very flavorful. Unfortunately, it was not a filling sandwich, and I ended up having to find something else to eat, which was disappointing because the meal was not cheap. Overall, I would try it again, just to get what they're known for.“
“Amazing deli sandwich next to LAX makes a great spot to come to if you're waiting for a flight service was amazing and the spaghetti was also very tasty. Great vegetarian sandwich overly stuffed you will not be hungry whatsoever.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwich is really good and the pasta works for“
“I've lived in the South Bay all my life and never knew this place existed, sort of a little hidden jem. I had the infamous Matzo Ball soup. The broth and soup itself was delicious! The Matzo ball didn't have much flavor, and I found the texture hard to stomach. I also had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries. The fries were perfectly crunchy and unsalted. The sandwich was amazing, and the bread is what made it. It had some sort of fennel seed. Service was fair but prices were too high, in my opinion.“
“Food was great, server was amazing, little bit on a small size so if u come late you will have to wait. Only complaint would be meat being not enough salty but thats personal preferenc, so your milage may very. Will def come back... oh n price is good.Parking: Right next to the building“
“I walked past at first, then came back, and man, am I glad I did. Wow! They were busy. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available and both were quite full. A very large line, but that was just those waiting for their order. I'm going to be honest, I thought the wait would be astounding but it took less than 15mins from ordering to being handed my bag. I got a large Rueben sandwich. They also come in regular, getting a large may have been a mistake. It's huge. I also ordered a double decker, they let you choose. Single or double. Curses free will. I also got a bag of peppercinis, was expecting a smaller bag, but again that didn't happen. I also got a caramel milkshake which was absolutely phenomenal. Finished it minutes it was so good. Would definitely recommend this as a takeout or dine in spot. Great food.“
“We love the Bahn Mi sandwiches, esp breakfast. A big factor of a good sandwich is the bread, and Lokal knows it - we asked if they'd sell the bread to us, but alas the cannot.! Lattes and cappuccinos are delish too.Their breakfast potatoes are so good. Slices of potatoes, sort of sautéed.Indoor and outdoor seating.Only negative things: Sometimes it's just too chilly inside when its cold or rainy outside. And, If you need the restroom, must go to the Indonesian restaurant next door. Again if it's raining and chilly , this can be uncomfortable.“
“I ordered a very large group order to go for a corporate picnic at the Getty and I had the BEST experience! I highly recommend using their group order feature. It was super easy to order and when I arrived they were beyond friendly and even let me know they would put my order out earlier than my time frame since I was already there. They packaged it so nicely and the items already had the recipients names on them. I LOVE this Mendocino! Highly recommend working with them!“
“Great vibe. Perfect place for a high quality pre-made sandwich on fresh bread, a great cup of a coffee, and nice atmosphere to hang out in. Happened to sit near the business owner who has a fantastic outlook on their business. I appreciate the dedication to the staff and the customers. Highly recommend.“
“This place was great! When we first walked in the guys at the counter were super friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Fat Bodega because my husband I never got up to Harlem during our trip to NYC. This sandwich did not disappoint! I could only eat half it was so big. We dined in. There was a TV with an NBA game on and they had east coast hip hop playing. Will definitely be back. The Biggie mural on the side of the building was my favorite part. ❤️“
“V Cafe on Melrose is a perfect lunch spot nestled conveniently beside the Hollywood Improv. From the warm and attentive staff who know their customers by name to the mouthwatering G.C.A. sandwich that could easily be enjoyed daily without losing its appeal, this place is a true gem. The menu offers a wide range of healthy and delectable options, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and an evident passion for excellence. The ambiance is trendy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and savor every bite. Trust me, a visit to V Cafe will leave you craving more and eager to return for another personalized lunch experience.“
“Just about everything here is made from scratch on site. The bread and pastries, the pasta, and the gelato!Place is like a tiny market and a little Rome restaurant combined. The sandwiches are amazing because the bread and the Italian meats are so good. Anything with a good burrata/brie, prosciutto, and baguette is going to be a winner.Good coffee too.“
“Patrick has the Best service ever compared to other locations they’re always welcoming making conversation my sub was great as well the bacon was perfect, these guys are well trained and need a raise!!! I’ll be making the extra drive from miracle mile just to this “
“Nice view. Service is good.I had brisket and bacon. However, it seems the bacon was heated too quickly, resulting in some charred bits. The overpowering taste of the burned bacon dominated my sandwich. After removing the bacon, the sandwich was pretty good.“
“I just love the service at this particular location. Every time I am craving a quality sandwich and want something healthy, Mendocino Farms is the spot for me. I'm obsessed with the not so fried chicken sandwich dipped in the BBQ sauce with a side of basil pesto shells. Delicious! They really need to make this particular side dish permanent and not seasonal. I tried the spicy dijon potato salad and I would say it's a hit too, it does have a small kick to it though. I will occasionally get the Peruvian steak if I do want a beef sandwich. Food is always consistent whether I get it on the apps or dine in. Check this place out! One hour free parking with validation.“
“The food here is always so good, fresh, and juicy sandwiches. I love the freshly made lemonades mixed with other essential fruits to make it crisp. Don't let the seating from the outside fool you. There's plenty of seating inside and in the back. Worth sitting down and eating instead of grabbing a lunch and being on the go. Give yourself a break. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat in Santa Monica and as soon as we saw Mendocino farms, we both said... Even though it's a chain the restaurant, it's a good one. And it is a good one. Prices are reasonable. I got the chicken caprese sandwich And they doused it with balsamic vinegar which made it so juicy. They are service dog friendly. I appreciate that. During lunch hours, they should have more cashiers, or more help in general. I felt the 15 minute line to place my order was a bit long for lunch hour, I went at 1:00 p.m., and then we waited another 15 minutes for our sandwiches to come out. It's probably better to place your order online, go in and pick it up, then sit down and eat it. It's probably more efficient. However, I like having the offline experience. I kind of like having the human interaction. But the staff was friendly. It was just slow.“
“I never do reviews but after tasting Quiznos for the first time, I'd have to say it's an out of the world experience and I'm not exaggerating but probably one of the best subs I have had in my entire life, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, the employees were nice and patiently waited for me to pick out what I wanted in my sub.“
“I've gotten around 12 sandwiches in the past month. The app makes mistakes and glitches atleast the android version that I use on Samsung 22+. So order from app and include instructions incase your choices don't show properly. If the store makes a mistake and you inform them by review or in person they fix it. At first my order was screwed up a few times, but after that they very rarely made a mistake. Also know that if you order early AM it will be ready fast but expect stale bread. If I order afternoon the bread is better but it's the lunch rush so it might be delayed a little or the order might have a mistake because it's rushed.“
“I had the Godfather it's the first sandwich listed, and it was delicious! My homie Hull,J, took me here. I drove from Palm Springs to his pad in Downey, and he kept talking about it. It's all about the bread! every 20 minutes fresh bread. So we made the trek he got the turkey and wished he had gotten the Godfather! Good times, great food, bread, and location. Thanks guys ??Parking: Be patient, I know that you are hungry, Stay off device ?and be respectful to others, 1❤️“
“Ordered sandwich delivery from Caviar for my out of town client and myself during a work meeting. I ordered the turkey sandwich and he got the blt. He said it was the best sandwich he’s had in a long time. My turkey sandwich was really really good too. The bread, thin slices of red onion, havarti cheese, sweet ripe tomato and what seemed like high quality turkey meat — it was better than I expected. Portions were good as well. Will def be ordering from here again! Thank you again! ?“
“The sandwiches were huge! We ordered the Beast Mode, Kids Turkey and Cheese and Madison Bumgarner. We ordered it through Grubhub due to us being in the area at a hotel in a layover so the sandwiches were a little pricey. The Mountain Dew we ordered was not delivered; I’m not too sure of that was due to Ike’s not putting it in the bag or the delivery driver taking it.Overall great experience and good food.“
“I recently visited Café Brio and I was incredibly impressed by the friendly staff and delicious food. Among the newly emerged cafes, Café Brio has become one of my favorite places.Firstly, I was delighted by the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff. During my visit, the staff members always greeted me with smiles and provided excellent service. They were helpful in guiding me through the ordering process and answering any questions I had about the menu. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident, and it contributed to a pleasant experience.Secondly, the quality of the food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the dishes I ordered. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was visually appealing. The menu offered a diverse range of options, catering to different preferences. Whether it was a savory dish or a refreshing beverage, each item I tried exceeded my expectations.Overall, Café Brio left a lasting impression on me with its friendly staff and delectable food. It is undoubtedly a gem among the recent additions to the café scene. I highly recommend visiting Café Brio for a memorable culinary experience in Los Angeles.“
“Me & my wife are coming all the way from South Jersey. This is probably my new favorite place to eat when I come here. Good music bumping, atmosphere is awesome, the food is great. Fully intend on coming back to the West Coast soon for some type of a fishing trip ??“
“Just got out of this location and I was a big jerk and came in ten mins before closing that's my bad and I'm truly so sorry I hate doing that but Google says you guys close at 9:30! Please fix that! They close at 9pm at least on sundays Dirk and Jake went out of their way to make us some delicious sandwiches and even made one with fried chicken which I know is definitely a cringe order on our part because of the closing time. Again truly sorry for being that customer, we appreciate Ike's so much I have gone many times in SF but this location specifically KILLS it every time sandwich wise and customer service wise. Please give the staff here a raise it's always an awesome experience!“
“Back again for more brunch! This time we tried the Ogden and the Genesse, both delicious! The Ogden is so rich and the hollandaise has this touch of a citrus zest in it that's soooo good! Both are super filling, especially the Ogden. I'm super happy that they're using reusable metal cups for water now and serving their fruit in a small paper boat instead of plastic! Amazing! The guy at the register is STILL great, so welcoming and so helpful. I'm enjoying this spot more and more every time I come!“
“Sandwich place by the mall. I loved the bread and the drizzle was particularly sweet and tasty. The personnel is also very nice and I like that they have a closed off outdoor seating area.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: The mall has parking so you can just do that. There's some spots on the street but they're time limited.“
“Went here to grab my fry loving toddler niece some food. Wonderful customer service & made to order fresh food. Fries were massive, fresh, & tasty Kids meal $5-$6 Fries $3.50 Fully staffed- 4 to 5 employees on a busy lunch hour No wonder there was a crowd here & not at the other spots in the food court. My niece loves the fries too.“
“The owners were two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The location is incredible. The cafe is beautiful and all of the drinks and eats were delicious! I was lucky enough to attend their “Ladies Night” event one evening and I had the best time I’ve had in a long time. There was a DJ, comedians and bites and drinks all night. I can’t wait to visit again!!“
“Tried this place with my mom today for the first time after passing this place the past 4 years lol. Parking was easy at 2pm, gentleman that assisted us was very courteous. I had the sweet November with fries she had the harvest nut with side salad and WOWWWWW mouth watering just full of flavor, you can tell the ingredients are high quality. The size was perfect - filled me up So delicious !! Definitely will be a new to go to spotVegetarian options: Vegan options“
“Lee’s Sandwiches are very tasty. If you’re looking for a tasty Banh Mi, Vietnamese Coffee or Pastry you’ll find them at Lee’s! Don’t forget to pick up some Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls and other treats they’re all good. The service is always speedy and the staff are very friendly. The inside of this cafe is nice and organized and full of delightful treats ready for your next meal. There is limited parking in front, but they share a big lot off to the side.“
“Finally got a sandwich from this place and it did not disappoint at all! I ordered the West Coast Burger and couldn't believe how much I loved it. Never had an egg on my burger, and it was definitely a great surprise! This place is definitely going to be a regular on my visits out to UCLA!!! OUTSTANDING!!!“
“Came here with a friend for my birthday and we got two of the plates which was absolutely plenty of food and everything was delicious! There are seats inside and outside and the service is quick and easy. A great fast casual option, I love how much middle eastern food is in this area! Even amongst other options, Attari sandwich shop seems like a place that folks come back to as regulars.“
“Best meatball sandwich I've ever had! It was huge and tasted great. Kinda messy but that's alright, I'm getting my money's worth if it's literally overflowing. Service was quick and they brought the sandwich right out to my table. A few spots to sit inside and out.“
“Firehouse Subs are some of my favorite destinations for sub sandwiches and for me, it's almost always the meatball sandwich. I think the reason is it's something that brings back fond memories of growing up and loving them as a kid. My aunt made a mean meatball grinder. One time I ate 3 of them in one sitting, something my belly regretted for the next couple of hours. The concept here is counter-served fresh ingredient offerings made-to-order by a friendly staff and the result is delicious consumable food. Just from experience, some of the most popular items on the menu include the Italian Sub, the Club on a Sub, and the Firehouse Meatball Sub. They also offer a variety of sides, such as mac and cheese, chips, and cookies. Get a combo and save. Oh, and the fountain drinks are all the same price no matter which size you choose. They cover a whole range of sauces from mild to very hot. You can also add a variety of sauces to your subs, including Firehouse Original, Sweet & Spicy BBQ, and Honey Mustard. They offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options.Super friendly, clean, and located near the intersection of Slauson Ave and Crenshaw Blvd.“

“Asian Chicken Salad: 2/5Skip it. Anyone can make this at home. Nothing special.Ultimate Chicken Sandwich on Ciabatta: 4/5The bread was crunchy and all the fixings inside made for a great tasting sandwich. I would reorder this any day.The staff here are very friendly. The order came out quick. Great spot overall. I'll be coming back often.“
““Taste 100 years of experience”Since 1917, this is a small restaurant in the LA Farmer's Market that is now 102 years old. Farmer's Market, one of LA's landmarks, opened in 1934, and according to information on the Farmer's Market website, the market's first restaurant was Meggy's Kitchen. Considering that the restaurant started in 1917, it appears that it was relocated or officially opened after being operated elsewhere. Anyway, it was amazing to see a restaurant that has been around for 100 years right in front of me.When you enter the Farmer's Market, the restaurant with the longest line is the Brazilian BBQ Restaurant, and Meggis is so popular that it has the second longest line.#menuThe most famous dish in this house is <Hand Carved Meat>. In particular, salt-cured beef such as Corned Beef (pronounced corned beef or corned beef), Roast Ham, and Turley Breast are famous. We make plates or sandwiches with these meats. They also serve enchilada plates such as enchiladas and tamales.A variety of delicious American classic side dishes are also provided, so the range of food is quite wide. The hot dog looks delicious too.#Corned_BeefIt refers to whole beef that has been salt-cured, and it is expressed as corn because it contains large chunks of rock salt, peppercorns, and curing agent. Corned beef is whole beef that has been cured with these ingredients added to the surface. The difference between Corned Beef and Pastrami is that if it is smoke-cured, it becomes Corned Beef, and if it is smoked again, it becomes Pastrami. So, Pastrami has a little more flavor, but Corned Beef is more tender. It has been used since the 17th century, but it is said to have been used more to procure food, especially during World Wars 1 and 2, and the recipe was further developed.#Rueben_SandwichIt's one of my favorite sandwiches. It's basically made with a large amount of Corned Beef, and Swiss cheese and sourcraft add flavor. The bread is delicious only when you use Rye Bread, and it's done when you grill it at the end.The taste of the Reuben is completed by well-made Corned Beef, but the refreshing sourcraft adds flavor accents and texture.Cheese must be light Swiss cheese to taste good. The sweetness of oat bread is also an important element that cannot be left out.I couldn't eat a delicious Reuben sandwich because I couldn't find proper Corned Beef in Korea. (There are a few places these days, but they are still childish compared to here.) I was able to properly resolve my resentment here.First of all, the power of hand carving is amazing. The sight of warm whole meat cut into thick slices and placed right on top of the bread, rather than paper-thin machine carving deli slices, makes your mouth water. The thickness of about 0.7cm of meat is piled up in several layers, and the feeling of fullness in the mouth that the soft meat gives is indescribable. The amount of sourcraft was adequate, but the flavor of Swiss cheese was a bit disappointing. (I wish I could add one more piece...) In particular, the Corned Beef here has a soft texture and mild salty taste that makes it less repulsive compared to other places.A taste perfect for Koreans!#Hot_DogAnother main menu item at this restaurant is hot dogs. There are quite a few different types of hot dogs, and I ordered one topped with sourcraft, which my wife likes. The cracking of the sausage was also good, and the taste was quite mild, compared to other sloppy hot dogs that only emphasize the saltiness. The thickness of the sausage was quite thick and it gave me a sense of abundance, so I ate it more satisfactorily than the famous pink hot dog.#horseradishHorseradish is a must-have dish at this restaurant. Raw vegetables are ground and processed properly, so the texture is similar to raw horseradish, but the taste is a bit more refined. If you eat it together with the Reuben sandwich, it cuts down on the greasiness and becomes the center of the taste.I think it's horseradish in Western cuisine and wasaba in Japanese cuisin“
“Ordered a take out from Ike's sandwich for the first time in my life and was pleasantly surprise. I ordered chicken tenders from kids menu, It's not a snow flake (tuna) and Arash makazi (friend chicken) sandwiches. All were tasty, but a little bit overflown with dressing. I wish the bread was fresher though. The service is top notch:friendly and professional. There are a few reasonably clean seating areas inside and out.“
“Dear friends; I want to thank you all for your constant support and endless generosity!I wanted to say goodbye properly to each one of you, but I only had three weeks to do so. Next time we meet I'll tell you the whole story of why I had to leave.I've been away for a couple days now, but once I know where I'm heading, I'll proceed to delete this post and keep you updated with my whereabouts.“
