“Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.”
“What !!!!!! All the way around excellent ? Bartender Nelson was the greatest., super great service, drinks delicious, pizza delicious ? we just loved it, we do not need to go all the way to LA to be in a trendy beautiful looking place like this. Thank you guys we will be back .”
“The food, service and staff are amazing. We absolutely love Cachanilla's.”

“The boba is good. I've only tried the veggie sandwich, and they put waaayyy too much hummus. The bread and other toppings were good. My boyfriend loves the pastrami sandwich.”

“Visited here when we were visiting Dr Stranges record store. The shop front can be a little hard to see as it doesn’t have a sign. Keep an eye out for the beauty school. It’s right beside that! On the street with several antique stores, we managed to get parked right opposite. My partner and I shared some fish tacos and a Philly cheese steak. Both were fantastic! Prices are really good. The staff were lovely, very friendly to everyone who came in. The whole place had a great community feel to it. Would highly recommend. Also check the opening hours on Google as the owner stated they were open later but happy cow had not updated.”
“Thank you to my new friends at The Brick; Nader, Maritza, Rhiana, Mo. You guys are TRULY the epitome of kind and generous hosts. Your selection is generous. Your preparation of your delicious food items are EXCEPTIONAL. Thanks you very much for the warm hospitality every time my daughter and I enjoy our visit there. I look forward to bringing our friends to introduce the GEM of Pomona.
Today his our second visit (of many more visits to come). I look forward to bringing our friends to introduce the GEM of Pomona.”
“Great food, chicken, smash burger, Mac and cheese. Delicious!!!! I review a lot of spots and this one for sure is a hidden gem. When I want the best and want to impress others, I’m come here. Best of all, it’s the service! Service is what should be for every restaurant, they talk to you and make sure enjoy your meal.”
“Thankfully I remembered to take a picture 1st lol. Nevertheless im gone keep it simple the rating was too good to be false and my 1st bite didn't disappoint. I will definitely be returning to experience their other items on the menu. Notice I said experience and not 'try' it is truly that good.”
“I love how tasty their food is. I had the Lafta wrap and a Kafta plate. The way I devoured it all was insane. The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. I absolutely loved this place and I loo forward to coming back!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp right by the entrance!”
“I just ordered take out and the food was super delicious! I’ve been looking for this kind of spicy and numbing noodles and just flavor for a long time as my students always bring me stuff like this but I can’t find it any Chinese places around. Highly recommended!!”
“This is an awesome Indian place with fantastic portions of delicious food. Their samsos are crunch and fresh and a delightful indulgence. My family of three usually shares two three items combos and it's a hearty amount for all.
I have yet to have a bad meal here! It's always spectacular. Highly recommend.”
“I went there for Dueling Pianos and Dueling Burlesque and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. the Pianist was so funny and will recommend it to friends. The venue has easy parking and the service was fantastic. they have several rooms that are available for weddings and private events. I highly recommend this venue in Pomona”

“The food is very good only thing I didn't care for was the fried mac n cheese balls everything else was fantastic I recommend the brisket. Their was only two workers and they still gave great service. Our server Imani and the chef Daniel were awesome. Will be coming back”

“Every now and then I like to visit this place to get something to eat.
The food here has been amazing ever since I discovered the restaurant by a relative who brought others and I here.
Personally I think the tacos de asada really stand out from the rest of the other spots that I have tried around the area.”
“Everything was excellent!
We stopped by to support a local small business and everything was amazing.
The owners are still locals and incredibly nice. We'll be making this a regular stop for our office lunches!”
“This is a really delicious place to eat on campus. I am really looking forward to the opening. The poke here is really good. I like the bowl option because I can pick one fish and as many toppings as I want. The toppings are unlimited. The boba is good too. I like the milk tea with boba and matcha option.Features: Since this is a college campus, it is required to wear a mask at all times except when eating. ”
“Had my Birthday dinner last week here. My husband took me for a surprised dinner at this place. We had sumptious, delightful food (kudos to the chef), loved its rusty-cozy ambiance, the overlooking view. Excellent overall even no complimentary..just kidding😉🙃😅😁 Highly recommended.”

“Today I called in a lunch order for me and my boss who is a little special and like all the available meat options in his fried rice. I headed over to pick up the food which was ready in a timely fashion and went back work. As we were eating the food in walks a worker from the restaurant because they forgot to put shrimp in his rice. The dedication to service required to drive over to us to drop it off without us calling really shows the care they provide to their customers. We will definitely be back!”
“Language barrier but not a big deal. No fountain drinks available. No ice tea available and if you want soup it goes fast! But that's because it's really good! They are very pricey at times but it can be worth it. Example: The bean and cheese burrito is really good but it's over priced for such small burrito.”
“Just a little drive thru spot, but I passed the vibe check and they hooked. This black girl from NYC up! The horchata was perfect, not too sweet! Tacos carnitas were the best I've had in a looonnnngg time, and the two guys who helped me were really nice ?. Thanks Los Cuates!”

“Needed a quick bite in between appointments and Taqueria El Jefe served my needs. I had their carne asada tacos and they were delicious! Very reminiscent of street tacos down to the sliced radishes. Good size portion and you can’t beat the prize. They earned a return visit!”
“I give 4 stars overall because my family loves the drinks and snacks there, and I like the prices. However I took off one star for customer service. It's been the same two ladies--one older and one younger--there the last few times we've been in there. Not very friendly, barely audible in greeting us or taking our order. The last couple times we walked in and it was like we were interrupting their conversation to give them our order. I don't know what's up, but it doesn't seem like they want to be there, or at least they aren't interested in good customer service.”
“Came with my family for all you can eat brunch on a Sunday. It was all they had available so I got it despite $40 per person. Once we got food, we realized it was very worth it. They had pozole, carne en su jugo, aguachiles, Chile relleno, enchiladas, and more. Chilaquiles, eggs, and Tortillas made to order. Mimosas as well. Coming back again.”
“The food is amazing ,the hangar steak is great and the mussels are to die ! It's a nice ambience ,very romantic ,a little too dark . My only gripe are the prices ,the portions are tiny and most entrees upwards of 30 dollars ,and the waiters expect a hefty tip ,so not sure it's worth the money .”
“I've always loved this spot. Super reasonable in price and I love the fried cauliflower, falafel and hummum. Awesome low-key local spot. Love you guys.”

“Good atmosphere. Also the music. The kareoke. Ready for everyone who masters this art. Good atmosphere and service.
Parking: Little parking and sometimes difficult to find. But if you find.”
“Oh. My. Goodness! So, so yummy! The place is spotless & the food is excellent! So many choices - lots of shellfish, dungeness AND snow crab, sushi & sashimi, duck, prime rib, Korean favorites - all of it absolutely wonderful! Given the variety of foods, I can't imagine they're making much profit, even though the place is very busy. Given the fact that a meal at a drive through can run $17, it blows my mind that this place is charging $20 for all you can eat.
One note: peruse the entire floor before committing. If you stop when you think you've reached the desserts, you'll miss out on the bao, sushi & snow crab! They're on the far end of the room.
I highly recommend this place. I had a gastric bypass years ago & still can't eat much, but even the amount of food I consume exceeds the price. We will absolutely be back, over & over again.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Thank you, personally from my heart for the fast service and last minute order gallon of potato salad, it was super good !! Compliments from others who at the bacwurst barbecue went well, were from Wisconsin, yum! Again thank you cousin Janet🤩 I will Definitely put the word out !”
“Fantastic, in today's world when you seem to "pay more for less" this place does not skip on the fish at all. Many sushi places will try to give you more rice than sushi, not this place. One of best bang for your buck I have seen in the greater Los Angeles area. Nice cozy family run restaurant good atmosphere and good service”
“Lucky to find this hidden gem. Ok so the karaoke room was a bit much for me but the food and service was amazing. The shaking beef noodle was the best, and I’m already thinking about going back again the day after. The pho broth was great also. Will be back. Go support the local biz also!”
“Seafood Galore!!!
We had various types of ceviche and cucarachas (seasoned deep fried untreated shrimp)
Everything was incredible and the other Seafood dishes coming out of the kitchen looked just as delicious. Service was great. A great place to go and enjoy true mariscos. So many different dishes and we plan on going back soon. A wonderful experience!”
“A friend and I had the best Thanksgiving meal. We were seated in the patio on the most beautiful day! The service was great. The staff was very friendly and the manager even took the time to answer all our questions about the 5 acre farm on the property that suppliesd the kitchen with the vegetables picked just that morning for most of the gourmet dishes cooked up for the day. What a special treat it was to experience McKinley 's Grille for Thanksgiving 2021. Well be back for more!”

“The spicy shrimp dish from Lobster Now is absolutely delicious! Each shrimp is perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a rich, flavorful taste. The accompanying vegetables, such as celery, dried chili peppers, potatoes, and sesame seeds, not only add a variety of textures but also enhance the overall aroma and flavor. The potatoes absorb the rich seasonings, making every bite a delightful surprise. The seasonings are evenly distributed, permeating every ingredient, and each bite leaves you wanting more. I highly recommend this restaurant to all food lovers; it’s an unparalleled dining experience!”
“Been craving teriyaki bowls lately. Decided to stop in and try this place out. The portion was good. Tastes was good. Price was competitive. Place is decent. Would recommend if you crave teriyaki chicken and are in the area. They have plenty of options to choose from.”

“Something about Papa John's pizza just tastes better than most other chains. The dough, the meats and veggies just go together very well. They have your order ready when they say it's ready, I'm satisfied.”

“Pizza pirates is always amazing and goes above and beyond. We love their pizza and will forever be customers ♥️
Kid-friendliness: My kids love pizza pirates! They’re picky eaters and dislike other pizza chains. We don’t mind spending more than your typical $5 pizza to have the best in town!! 10/10 recommend!”
“Highly recommend kittys cakes! She made my wedding cake this week and I couldn't be happier with the result! It looks absolutely beautiful and was so moist and delicious. She was so kind and I am so greatful to her . All my guest loved the cake. Will definitely be ordering here again.”
“Very delicious every time the cabbage that comes with it is so delicious too it's not often that you find good quality pupusas with good cabbage as well never disappointed ! All flavors are so delicious and so flavorful and I can't forget how big they are for the price and if you think your little ones are picky try the bean and cheese my daughter my son and my nieces and nephews love them!! So fresh and consistent they will definitely have you going back 💯❣️”
“I came into lollicup today looking for a drink, but what I didn't know is I would find is love and a hint of lust. The employee who armed the register was so delicious i got nervous and rode away on my scooter. She saw me fall on the cement and loose two of my front teeth. Don't worry my grandma is getting veneers and i'll be back for my true love.”

“The best Vietnamese Restaurant in California. Even the fried rice was amazing, in fact the best I have ever had including restaurants in China and in Vietnam (I traveled there several times). I lived in Arcadia and Temple City and have visited many Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants, nothing can compare to the food in this place. The staff is also cute and friendly.”

“For the price, this place is pretty good with a wide variety of options for a fair price!
I went on Saturday when they opened at 11am. Plenty of parking in the plaza. The place was empty when we arrived, but all the food was ready! Price was $22.99 per person.
They have a wide selection of seafood, soup, meat, Chinese food, dessert etc. To be honest, the flavor is not amazing 5 star restaurant quality, but it’s all edible and clean. The seafood, sushi, soup, hot foods, and ice cream were all good. I think Panda Express Chinese food might taste better than theirs, but this is not bad.
The place is pretty neat and clean for a Chinese buffet. The staff were mostly good about taking away our plates. I didn’t get food poisoning, and left satisfied. I didn’t feel disappointed.
If you’re looking for a cheap spot to get a big meal in, this is the place for you. I think it’s worth the price!”

“They opened later than what the site said. People were waiting in the parking lot. Got some pan dulce. There was not much selection that morning. What was really good were the bolillos. The bolillos alone were worth getting up and waiting till they finally opened. I'll swing by again.”
