“Stopped by here today for their lunch special. The food had so much flavor, but the only thing I wish was different was the temperature of their soup. I love my soups piping hot especially on a rainy day and my soup was just warm, but not hot. I ordered their basil feel lunch special, my hubby ordered their garlic chicken special and my kids split their stir fry chicken lunch special. They all come with a side of rice, soup and a salad. The service was excellent. We ordered their mango with sticky rice for dessert, it was so yummy! The lady that waited on us didn't speak a lot of English, but good enough that we could communicate with her. The restaurant is small and it was a little busy today, but we still were able to get a comfortable booth. I think it was a good deal for all of the delicious food we got. We'll be back soon.“
“Great spot, minutes from the beach! They have an Amazing extensive menu! An easy walk from the Ventura Beach hotel! They even accommodated the vegetarian with several vegetarian rolls options! The tempura vegetable roll was the best. They also serve beer and wine. My Sauvignon Blanc paired perfectly with the heat of the wasabi! They have several options of Japanese beer! We also got the shishito peppers, edamame and the avocado bombs were a hit! I will absolutely be back the next time we are in town!Vegetarian options: There are several options to choose from! “Differently a hidden gem. I didn't expect much when I walked in, thinking it's just another trying to be Asian food. They closed at 6pm so we almost missed it..But I was sooooo wrong... They basically only have 3 things: steak, shrimp and chicken (well, and veggi). We had the Steak rice And hot garlic chicken noodle. They are both delicious but the steak is definitely much better than the chicken. Good portion for $10.95. lots of steak and they are tender and juicy. Spot on seasoning, sweet but also savory. Definitely will come back.“

I ordered the Sweet Heart rolls and found them delicious and filling. I ordered a Benito box to go. “i have been coming here for almost 2 decades LOL and when i say this is my ultimate comfort food, I!! am!!! not!! joking!!! ??ozeki noodle has been a long time establishment in vc serving some of the tastiest and warm japanese comfort food and i will always recommend ozeki to anyone stopping by.the original owners have moved on and retired (i luv them ?) but the food and recipes still stand to be the same and just as delicious.highly recommend, it’s a hole in the wall and now next to a nice milk tea shop as well, don’t miss out !“
“We came here because the bbq place we were recommended was closed. At first I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. But oh my. For $13 the lunch special is on the best deals ever. The food was being made right in front of you and the workers were so nice. The food was good and eating outside by the marina was so delightful. “R1: Crazy shrimp roll 7.5/10- Good mix of flavors- the popcorn shrimp was cold when its a deep fried shrimp, a little soggy as well. Could be 10x better if this was at least refried or fried fresh.- Do watch out for shrimp tails at the end of the rolls, I personally like them but some people dontR3: Great White Shark Roll 9/10- We ordered this twice, awesome mix of flavors- Garlic is freshly roasted and hot. Strong flavor- The Jalapeno gave a nice texture and flavor to the roll- A bite or two isnt too spicy but the spice does add up the more you eat- Overall highly recommendedR19: Volcano Roll 5/10- Lots of scallops on top of the roll but it just kinda rolled everywhere and its flavor didnt really blend with the roll itself. Scallops itself were good and the roll itself were good, we just didnt enjoy eating both in one bite.- Too much sauce, it made the roll soupy to where it would fall apart when you pick it up- Might need to change the plating of this dish because it does have potential. “The food was absolutely outstanding rolls were very fresh and chicken and spicy pork were tender and juicy. Meats were all perfectly seasoned. Bento box is great deal. Tempura was amazing and so was the california roll. Atmosphere was very traditional and felt like a miniature japan. Service was very very friendly and kind and welcoming. “We just started coming here. Really like the food a lot. Volcano roll is great, as is garlic albacore. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They loaded up a miso soup with extra tofu for my 3 year old who loves just the tofu out of the soup. It's a strange request that they had no trouble helping out with. My daughter chose Kibo as her reward for straight A's.“

“Decided to come here to celebrate my birthday. They do not take reservations but appreciate a call ahead for larger parties.The wait time for dinner was about 10 mins.Sushi was excellent as well as their appetizers! They have great pricing!They only have two waitresses on the floor so service isn't great. Food gets out quickly. If you need anything extra it takes a while to ask for.The main reason I'm not giving it a 5 out of 5 stars is because when we were seated they sprayed the table beside us with bleach and water to clean and that was not what I wanted to smell right before I eat. And again they don't have enough staff for the amount of people being served.“

I was disappointed to find no "real" crab of any kind on the menu. If I'm going to have crab in sushi it needs to be real or just avoid those rolls all together, which we did. “Came in on a Tuesday night and had great service and Sushi. My buddy, who really isn't a sushi guy like me and I had Albacore Delight, Albacore Lover roll, Hawaiian roll and the Jalisco roll. Every one of them was fresh and really good! Stuffed Jalapeño was great too. He is now hooked! Our server was the owner and he was on top of it the entire time. Will go back for sure when visiting .“
