“I tried to stop in here a month ago after seeing the great reviews. Unfortunately, they were closed, and I had to head to LA to catch a flight home. Well today was awesome!!! Greeted and seated. Menu and drink were delivered very quickly -- the restaurant was nearly full on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. I ordered spring rolls and Pho Ga. The spring roles were amazing -- tremendous flavor, everything fresh. Unique feature I had not seen before a length of spring onion sticking out one end made them almost look like a large popsicle. Very generous amount of shrimp and pork! The Pho Ga was even better and again huge severing. Just unbelievable flavors plenty of chicken. Everyone was busy but very attentive all the customer's needs. I'm for another 6 days will be stopping in for lunch again. Thank you to the whole team at Pho Saigon.“

We discovered Roxbury Deli & Grill while walking around Port Hueneme and are so glad we did! The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in a long time. We enjoyed dinner so much that we came back for breakfast the next morning before leaving town. Highly recommend this true local gem!“

“Only one word describes Seed Ranger…..WOW!!! First of all, they offer ANYTHING that conventional restaurants like Applebees, Chili’s, TGI Fridays can offer, and it’s all vegan! I have had wonderful comfort food before and I’m always happy when I can find it, but this place offers over 100 different items from breakfast to “shrimp” po boy sandwiches and it’s all made to order. The cafe is in one of the most out of the way locations off Johnson Road in Ventura, and it appears that they are the last surviving restaurant in what was once a thriving food court, so make your day and satisfy your appetite at Seed Ranger. “This place is all natural. I stumbled on this cute shop via instagram. The vibe makes you feel like you traveled to the caribbean and left california temporarily. There was a lady trying out samples of the juices while i was there and she couldnt stop talking about how good the santa rosa juice was. I highly recommend getting the dirty monkey smoothies. They offer acai bowls, juices, smoothies and cleanse programs. The employees are very sweet and kind. Free small parking lot. Reasonable prices. Dont forget to sign up for their reward programs as well.“

To top it off, I treated myself to their strawberry sourdough scone--absolutely amazing, especially paired with a good cup of coffee! Ronan, the manager, was exceptional as well. “Lure Fish House is one of my go-to happy hour spots. Happy hour runs Monday–Friday from 3:00–6:00 pm and Sunday from 11:30 am–5:00 , which is honestly elite timing.

First of all, the complimentary bread deserves its own shoutout. Warm, comforting, and dangerous in the best way.

I’m obsessed with their oyster bar, especially the Grassy Bar oysters and the charbroiled oysters. I always order the house-made chowder 50/50, it’s half Classic New England and half Veracruz fish chowder. It’s rich, flavorful, and truly the best of both worlds.

I’m a big fan of their shared plates, which is where Lure really shines. Favorites include the bacon cheddar biscuits with whipped honey goat cheese, crab cakes, and a classic Caesar salad that never disappoints. Everything is well-executed and perfect for sharing.

Their specialty cocktails are also worth ordering and pair well with the food, especially during happy hour.

The vibe is lively but not overwhelming, making it perfect for after-work drinks or a casual dinner with friends. I personally love sitting at the bar or oyster bar, it’s the best way to experience the space. Service has always been friendly and efficient,

I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. My only recommendation on the shake is that they need larger (circumference) straws. A regular straw is too narrow for this thick shake. “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! I have since been dragging people left and right there and recommending you guys because of what a great laid back family-friendly atmosphere it is.
