“VEGAN SUSHI! The BEST vegan sushi I have ever had in my life. You've gotta try the eel roll and the volcano roll. I don't know how they do it, but it's spot on to real sushi. The menu is 100% vegan, expansive, and offers everything from all-day breakfast to savory lunch and dinner options. Every item we tried (and we tried a LOT) was perfect. Tasted just like non-vegan food. Also their fries were bomb!

I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. “Went in on a Saturday for lunch with 3 people. Was able to be seated at a high top table straight away. Great vibe, friendly and quick service. We ordered dirty martinis and when we asked for more olive brine they happily obliged. We ordered fresh and broiled oysters to share as well as mussels abs lobster roll. All were fantastic! Even the bread with whipped butter was delightful! Loved this spot.“

The chia pudding was absolutely incredible—hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, with the perfect texture and flavor. On the other hand, the Power Up smoothie was a bit underwhelming, lacking the bold taste I was expecting (I added coffee to it). That said, the overall experience was great, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff - Kai especially- who clearly care about what they do. “If I could give this place 6 stars I would! This is my go to taco shop in Ventura. My only complaint is they're closed on Mondays and I almost always crave them that day. Other then the tacos they've got many other delicious dishes to choose from including menudo on the weekends in the morning. I highly recommend the pastor tacos! Family run and the service is always spot on. I like that if you go there often enough they're most likely going to start remembering you and what you order and those places are hard to find anymore.

“We stopped there for lunch. We made reservations as recommended but not sure if it was necessary because there was nobody else there when we got there just before noon but filled up after 12:30.

The atmosphere was wonderful sitting on a warm day in the patio. The server was very attentive to our needs.

This is a place dedicated to SLOW FOOD. Allow at least 1 hour for lunch, at least 1.5 hours if you are having a dessert.

Food was extremely well prepared and you can taste the difference in quality and careful preparation. BTW, the crab cakes are the more spiced variety.
