Last night was Sidecar's 3rd birthday, so they had a birthday party complete with cake and everything. 🎂🥳 The drinks are not only delicious, but the presentation is always impressive. My favorite is the “Dealer's Choice.” You tell the bartender a couple of things you like—or don't like—in a drink, and they create something especially for you. Our bartender, Aaron, has made several for me, and I've been pleasantly surprised every single time! The staff is personable, welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. Restaurant Seating Barn Furniture had a good selection of teak table tops at good price points. We ordered a 36” round, teak table tops at and we really like it. It arrived in short order and the quality was nice. I teak oiled the top and bottom. It turned out fabulous!“

I'll admit, I didn't expect to fall in love with El Potro Bar. At first glance, I thought it might not be my vibe, but boy was I wrong! This hidden gem has become my regular haunt, and for good reason.

The real stars of the show are bartenders Alejandra and Raquel. They're two of the kindest, most attentive, skilled and attractive bartenders I've encountered in ages. Their warm smiles, quick wit, and expertly crafted drinks make every visit a delight.

Sure, the atmosphere might be laid-back and slow-paced, but that's exactly what I've grown to appreciate. No pretentiousness, just genuine hospitality and a cozy ambiance that makes me feel right at home.

Alejandra and Raquel know their stuff, always willing to offer recommendations or whip up something special. Their passion shines through in every pour, and it's infectious.

Don't let the slow pace fool you - El Potro Bar has become my favorite spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a perfectly chilled beer.

Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“Tried line dancing for the first time here and absolutely loved it. Even though the place was packed, it never felt chaotic or overwhelming, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.
As someone who had never done line dancing before, I really appreciated that there were beginner-friendly dances as well as more advanced ones for experienced dancers. One of the nicest parts of the night was simply watching the couples on the floor, they were clearly having a great time, and it added such a warm, fun energy to the atmosphere.“

I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. “My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

The food is well cooked and not plastic (like that chain near the freeway) or gray and greasy (like that place downtown LA that just closed for good). I get their breakfasts and everything is just right. Portions, flavor, texture and presentation, all the boxes are ticked. If you’re up here to visit the amusement park on the other side of the freeway, stop here for your meal. The prices are family friendly.“

“The BEST steakhouse I have ever been to. And the best Restaraunt in Santa Clarita. Very intimate and old school and just the right amount of flare and nostalgia. The cooks take their time and are elegant and hard working. Staff is always nice and the food is always hot and cooked well. Anything you order here will be a 10/10 and their steak will beat out anything in Los Angeles or beyond in my opinion! The potatoes are famous here and the clam chowder is to die for.
