“My best friend and I have been going here together, frequently, for the past four years. And it is our absolute most favorite spot on the planet. The food hits every single time. One of us got broken up with? Silverlake is there for us, and it makes all the pain go away. Celebrating a test grade? Silverlake here we come, and suddenly that test grade feels 10x better than it did before that delectable soboro bowl. But honestly, we needed no specific occasion for a trip to silverlake. The food transports me every. Single. Time. My friend just moved away to college yesterday. So instead of going in, I ordered silverlake for delivery for the first time. And truthfully, I was nervous, I ordered the classic ramen. And I now realize how foolish I was to doubt the greatest restaurant on earth. Currently in my kitchen, with my friend away at school, feeling company enough with the most magnificently delicious bowl of food ive ever had, yet again.“

“Wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Topanga! My daughter and I came for our usual quick lunch and were seated at the ramen bar. Gaby made our visit especially enjoyable — she was so warm, attentive, polite, and professional.

What impressed me most was when I accidentally wrapped my aligners in a napkin and they were thrown away. I asked if they could be found, not really expecting it, but Gaby went above and beyond, found them, and brought them back to me! I was truly so grateful.

“Couldn’t be more happy about my experience today. The staff were very kind and helpful and the food was beyond fulfilling. Nothing cheers me up more than ramen and Kai took it that much higher. Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. I don’t think I’ll ever get this close to thins location any time soon but I’m glad it left a valuable place in my ramen filled heart. ❤“

“This place hit it out of the park. I stopped in for a solo dinner while away at work. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and a beer. The food was incredible, beer properly carbonated, and my server was very kind and attentive. Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely adding this place as a go-to dinner spot.“

Amazing and purposeful service by Sarah, Kate, and Mona. Friendly, heartwarming, and attentive — they truly made the experience feel special. They all deserve a holiday pay raise and recognition for their great work. The owner/chef Toshiro adds a level of authenticity that makes the meal feel real, warm, and crafted with care. Today, however, we ordered the Spicy Miso and a Chicken Ramen—and honestly, they were absolutely delicious. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“Haven’t been here in a while and saw that they were closed before I came and now they’re open. I tried their soft opening and wow, what a difference the Ramen is now. They have a Japanese chef now as well. It’s the same good taste, but it’s on another level especially the pork they’re making it fresh now they told me because it’s very big difference and they’re gonna do that daily. Honestly, if it’s this tasty again and they keep doing it like this I’m gonna come back more often. Also order the Giza that was even better than before, but the girls was pretty good before but it just even better now. The curry rice I also got that tasted exactly the same so no changes there. Definitely try the pork and see for yourself you’re gonna be shocked how good it’s now.“

“My first time coming here was with coworkers over a year ago…. Tasteful ramen! Then I started bringing my family, and we stop by every now and then when I bring up ramen for dinner/lunch… Masa Ramen has become my go to place & at this point I don’t plan on venturing else where in SCV for ramen. The service is always great and the owners (I’m guessing) are always pleasant and genuine as well. My family is a fan of One Piece so we enjoy the pictures they have around the shop.
My go to ramen is the chipotle ramen, my kids tend to go for the masa, shoyu, or chipotle ramen as well. My partner’s go to is the curry ramen and the spicy mabo ramen. Appetizers that are our go to are the gyoza, chicken karaage and the chicken fried rice. The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!🌟Just had to say put that in here.“

“We were greeted by Aaron as soon as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the Level 3 ramen with gyoza, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The ramen was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well and wanted something warm, so we ordered the signature ramen broth with noodles for her. After eating it, she said she instantly felt better.

“Had an amazing experience at Shiso Sushi Sherman Oaks The sushi was extremely fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite.

“My kids were raving about this place and they finally invited me to try this location. So naturally, I ordered their best items on the menu. We ordered the chicken pieces as an appetizer and we all chose a bowl of ramen. I ordered the beef broth truffle soup with an extra side of pork belly. The appetizer and the special sauce was delicious and the Ramen was amazing. As a big fan of Phó, this place was really good. Next time we come in, I will order the chicken broth. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review was because of what management said to us as we dined. One of the people in our party did not have soup, they had a sandwich from the restaurant next door. Management came to our table and said that they didn't allow outside food to be eaten in their restaurant. With multiple restaurants located in this shopping center and No signs posted anywhere, I think this policy should be re-evaluated. Between the 3 of us eating Ramen, the bill was almost $84 with a tip. I think for the location being so close to other choices of food and the price, my family should be able to enjoy dinner together. I hope they change this policy in the near future.“

“Food is great BUT they did something tonite that scared us. They delivered an order of calimari to our table which we did not order. They came back at least 15 minutes later or more and asked if we had ordered it and we said no. Asked if we are from it and we said no and they picked it up and took it to someone else. 15 to 20 minutes it sat at our table.
I am pretty sure that is a health regulation problem. Would you want food that was sitting at some random table?????“

“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.

Wine - best pour I have ever seen.

It's a quiet place - under control - a relaxed atmosphere - friendly staff and helpful chefs. Most importantly - Incredible sushi and more - a very extensive menu.
