“Great and hopping busy cafe serving excellent Mexican food at decent prices! Tons of construction workers, cyclists and office workers showing how a good Mexican restaurant can be extremely popular! Free water, nice bathroom and decent salsa bar. Service is quick despite being busy!! We had a pork burrito which was very good! Four tables inside and four outside.“

“A fantastic new restaurant in Menlo Park! I went in with my daughter for a little mommy daughter date and we were very impressed. The service was fantastic, Jorge was so warm and lovely, and the food was really flavorful and delicious. I had the shrimp tacos that were spicy and full of flavor and had three jumbo shrimp in each taco. The tortillas were also clearly a labor of love. Their kids menu is outstanding and my little one loved the beef tacos. To top it off,
I had their smoky old-fashioned that was unique and thoroughly enjoyed and we finished with the churros- delicious! We will be back.“

“Great restaurant. It’s very affordable and fits within my budget of $7. I ate Super Tacos which is super healthy and they have complimentary Chips and Pico. I am attaching pictures for an idea for space and amazing interior decor.

The staff is hardworking, are friendly to each other, they are all ambitious and attentive to their work. The space has so many tables and is good place for families, couples and BFFs, kids after school to hangout. Bar area also available.

There is beautiful outdoor seating too with lights and flowers. I have been here 5 times already as I love Mexican food. So, highly recommended.🍀✨“

I am very picky with my food and I got to say man, they make one of the best if not the best pupusas in the entire Bay Area. They also offer quite the variety of food! “Talk about a hidden gem. I am not from the area but the line outside the establishment was enough for me to stop, park and get in line. I wish I knew the line was for dine in, because I waited in it not knowing it was for dine in! You know a place is good for menudo and birria when the Mexicans are lining up on Sunday for the crudo! If you know you know. It is Morelia style birria and to me, it is very affordable for quality food.
The meat was sooooo tender let me tell you. And the consome, perfect. They have a wide variety of items on the menu but they are known for the birria here so just get that. It's even served with hand made tortillas so you know this is the real deal.
The cold tall mugs of agua frescas looked sooo mouthwatering. The wait for the food after ordering was about 10 minutes but let me tell you, it's worth it!“

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

Had the expresso chicken burrito with red sauce, pork expresso burrito with green sauce, and expresso chicken and steak burrito with red sauce all burritos topped with sour cream, guacamole, onions, and salsa. Had all el loco drink very refreshing and beers and their hot chicken wings served with ranch and Chile sauce along with carrot slices and celery very good. Restaurant very clean and service was great and quick.“

“I had a regular burrito at Mexcal Taqueria and it definitely hit the spot. The tortilla tasted fresh, the ingredients were well balanced, and everything was packed with flavor without being overdone. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. Portions were solid for the price, and the salsa had a nice kick to it.

Service was quick and friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed, authentic vibe. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

Customer service: The woman who greeted me was very sweet and made me feel welcomed.

Food: the shrimp burrito was very fresh and filling. You could taste the freshness of the lettuce and tomato. The salsa was really good too! Their hot salsa has peanuts in it and it gives it a unique flavor reminiscent of Vietnamese peanut sauce. The Jamaica was super refreshing and not too sweet.

Vibes: it’s a chill spot to enjoy your food, even eat in your vehicle. I was able to take my dog on a nice little walk around the block while I waited for my food & it was ready when we got back to Petra’s.

Been coming here for years and won't stop coming since we always have a great experience, great service and delicious food. Came here for an early dinner so right when the opened and allowed us to get great service, enjoy the outside patio and the quietness of the street.

“Sancho's is awesome, sometimes it's busy but never had to wait very long. Cash only but there is an ATM but with a fee so come prepared. Food is great but sometimes inconsistent depending on who prepared it, sometimes my tacos come out totally different than the previous visit.“

“Best taco truck in Mountain View. I love their al pastor tacos and my wife loves their carne asada burrito. Delicious salsas go well on both, they have options to choose from on the outside of the truck.

Price is what you’d expect from a bay area taco truck.

There’s no seating and it’s obviously best while hot! But there’s plenty of parking so you can eat in your car!“
