“1st time ever here. My sister bragged about it forever until finally after a loooooong day at Legoland celebrating my son's 3rd birthday we decide to eat there for dinner. I ordered the Loaded baked potato burger...BOOOOMB!!! Sooo delicious I wanna go back for more. Anyway, my son was asleep when we got there and literally when he peaked and woke up. Our waitress Jacqueline paid attention and got him a little brownie to sing to him....he was soooo happy. Jacqueline really made our night with great food suggestions and attentive to with my family. “Best in the city for vegan white pizza!! I was super exhausted to cook one day and decided to look for a vegan pizza place and oh my, this was the best place I ever tried! I called barely 5-10 minutes before closing but they were so nice they stayed back an extra 15 minutes after their closing time to make sure I got my order! (When I say I was exhausted, it was an under statement so it TOTALLY made my day!!) I am soooooo waiting to go back next week with friends! The pizza was nice and fresh, delicious and for someone that doesn’t like artichokes or olives, on this white pizza they were soooo GOOOOOOODDDDDDD! I a full hundred percent recommend this place.“

“Visiting nearby from Honolulu. Was hungry after enjoying the UCSD WOW festival. Stopped into Balboa's for a quick peek at the NCAA Men's final 4. Special was Chicken Shawarma with fries for 12 bucks. Large portion great fries. Was surprised how tasty and clean-tasting the food was...Extensive Beer selection on tap was great. Service was friendly and attentive, especially Aidan and Kory. Aidan is hysterical with a grand sense of humor...hoping to return before I head home. The local and friendly atmosphere not what I was expecting nor how many people were there as appeared to be a complete hole-in-the wall. Delighted to learn a family run establishment...no corporate stuff here...Check Balboa's Tap House out. Nothing fancy but a great value.“

“We've been coming to Domo since they first opened. It's our go-to sushi spot. One of my favorites is the Hamachi-Buri Kama. They only have so many each day, so it's first come first serve and takes about 15 minutes to prepare.“

“Love the food, it's hand made and fresh to order. With that being said; it does take time! Be patient. But it's worth the wait! If it's busy, be kind to your server/bartender. They have a core staff and the food quality is unlike any other! Fresh cut fries and their food is specialty ordered locally. Ask for the specials, they have them daily. Also they make a MEAN cocktail with whatever liquor choice you have just kind. PS. Try a cactus cooler from Darrell :)“

“Cool dive bar great food but customer service could use improvement arrived the other night to be rushed by the bartender named Ryan with a bad attitude I told him I was helped already and he insisted that he helped me asking me what I wanted when I told him I already was being helped by the lady bartender I felt intimidated and uninvited by him he was difficult to be around he later walked by me when I was playing pool and shook his head at“

“I ended up here at the invite of a friend to enjoy the Wednesday night prime rib special. The prime rib was excellent, especially for the price. This is my first time at the Bullpen and I was amazed at how many customers were there to enjoy the special. The service was a little slow but given the amount of guests on hand the servers did a pretty good job about trying to keep up. The only downside is that this must be the largest sports bar in San Diego and as such he is really noisy. Don't come to the Bullpen if you expect to have a quiet conversation with your friends - at least on a Wednesday night.. Enjoy the prime rib“

“It was ok. A bit loud. I ate there. I only tried one thing. It was my first time there. I had a hamburger & fries with something to drink. I was surprised that there were several kids there because of drinking but they serve food which is probably why. Service was good.“
