“Yesterday's early lunch at the Public House was idyllic. This spot never disappoints, in fact, with each visit I am more enchanted. The food was great. Drinks were generous, tasty and chilled and the server was phenomenal. She was friendly, sweet and efficient. She kept a close eye on our drinks and check in with us a number of times to see that we had all that we needed. A delightful lunch.“

“iI you are looking for a fun atmosphere with yummy food and drinks, this is your place. This was our impromtu date night and we will be back. We had riesling, beer, spicy chicken wings, garlic noodles, and the yummiest over baked and glazed brussels sprouts. To top it off, we ordered the bread pudding cream brulee and I must say the flavors of the vanilla ice cream, bread pudding, chocolate, and creme brulee all melts in your mouth. get ready for a party 🥳 in your mouth. Highly recommended.“

“Delicious food and drink! I’m from out of town but visit San Diego regularly. I always look forward to eating at Karl Strauss Brewing Co. One of my favorite meals is the black bean burger. It’s so delicious - tastes as good as a regular burger to me. So much flavor. The service is great and employees are friendly. I’m usually by myself so I eat at the bar and they sometimes offer samples of beers that compliment my meal. Looking forward to my next visit! 😋“

“What a great restaurant at the Bernardo Winery. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch before walking around the cute winery and do some shopping in the boutiques on site.
There are lots of outdoor tables to choose from and most are shaded. It opens at 11am and it was busy soon after. We went on a weekday too.
You can get wines from the tasting room or delicious coffee from Manzanita next door.
You order from the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. Everything we had was delicious though the pizza was a little on the burnt side from the wood fired oven.
Parking: There are two small parking lots and plenty of street parking.“
“We did Afternoon Tea here on a Saturday, and we sat by the fireplace. The tea, food, and service were wonderful. Our server Andrea was especially welcoming and hospitable. She did a great job explaining the different types of tea. The food was delicate and delicious. There was a piano player who was incredible and the ambiance was warm and inviting.“

“We live in the area of Fairmont Grand and have been to Amaya several times for brunch or breakfast. Regretfully, their service time has been awful every time. It is unfortunate because it's right by our house and it's just a beautiful facility, but they consistently fail to deliver proper service and proper timing for their food. Sadly, I believe that's the reason they are never booked for brunch when places like the Pony Room and other nice hotels are always packed. I truly hope they will make some improvements.“
