“Be sure to sign up for the waitlist as this local spot is super popular. The massive brunch menu has something for everyone. Love that there’s such a variety of traditional and Tex-mex brunch options to satiate your hunger in the morning!“

“We don’t usually go out for breakfast (the easiest meal to make at home for 1/8th the cost & healthier, tastier dishes) but…we tried the Chiliquilles and memosa sampler and had a very tasty and filling meal (feeds two), wonderful service by Rocael at The Mira Mesa restaurant and a waitress even stopped by briefly for a human conversation. Walked away with full belly’s, a great experience and a nice little buzz. Will return if we can get Rocael and the nice waitress who was closer to our age (think post Logans Run). Sorry, love…didn’t catch your name. Would be GREAT if we could get the same choices as The PB restaurant!!“

“We indulged in a delightful breakfast at this spot over the weekend! Despite arriving later than planned, the approximately 20-minute wait proved to be well worthwhile. The provision of a pager allowed us the freedom to stroll around during the wait.Parking posed no issue in the shopping center, and although the restaurant was compact and bustling, their organization was commendable. They effectively maximized space, ensuring a comfortable experience without excessive crowding. While outdoor seating is available, a bit more of it would be a welcome addition.Customer service held up admirably in the midst of a busy morning. The staff checked on us diligently, displaying friendliness throughout. Now, onto the highlight—the food was simply delicious! Our choice of corned beef hash and chilliquilles in Colorado sauce proved to be a culinary delight. The corned beef, presented in substantial chunks rather than the typical ground form, added a unique touch. The house potatoes, though nicely sized, could benefit from a touch more seasoning and crispness.Overall, it is a highly satisfying breakfast experience that assures our return.“

“The wife and I thought the food was okay. Nothing outstanding. Her French Toast with strawberries and marscapone was ordinary. Her comment was that the strawberries were not up to peak season sweetness and were very neutral tasting.I had the seasonal scramble with potatoes. Again nothing exceptional. The bright spot of the meal was the ketchup style sauce. Oh boy was that good ?Service was outstanding.“

“This new-ish (open less than a year) Roberto's in Santee is located on the edge of our neighborhood. We don't even have to take a major thoroughfare to get to it. We become victims of habit when it comes to our to-go Mexican food. We finally remembered this place. Located in the corner of a 7/11 anchored strip mall on the corner of Cuyamaca and Mast, on a hill. The parking lot can get a bit messy at times. The 7/11 has a gas station which makes the entry/exit a little more difficult. I called to place our order for pick-up. (I'm not going to deduct a star because their website sucks). The girl who I spoke with was pleasant. She said my order would be ready in five minutes. Perfect. It takes two to get there from our house. For Becky it was the Carne Asada Plate with flour tortillas. I chose the Carnitas Plate (no guac) with corn tortillas. I also ordered a Fish Taco for myself. The carne asada was very, very good. Seasoned well and tender. No fatty or gristly chunks. Quality carne asada. Served with very good refried beans and rice. Excellent flour tortillas as well. I loved the carnitas. Lots of big flavorful chunks. Nice and crispy exterior with tender, delicious pork inside. Really good. The corn tortillas were great. The fish taco was fantastic. The perfectly breaded filet filled the doubled-up corn tortillas from end to end. It was nicely dressed with "Baja sauce", pico and cabbage. If you dine in there are a few tables inside and a little 4-seat bar with four tap handles. When I was visited they had Pacifico, Modelo, Sculpin and Coors Light on tap, although no one was manning the bar. I didn't see any pricing, but bottled beers were $3 each. Solid food and super convenient for us. Yep, we're going back.“

“This was my first time at the Omelette Factory and it won't be my last. Everything was delicious and hearty. I ordered the Highway 52 Omelette as well as the French Toast. The omelette was cooked well and the hash browns had a nice crispy crunch. The French Toast was equally as well made. The restaurant was clean, organized, and pleasant. My server was Mary, she did an amazing job! I had an overall great experience for breakfast. It's a solid spot to eat a good meal in Santee. Eat up!!!“

“My large extended family and I recently had a reunion. At the end of the trip, twenty of us really wanted to go out for a final breakfast together, but it was St. Patrick's Day, we all had flights to catch, time was tight and we hadn't made breakfast reservations. We called Broken Yolk, not really thinking we had any chance to get in, and we were informed that they could accommodate us on their patio. Fifteen minutes later, all twenty adults and children were seated on their patio, and we were surrounded by helpful, friendly wait staff who took our orders, and then delivered beautiful, delicious food in record time. They came back to refill drinks, to see if we had everything we needed, and we were able to have our last meal together and make it to the airport on time. I was impressed. Kudos and our thanks to the cooks and wait staff at the Carmel Mountain Broken Yolk.“

“My wife and i went here on the recommendation of some friends. We met some other friends there. The food was really good. We all loved our breakfasts. It was quiet enough to have a conversation without feeling like you were yelling. The staff was very friendly. The food came out a bit slow, but we didn't care because we were catching up. I would definitely recommend this place if you aren't in a big hurry. We will definitely be back with others in tow.Dietary restrictions: They seemed to be very flexible on menu changes, there was also food to order.Parking: There is a nice big free parking structure just next door. We were there on a Sunday morning so this could be different on a Friday afternoon.“

“As always, the German pancake is the best. We always get one for the table and it is everyone’s favorite. I pull off pieces and eat it plain or with butter. My breakfast also came with pancakes which were very good, the others got the potato pancakes and they were delicious. I got the corned beef hash with two poached eggs. Hash was good and had more of a corned beef flavor than other restaurants but it didn’t taste like St Patrick’s Day. The eggs were cooked right. My wife got the California Benedict, the eggs were cooked a little too long and the bacon and English muffin were very hard to cut. My son had the Crab Cake Benedict and his eggs were on the hard side, I pointed it out to our waitress and she was going to replace them but he decided to eat them so he wouldn’t have to wait. Despite those issues, the meal was very good. Everyone was super friendly but the place was busy being a Saturday morning. Our table was just inside the door and a ton of people walked by.Parking: The Amazon grocery store never opened so there is a huge empty lot to park in.Kid-friendliness: They are very nice to kids.“
