“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

However, gave it a 2nd try while visiting some family in San Marcos. It was like night and day. Our cashier was super nice and patient with me as I figure out what I want. The burger tasted so much better. Very happy with this experience.“

“Not bad for a $7 burger. It was VERY saucy. If you don't like sauce being the main thing you taste maybe try to ask for it on the side or get a double. The single does not stand up to the sauce and I like to taste the meat and cheese up front and then the sauce personally. The order process is pretty nuts you order from them online and pay them through Venmo or cash at pickup. Then you message them on Instagram when you arrive. They are basically renting a kitchen and you pick it up there.“

“One of the best burger I’ve ever had. Deep fried zucchini is to die for. Onion rings were real onions. There were 6 of us, we shared each other sides. I have to be gluten free unfortunately but it doesn’t feel like a pain here, well labeled menu, they have regular gluten options so my boyfriend can choose anything as well, he has tried my gluten free options and said they are also just as good, the gluten free buns are pretty decent but I prefer the bowls, I’m not big on gluten free bread, the buns are not gluten free by default you have to ask for that just fyi, we love the food every time, bowls are great, the peri peri sauce is my fave“
