I recently visited Hawaii’ and came back on a hunt for good poke in LA. While we are lucky in LA to have amazing food options , gooooood poke was somewhat of a challenge.
But then the gods blessed me with a recommendation of Jus’ Poke. Must be the good karma coming back to me because it’s INCREDIBLE.
I brought my mom and grandma , who is an immigrant from a Slavic country and very hard to impress with food and she loved this place.
Love the people working there as well. The guys are always welcoming and kind.
Pro tip for extra whimsy : grab a bowl and head to the beach for a sunset dinner. ✨“

Five stars are not enough to describe how satisfied I am with the service, but especially with the flavor of the pizzas and the calzone made by Chef Marcos and his wife Fernanda. I’m a true pizza lover, and I honestly don’t mind driving an hour from San Fernando Valley just to enjoy their food. You can feel the love and care in every detail, from the packaging to their communication on social media. It’s clear how much they love what they do and how much they care about their customers. It’s really a privilege to taste their pizza. I’m eating mine right now, taking small bites because I don’t want it to end. Honestly, there’s no better pizza in Los Angeles. “I love this boba place so much! There are tables to work at and the environment is calming. The cat drawing collection on the wall continues to increase each time I come in. Many teenagers like to come here to study and draw after school and on weekends. The staff is super sweet and helpful. I really love the green tea boba but they have some really good smoothies as well.“

“One of the best Omakase (chef's choice) sashimi platters I've enjoyed in awhile. The restaurant has a fresh selection, including our favorites of sweet shrimp, albacore, Hamachi yellowtail and scallops. I loved the presentation with the whole deep fried head and artistic design with the tail and other special aesthetic details that made this a work of art, not just lunch. I hope to come back sometime soon!

Our server kept our cups full of green tea and was attentive but not intrusive. They even gave us a complimentary matcha green tea cheesecake at the end, with cold grapes. Definitely sit indoors when it gets breezy, but the door is open to allow for fresh air and people watching.“

The food was excellent. I ordered two items to go, the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. (I should have taken pictures because the items were beautifully presented in addition to being delicious! 🤓)

“I absolutely love Tot Coffee. Their blueberry cream matcha with oat milk is my favorite drink. It started as a seasonal item but might be on their menu permanently now. My coworker loves the Blue’s Clues signature latte, which has blueberry purée, peppermint, milk, and espresso, and my other coworker switches between the pour-over coffee and cappuccino.

I also love their pastries, especially the spinach pastry, baguette with jam, croissant, and pain au chocolat. Everything we have tried has been delicious.

You can tell the owner is very mindful, which makes for a consistently pleasant experience every time we visit. The drinks don’t change depending on who makes them, and I find comfort in that consistency. I love the café’s minimal but mindful aesthetic. I could sit there all day to work, read, or meet with friends or clients.

The café has a mellow and inviting vibe. They also host the No Bounds Run Club, which is very inclusive for both slower runners like me and faster runners. There is a group that runs 2.5 miles and another that runs 4.5 miles. They meet every Saturday at 7 a.m., and afterwards you get a password for a discount at the coffee shop. You don’t need to sign up, you can just show up. I’m not a consistent runner, but the No Bounds Run Club has made me more consistent because I love the reward of a yummy drink after the run, and I love that someone will walk with me without judgment if I don’t feel like running the whole time.

“Caterers arrived for the party and everyone set up and cleaned up without much oversight so I could spend my time attending to the party. Also packed up our leftovers. We got so many compliments on the food. The kitchen was so clean after the party it was like no one was there. Can’t wait to use Made by Meg again!“

“This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it's perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I've been there, but I will say it's too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That's the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.“

“We really enjoyed our coffee and breakfast options at Meravalley Coffee Roasters. We were vacationing near by and came back each morning to enjoy a latte and homemade yogurt/granola parfait. The service was excellent and the coffee/food had great taste/flavor. And we sat at the window seat and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!“

“A barebones juice and healthy shake bar with bright and friendly cashiers.

I ordered the Greek Coffee (coffee, figs, dates, cardamom, cacao, banana and almond milk) and would give it an 8/10. The flavors could be better balanced to let the almond and banana shine more than the dates.

Prices are definitely steep but the portions are generous. I could’ve easily split my $15 shake with someone else.“

“This was a good place to eat at. The yakitori is very good but a bit pricey. The chicken yakitori, scallop, beef wagyu and unagi were very good.

The staff was super nice and attentive. The atmosphere was good and very inviting. Reservations are recommended as it does get very busy, especially on weekends.

I'd had some of the happy hour items it was good so I'd love to come back here to get more items from the happy hour menu.“
