“Our food was absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp and bread appetizer. Both were so delicious. For entrees my niece had the ribeye and my husband and I had the tomahawk for two. Both steaks were prepared medium rare as ordered and seasoned perfectly. We ordered the mashed potato's and asparagus for sides. Both were delicious. This was a very special meal and we have never been disappointed at The Rex.“

“Cute little restaurant with great service. The steaks are above average, cooked perfectly, but they are definitely lacked seasoning. A good steak should be seasoned right and not require any sauces. The sides were all very very heavy and some of our party could not eat them. Not disappointed in going, but more than likely will not return.“

When me and guests arrived to the table, it was decorated nicely with birthday cards and confetti.. Food was splendid.. Our waiter was patient, kind & respectful.. The food was excellent, the ambiance was intimate, the service was great. Try the wagyu cotton candy skewers (trust me, mind blowing). We wanted the Kansas City aged bone in strip, but they didn't have it, so we went with the regular NY strip, and it was cooked to perfection. It is not cheap, but it is worth it.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at one of the best steakhouse in Los Angeles county. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the owners.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere after being gone almost a year. Prime in one of my favorite places to dine. The service always exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, which truly enhanced the entire experience.

Of course, the highlight was my Ribeye and my my guest had your Tomahawk itself — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly a treat for the senses. It's clear that a great deal of passion and skill goes into every aspect of your establishment.

“We always order the Ruth's Classic large Filet, medium rare. Every previous time, it was perfect - tender and juicy. However, this time, the steak was a bit tough and it had WAY too much salt - much more than usual. From now on, I will order it without any salt. but it will be awhile before we return.“
