“Waffles & Cream is a delicious place for sweets. My favorite being their cookie monster milkshake. I’ve had their delicious treats since they’ve opened up and have had the opportunity to try different varieties off their menu. Everyone has their own preferences of course as I prefer the Belgian Waffle over the Bubble. If this is your first time trying Waffles & Cream I would recommend starting off with something simple but delicious such as their Liege Waffle Belgian Delight (Banana, Strawberry, Nutella, House Whip, and Vanilla Ice Cream on top of a Belgian Waffle). If you want something such a single scoop the Cookie Monster is a great option it’s cookies and cream mixed with cookie dough. The new star of the show the upcoming trending Dubai Chocolate covered Strawberries is another great option. Cheaper than many other places with great ratios and quantity of the sweet treat. Overall me and family have had nothing but great things to say about this place since it has opened. I’m glad to see they listen to customers feedback and continue to add more items to their menu to try out.“

“Was in the area and did a search for ice cream. This place popped up and I decided to check it out. The vibe from the staff is great. The flavors are nice and different, the finish of the ice cream is fresh. No lingering fattiness or artificial viscosity.

Will definitely come back if I'm in the area and want ice cream. Store is clean and bright, plenty of natural light and simple decor. The production area is clearly visible so you can see they're proud of what they're doing. I recommend this place.“

“One of the last gems of San Francisco, a treasure to be remember as the times change and people become more picky. Those who don't know this history should know that Gelato Classico was a chain that has been around since the 80s slowly dissolving until this was the last location left in downtown. I hope people start to appreciate the history of this great city as it is slowly eroded away by time and gentrification. Some of the best gelato you can get in America hands down. Please go and support this business and Trader Vics/Cordon Blue if you are a local or a tourist! Keep the memories alive, you wont regret it!“

“Vegan (& Gluten-free) flavors! I loved the pluot, the dark chocolate, and the walnut (that has no pieces of nuts in it, which is really helpful to those like me who can’t have much fiber). Additionally, I found all three flavors more refreshing than (sickeningly) heavy, and the flavors 🤩 🎇—like the grand finale of a fireworks show for the taste buds. I’ve only had about a spoonful of each so far but am in love 😍🤤😋. I didn’t go to the shop, someone brought me some, so I’m not able to give my opinion on the actual shop. “We were visiting from Texas and oh my gosh. It is the best banana split I have ever had. We had the Golden Gate Banana Split. It's a bit pricey, but it was worth it. The chocolate ice cream is incredible. Honestly I don't remember ever eating chocolate ice cream as delicious as theirs. The strawberry and pineapple pieces tasted fresh. Weeks later and back in Texas we are still talking about it. It is a good size, so I suggest splitting it with someone. Make sure it's someone who shares equally.“

“This is the spot if you're down for a yogurt drink. However, I'm personally interested in a lighter drinks, and usually grab a genki green lemon tea as my choice from Yomie's. However, all the yogurt drinks I've ordered so far have been thick, and made fresh. The freshly made aspect is superb, but it does also mean you're not getting your drink that quick after you punch in your order. The fruit can be a hit or miss: sometimes you get a not-stellar batch of strawberries or avocado in your drink.

There's a few tables and some interior seating along with wifi available, but I would rather hang out at any of the nearby parks than indoors unless I'm waiting on friends. Order from kiosk or counter. There's usually a minimal line.“

“This is my favorite boba spot in oakland. I usually get the grass jelly milk tea with boba and oatmilk and it is suuper refreshing! Just the right amount of sweetness. Their boba AND grass jelly is my favorite out of many places in the Bay Area, being chewy & soft. I’m not really sure how to describe the consistency lol but the flavor of both is great! Sweet but not TOO sweet.

The service is great too. They seem organized and well structured, always kind and helpful.

And that comes from over a year of experience living and traveling in Italy! Besides the beautiful architecture and interior design of Passione Caffè—not to mention its convenient location next to Downtown Berkeley BART—I would like to point out some highlights on the menu. The pastas are all made with homemade, organic noodles and made-to-order sauces. The pasta dishes are so fresh and authentic! The spaghetti with meatballs, their only Americanized dish, is to die for! The pizzas also are also made with home-made dough and gluten-free options are offered. Try one with fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula! The fresh panini with Italian meats and cheeses round out the lunch menu.
