“Was in the area and did a search for ice cream. This place popped up and I decided to check it out. The vibe from the staff is great. The flavors are nice and different, the finish of the ice cream is fresh. No lingering fattiness or artificial viscosity.

Will definitely come back if I'm in the area and want ice cream. Store is clean and bright, plenty of natural light and simple decor. The production area is clearly visible so you can see they're proud of what they're doing. I recommend this place.“

“We ordered Hot Brownie Fudge Sundae which was utterly delicious. The Hot Cocoa classic was good as well. The place was packed, so we waited for them to clear a table for two. You place your buzzer in the middle of your table, and someone brings your order.

Be warned that the prices are really high - nearly $19 for one sundae! This is a major tourist trap, in California, and you are paying for, well, the experience.“

“I finally was able to stop in and try this place! I was off work and craving a smoothie, I prefer supporting small business so Jamba was going to be last resort. I got there a little after 3p on Saturday, not busy, one person waiting and one came in after me. I told the guy what I like and ended up choosing the Sunshine, but he was more than willing to customize it, but I’m so glad I didn’t change it cause it’s SO good! I live a few minutes away and I was almost half way done by the time I got home, I should have got the large!! Price wise, total was $8.58, with a small tip, definitely worth it, everything was so fresh and didn’t taste processed like the corporate spots. Also, they use Mitchell’s Ice cream now I know for next time! Great job and I can’t wait to stop in again and try another smoothie“

“There isn't a bad item you could order at Curbside. The fresh waffle cones really take me for a spin, they alone can be eaten and loved without anything extra! But fortunate for us, we also get tasty, rotating soft serve flavors to fill them with. Also, the variety of vegan ice creams is excellent for my wife. The ice cream sandwiches are awesome. Just such a great little walk up ice cream spot, a necessity when in the neighborhood for dinner.“

The cake itself was a work of art but the taste, omg, all my friends were floored. I've also been able to find her slices at Falletti Foods and love all the flavors. “I used to get Yomie’s in SoCal, and it was a yummy alternative to boba when I wanted something different. The yogurt smoothies at the North Beach location taste pretty similar but seem to be blended a little thicker. I got the passion fruit smoothie with less sugar and purple rice as a topping, and it was very filling. Definitely recommend as a drinkable snack.“

Those who don't know this history should know that Gelato Classico was a chain that has been around since the 80s slowly dissolving until this was the last location left in downtown. I hope people start to appreciate the history of this great city as it is slowly eroded away by time and gentrification. Some of the best gelato you can get in America hands down. “We were visiting from Texas and oh my gosh. It is the best banana split I have ever had. We had the Golden Gate Banana Split. It's a bit pricey, but it was worth it. The chocolate ice cream is incredible. Honestly I don't remember ever eating chocolate ice cream as delicious as theirs. The strawberry and pineapple pieces tasted fresh. Weeks later and back in Texas we are still talking about it. It is a good size, so I suggest splitting it with someone. Make sure it's someone who shares equally.“

“This is my favorite boba spot in oakland. I usually get the grass jelly milk tea with boba and oatmilk and it is suuper refreshing! Just the right amount of sweetness. Their boba AND grass jelly is my favorite out of many places in the Bay Area, being chewy & soft. I’m not really sure how to describe the consistency lol but the flavor of both is great! Sweet but not TOO sweet.

My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more.
