“4++ great neighborhood coffee shop that has fun, chill vibes, and enthusiastic service. There's fun decor inside and looks like a place where people can hang out or get some reading and/or work done. I only got an Americano or drip from here (with added cream), so I can't really speak to the food items or any of the more complex, possibly more sugary drinks here. It looks like they roast their own beans here as well. I had a lot of coffee at home at the time of my visit, so I didn't buy a bag. I might have to come back and grab one. Parking was easy to find. There's a lot on the side of the building. If the lot is full, I'm pretty sure you could find street parking close by.“

“Excellent breakfast and great coffee/au lait. A HUGE menu with even more options/specials posted around the space. Blueberry bacon pancakes were exactly my style. If you love the fruit, bacon, pancakes, egg yolks and syrup all in the same bite - this is the dish for you!“

“Their food is so tasty. We tried the mergez sandwich with their French baguette and sautéed potatoes. We loved it. We also had a café crème with a delicious mille feuille (French pastry). their staff is very friendly. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.“

“Came here on a weekend after a cruise. Got the breakfast burrito and it was great. The distribution of the ingredients inside the burrito was even and there was a decent amount of bacon inside. I wish their salsa was more spicy though since I think that would have made a good addition to the burrito. I didn't get guac so can't say if it would have made a good addition but I think that the burrito without it was great.“

“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!“

“Short: Charming café with down to earth people, no frills menu. Staff is friendly & the environment is calming. Dog friendly patio. Long: Parking is abundant in the marina lot. Exterior vibe is boaty lol as the café is tucked away between the Wilmington Marina & surrounded by boats. There are booths & a counter inside but why would you sit inside if the outside is refreshing? Lol There is usually a pup or two on the patio that is generally calm. There are occasions the pups go a little nuts over the birds or ducks around. Lol Yes, there is a small menu for dogs. Staff is friendly, professional, & efficient. Food is simple but good. A couple surprises: the French toast & the menudo. Both are delicious! WC: Key required, separate facilities for ladies & gents.“

“TMJ Café - A Haven for Donut Lovers If there's one thing you must try at TMJ Café, it's their Maple Bacon Donut. This delightful treat is nothing short of phenomenal. The donut itself is pillow-soft, providing the perfect canvas for the rich, sweet and savory toppings. The maple glaze is expertly balanced - not too sweet, just perfectly syrupy, complementing the crispy, savory bacon on top. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more. The ambiance of TMJ Café adds to the experience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their baked goods. And if the Maple Bacon Donut is anything to go by, the rest of their menu promises to be just as delightful. In summary, TMJ Café is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Maple Bacon Donut is a standout, and I am eagerly looking forward to indulging in the rest of their delicious offerings. Oh goodness gracious, this is a donut lover's dream come true!“

“We stopped here for coffee and dessert, the place is a bit old and needs to be cleaned and dusted, in general the restaurant is cozy, there are only three tables inside but more seating is available outside, but if you stay outside be prepared to smell smoking or weed from people passing by. We ordered Expresso and sweet bread, the coffee was really good and the bread was okay, not really amazing, lots of pictures on the wall from famous people, specially Jeni Rivera, but this area is dirty and definitely should be cleaned. The restroom is clean and lots of free parking is available.“
“Excellent dining experience. We went to Lunch to take advantage of the outstanding view of the Driving experience course. server, was attentive without being intrusive. We started our meal sharing fresh oysters and Scallops which were incredibly fresh, briny and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and pork dishes on the menu, which accommodated my gluten allergy. We had a salad with a delicious dressing and it was beautiful, fresh and appetizing. Such a nice weekend lunch with friend in a lovely spot.“

“I love pastries and I love bread and I love coffee. I also love that this place is so close to home! But I don't know if it's a good thing for me because now I am addicted lol. The women that work here are All so sweet and always answer my questions about the beverage menu ( which I told myself I'd try every single one) and so far all good but I am loving their gingerbread caramel latte and tried the chocolate peppermint cookie today and omg it is sooo good! Peppermint flavor is just the perfect amount not overpowering, like the lady that helped me said I cannot believe it's Vegan. My kids love their chocolate chip cookies and we enjoy some of their sourdough every now and then! Great little gem in San Pedro.“

“This place is great!! I had a bagel sandwich that was amazing! I would have given 5 stars but the cashier shorted me on change .i didn't say anything ( i was going to leave it as a tip) . I highly recommend this place still. Quality food !“
“Bites & Bashes is a cute little breakfast spot run by a mother-daughter duo, using produce from their family farm. The menu comes off as Asian-Mexican fusion with burritos and bulgogi items. We had the ube lava pancakes, Korean breakfast, crack fries, and the CFO. The ube lava pancakes comes with three moist, fluffy pancake generously drizzled with ube syrup and coconut flakes. This was soo good! The Korean breakfast is a skillet of beef bulgogi, onion, peppers, and two eggs over rice. It was a very satisfy and delicious comfort food. The CFO is a burrito with scrambled eggs, pork, beans, rice, and scallions. I tried a little of it and it was pretty good. The crack fries are a great appetizer. Service was really great and we got to meet the owners: Crystal, the daughter, and the mom, Chef Julie.“

“Jennifer is the absolute best, I stumbled across this little hidden gem and I cannot say enough about the service I received from Jennifer. She let me and my co worker sample the drinks before deciding which one to get, and she makes the best organic Acai bowls. On the other note, we came back one day for lunch and I'm not sure what the lady name was that was there, she was so rude and we have not been back since. I wish Jennifer was there daily because I really loved the way her energy was and the way she made our bowl and drinks.“

“I've passed this place and wanted to give a try, after finally someone taking my order at the counter it came out in about 15 minutes. The place has a coffee house vibe, great tunes, and beer and wine. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with salad instead of fries. All ingredients are fresh. Standard dressing is balsamic. Sandwich came HOT and is a knife and fork sandwich, it is so packed with delicious ingredients it falls apart. Great hidden gem“

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Excellent service. Atmosphere was such a vibe, it’s super cozy. The food was heavenly. Overall a lovely experience. 10 out of 5 stars.“

“This is a great place for grab and go. It would be nice to have seating but they do have some outside. I didn't try the coffee but I got a breakfast burrito. “Cafe Pruvia is one of the most underrated spots in the South Bay for boba. They definitely perfected the milk teas! Although I'm not a big milk tea guy, their drinks are quite impressive. Strawberry milk tea with black tea is so refreshing but also satisfies that milk crave. If you are looking for a fruit tea, I recommend the peach green tea as it is nice and tart. They also have amazing service and are very welcoming. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to study or work, as it is always packed with college students studying on their computers. I will say, the boba pearls can be inconsistent. Some days I would go and the boba will be really small while other days they will be just right. That's their only flaw. Other than that, I highly recommend cafe pruvia if you want quality teas!“

“I’m soo impressed with the food and service at this place. I just casually visited this morning for breakfast. I felt healthy after having their balanced breakfast of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and potatoes full of flavor with fresh fruits. The organic coffee just hit the spot. I accidentally skipped the tip portion when I made the payment through their machine, and despite me requesting a reswipe, they gladly said it’s fine. I can’t wait to go back there and pay a double tip for their exceptional service and value for money food.“

“Very unassuming, very low key, yet very, very good. Both savory crepes were exceptional: fresh ingredients in tasty combinations. Strawberry sweet crepe was quite good - I might have to try some of the others to see if we can't jump that rating up a bit. Which is to say we're likely to come back.“

“I've lived here for decades and for some reason, I have never tried this restaurant until today. I always see the iconic "yellow" decor whenever I pass by it. I love how this restaurant is dog friendly. We brought my Labrador here and sat outside on their patio area. We ordered the Chicken BLT, Sausage and Eggs, Large Cappuccino and a Mango Strawberry Smoothie. Every dish was delicious and hit the spot. The cappuccino was perfect with its frothiness. The smoothie was average to me and I probably won't order this drink again. The restaurant is bigger inside than it appears from the outside. A very charming and cozy vibe. I met a lovely lady while waiting in line and she was telling me how she lived in Lunada Bay and loves coming here. It was a beautiful atmosphere of friendly locals. Wish I came here years ago!“

“A real hidden gem in the South Bay where authentic Vietnamese food is scarce. This is a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect anything other than real, authentic Vietnamese food. There's not too many Vietnamese eaters around here where you can get tasty hu tieu (Vietnamese pork and seafood noodle soup), bun rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle soup), and bun bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy beef and pork noodle soup). I was also delighted after trying their bo kho (Vietnamese beef stew)! Just stop reading more yelp reviews and go try.“

“This is my new favorite place to get away and get some work done with a perfect cup of coffee! Inside it's sunny, bright, and cheerful. The baristas are very kind and always say hello. They have the best creamy homemade almond cashew milk that I've ever had. It's not the flat watery boxed stuff. If you stay inside your latte will be filled to the brim of giant mug with a perfect micro-foam leaf on top that holds its shape for as long as it takes you to finish it.“

“I love eating at Auntie's and I can't stop raving about their breakfast burritos! Without a doubt, Auntie's serves up the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. My go-to order is the bacon and Portuguese sausage combo, minus the tater tots, and it never disappoints. Also I love the traditional Hawaiian music that plays as I'm enjoying my food. It always creates a calm and comfortable environment.I've explored breakfast burrito options all over the South Bay and Los Angeles, and nothing even comes close to Auntie's. The flavor profile is absolutely outstanding. The bacon is thick and delightfully crunchy, elevating every bite to a whole new level of deliciousness. What makes Auntie's even more remarkable is their support for law enforcement. They go the extra mile by hosting "coffee with a cop" events periodically, fostering better communication between the public and the Gardena police department. It's heartwarming to see the mayor of Gardena, Chief, and Captain attend these events, demonstrating Auntie's commitment to the community.Auntie's isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where you can savor incredible breakfast burritos and feel good about supporting a business that actively engages with its local law enforcement and community. If you're in the area, Auntie's is a must-visit spot for a truly unforgettable breakfast experience.“

“Came here for a drawing meetup event. nice of Ding Tea to host.Great service, although they're woefully understaffed with one guy serving everyone and one guy cooking everything... Can you guys hire one more person to help out?I had a boba iced oat mocha ($7.25 before tip) which was good albeit very expensive. The oat milk upcharge really should be reduced to $0.75, especially for a Regular size.Unlike the Carson Ding Tea, this one is actually pleasant to be in. Comfortable chairs, nice lighting, and a clean inviting venue.I'd say 4.5 stars, 5 if the prices were more reasonable. If I'm ever in Lomita again, I know where to stop for some overpriced coffee.“

“The food was so scrumptious. I typically don't like chilaquiles but Dayuum that chilaquiles Torta was bomb diggity. It was like a delicacy that I've never had. So many flavors blasting with every bite. I will for sure come back for a round two of that Torta chilaquiles. It was a bit spicy but I didn't care I loved it. The ambience was great so much space and not a lot of people maybe because my party and I were there early in the morning. The service was okay they took a while to give us our food to be an empty day but you know what, it was worth the wait. Overall loved it!!! Coming back for more.“

“Popped in pretty late - about an hour until closing - and the waiter Ty was very nice and helpful. Our favorite dishes were the appetizers - sliced fried plantains with salsa & coco buns with browned butter. Our favorite main dish was the chicken stew. “Our group enjoyed the xquiche Lorraine, California omelet, and a basic egg, bacon, and bread combo. I think the quiche was the best of the entrees. There was lots of flavor, the crust was flaky, and the dressing on the side of greens was very good. It was a generous size, too.My mocha was nice and got and served promptly. We arrived at about 9:30 and beat the rush of about 7 groups that came in right after us. “Pricey for the serving sizes you get. I was not really satisfied with the shaved ice, wasn't flavorful enough to me.Had lots of red bean in it (we got the original), didn't love it much. If you love red bean you'd probably like it a lot. Also ordered the Omiza tea (iced). It's like $7 for a small cup of tea (like a small sized drink) or around there. It was highly flavorful and sour. I think I would've liked it better if I had another cup half filled with water and had it diluted.I really liked the taiyaki though. Good crispiness but also soft and warm. If I ever came back I would just get the taiyaki again.Service was fine, they were all polite and had good customer service.“
“I had a work e ent in Torrance and wanted to grab breakfast burritos for the team. I found this spot. Wow. First, the service could not have been better and kinder. I ordered 5 breakfast burritos and watched them be made from scratch by the awesome chef. We got 3 bacon and 2 sausage. They were a huge hit. The ingredients were fresh and incredibly tasty. The only thing better was the fresh scratch salsa that went with the burritos. The shop is located on the outside of an office building. It has a great chill vibe to grab all sorts of goodness. When I'm in the South Bay, I'll be a yummy.“
