“It was a slow morning but service was prompt with a wonderful breakfast served. Our waitperson was very attentive and made several suggestions to make out breakfast better. I would have loved a nice salsa for the eggs, but didn't really think of it to ask. A definite yes on whether we would return.“

“Great place with parking in the back lot. Plenty of seating. Best to find seating before you order. Menu has lots of options. Ordered Mick's scramble was a lot of food but really delicious. They had a limited selection of herbal tea. They bring your order to you. It can get very busy and noisy. Will go again.“

“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. “A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the tasty chicken?😋😋“

“One of all favorites branch place in Redondo Beach area, they close at 2 PM. We love their hot and fresh food after order doesn’t take more than 15 minutes. Parking is a little hassle, but it’s still worth it. If you go 2/3 blocks away, you can easily find parking. Before you go, make sure to get in the line from yelp otherwise you have to wait in the line. Service is excellent.“

“We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This is a good choice when you want shave ice dessert the flavors are natural I’m allergic to a lot of colors and they don’t add any additives so if you were sensitive as I am, I has not reacted to anything that I have order there, which is very common with this desert. they had lots of colors this place doesn’t.“

“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.

“Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.“

“Been coming to North End since 2010. Best gem of the south bay. Some favorites from the lunch menu are the Manhattan, el guapo, Alicia, bolsa chica. The cobb salad. We also get fuego burger or the Jimmy salad. Get the breakfast potatoes too. Pretty awesome place and is right by the strand. My order lately is Bolsa Chica sandwich or old Cobb salad.“

“I’m basing my review on two different cake donuts from two different visits….One was chocolate with vanilla icing, the other crumb-top—both of excellent donuts. The cafe also serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, but I came for the donuts.

The cafe itself is very clean, good music playing, booth tables lining the windows, upgraded with a digital menu board. Nothing fancy, yet nicely upgraded interiors with tasteful finishes. It’s a perfect traditional Los Angeles donut shop that has invested in offering a comfortable cafe experience with above average food.

Next time I’m ordering coffee and more donuts, maybe a sandwich, and bringing something to read and stay a while.“

“Its unfortunate that probably the only people who will eat here are travelers on their way to Catalina because it truly is worth a drive for a great meal! Who'd a thought a breakfast burrito and an omelette would surprise anyone but that's exactly what it did. Both were delicious! I even heard my Fiancé say "Tjis is the best omelette i've ever had!" So there you have it. And did I mention the prices were extremely reasonable? Actually quite low for the quality! Have a bite on the water and enjoy everything about this little bistro!“

“After a nice hike down to the cove, this was a welcoming and cozy spot to grab a coffee and soak up the beautiful California coastal atmosphere of Terranea Hotel and Resort. I've stayed at the resort and played some golf there as well. Most trips include a visit to Sea Beans. Staff is A+.“

Vegetarian-friendly. Indoor dining only (no outdoor options). They have a self-service salsa bar where you can choose from four different types of salsas. The people there were friendly and there was a generous amount of meat in the nachos. I’d come back here if I want a quick meal that’s not too far from the beach.“
