“Great spot! My mom is celiac and it’s rare (like never happens!) that she can find a gf donut. This spot is dedicated gluten free and she was soooo stoked to visit Hello Yr Welcome twice during her recent visit to LA. We got 3 donuts her first time in and 1/2 dozen the second (bc she loved them so much). They were all very flavorful and delicious!

Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Oh and the coffee is great. I got some delicious espresso / good flavor and not bitter - they know how to pull a shot ☕

Also worth noting that all the breakfast sandos and other items look delicious as well! But we were just focused on my moms rare opportunity to enjoy a donut

Worth getting here early as they do tend to sell out of some flavors by afternoon. We found there’s plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, even on the weekends.

“What an absolute gem of a find! I visited for the first time today—and to my absolute delight, just five minutes from my home, I found a real maritozzo con panna that transported me straight back to Rome! You have no idea how happy this made me.
If I could, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! If I may humbly offer one tiny, respectful suggestion from a passionate Roman heart: try making the cream (la panna) completely unsweetened. In Rome, we keep the whipped cream unsweetened because the light dusting of powdered sugar on top and the soft, sweet brioche bun already provide the perfect amount of sweetness.
At first glance, unsweetened cream might feel like it's missing something, but I promise you, it creates such a delicious balance that people will end up ordering two! Back home, I can easily polish off two in one sitting, whereas here I was full after one just from the extra sugar rush. (And you will save money on the sugar saved !)

“We ordered our wedding cake from Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen. Using the cake testing kit was a great experience—it came with a lovely personalized note, and was a great activity to do together while planning our wedding (and provided us multiple evenings’ worth of dessert!) The staff at the store were always friendly to interact with, as well.

Ordering was very easy and straightforward, with prompt and efficient communication. We ended up using one of the example designs on the website, and it came out looking wonderful. The cake had layers of chocolate and red velvet cake with mocha buttercream icing and hazelnuts added between the layers—we highly recommend this combination!

We tasked a family member with fetching us breakfast on the day, and coincidentally they happened to visit Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen for that as well—so thank you also for some delicious breakfast baked goods!“

“Their donuts and cookies are always amazing, so my girlfriend ordered me a surprise birthday cake (delivered by Uber). Cake Girl worked with her to come up with this amazing cake! It's my favorite cake I've ever had. I loved the good weighty chocolate with light tasting lemon frosting on top and a chocolate icing between the two layers of cake! Their breakfast sandwich is an addiction along with their s’mores brownie. “ok this is an unexpected gem… we walked in due to interest, but not really with an appetite for it. ended up trying their spicy crabmeat and a plain crepe… amazing… i was actually blown away by the flavor. usually i have to ask for a sauce, but this came with enough spicy mayo and the seasonings to make it taste perfect. the plain has an amazing flavor by its self, just delicious! we will absolutely be back, the menu is extensive and i’m intrigued by the sweet ones!“

“This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!“

Individual bread pieces are fresh and generously large. Be prepared to buy and freeze some of it to eat. One last hint, right after turning at the handwritten sign, drive on thru all the way to the back. It is the last commercial building at the end. Don’t stop until you see the Melrose deliveries trunks 😉“

“Not a huge cake fan, but my wife loves Susie Cakes, so I ordered the Summer Strawberry Whip Cake for her birthday, and I am now a cake fan. So light and delicious. Perfection. It's a seasonal limited time only. Better jump on it. Also, really nice staff at the Pasadena Lake Avenue store.“

“Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.“

“I just got the 5-day cleanse. First time I ordered and of course they packaged it wrong according to the person that I've been emailing with. One of the soups seal was broken and it leaked out. Very disappointed with the customer service because she says that they can't send me a replacement soup just to $12 refund for the one that was damaged. I don't know how I'm supposed to do the 5-day cleanse next week as planned as I am now short a soup 😔 First and last order if they can't make this right. UPDATE: I guess they did the best that they could to make it right. “My wife and I had a great time visiting Tobara booth when they were set up at the Northridge Farmers market. She wanted to get some dessert for her mom so we looked at what they had. They have different cheesecake, Mexican desserts and so many more.

The prices are reasonable so my wife got the Mexican cheesecake and Estilo Casero for her mom. It is as a man and his son working the booth, they were really nice to use.“

“Honestly, I just DoorDash this because it looked healthy and well balanced. And I’m so glad that I did! I got the protein packed bowl which had tofu, shredded chicken, and shredded beef and it was just pure deliciousness. I’m not really fond of tofu much, but there was so much flavor packed into each tofu bite. It was hard to not love and crave.

I also got the Wagyu bowl and that was equally as delicious!! Every bite is an addictive burst of flavor.“

The owner was very friendly but they changed it to a Tacos, Tortas, etc.But the Asada fries were delicious 😋 my son love them🤭. I was on the first day of the opening 😊💜.
