“I have visited two times now. The egg sando is delicious, slightly sweet, and is very large and filling. The vegetarian katsu is okay. I think that they need a denser sauce to go with it, since the watery sauce soaked the bread and made it kind of soggy. Also the katsu itself had a very oily taste (like the oil it was fried in wasn't cleaned recently?)

It's a very small hole in the wall place that you can't see from the parking lot. You're better off parking and then wandering around towards the back to find it.

It is also pretty pricey for a sandwich. I believe I paid $12 or so dollars per sandwich. But, I did see that they offer happy hour, so I'll have to plan for that next time!

That being said, the egg salad was so good that I came back a second time. It's not quite like the famous ones in Japan, but the bread is fluffy and delicious and you can tell that it was made with care.

Parking: It's very hidden. Park in front of subway or the Indian restaurant and walk towards the back.“

“We met Jim on the day we found out about him generously donating the proceeds of a fundraiser for Brandon, the late owner of “The Friendly”. They had run out of the “fundraiser special” so I tried the Super Beef. Piled high with rare, tender roast beef on a toasted Sweet Onion bun, I was blown away. It’s so huge that I really should have only eaten half but I couldn’t - stop - eating! The taste of this delicious sandwich, along with the friendly demeanor of Jim and his assistant Asher, will have us coming back over and over!“

There is always 2 new soups daily and all of them are absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and fully customizable. The prices are easily justified when you consider just how big the portions are. The staff in general will always make you feel welcome. They are attentive to their customers and have a unique way of making a bad day a lot better. Highly recommend just for the atmosphere here.“

Wish I had taken a photo of the nice tray they quickly put together but we were so hungry and quickly ate all the sandwiches. Everyone loved the fun names of the sandwiches too. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. ? Several customers were already inside, enjoying their regular bánh mì.

The shop features 3-4 small tables with stools, creating a cozy seating area. The space was clean and the menus were straightforward, making it easy to place our order. ✨

The service was incredibly friendly. Although the lady suggested her favorite, the fresh fruit tea, it was unfortunately sold out. ?? We chose the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She generously added free fried shrimp to our order! ?❤️

The Thai tea was good, but the highlight was the milk tea. Unlike the typical black tea base, this one had a fragrant jasmine flavor that was absolutely delightful! ?

The bánh mì que is a new variation of the sandwich, being shorter and slimmer. It was packed with a delicious amount of char siu meat and fresh veggies. ???

Given the quality of these items, I’d definitely return to try their regular bánh mì when I’m in the area and craving a delicious Vietnamese sandwich. ?“

“FYI…description for Philly cheesesteak reflects turkey sandwich on website site so I mistakenly ordered Philly but wanted the turkey. I normally wouldn’t order the Philly but it was yummy. Definitely recommend and look forward to trying the turkey next time.“

“Co-worker and I go out for lunch every other week. He remembered this place from when he worked down the street from it. So we went here as he remembered it to be good.

Good amount of parking. We walked in and the place itself is dated. The place could use an update. But most people I saw were there for a quick lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The food was priced well. There has been some price increases since some of the other pictures that others have posted with prices. But over all still a good bang for your buck, compared to what you get at other places near by.

For the food I got the gyro with fries. It was packed with meat and the fries were hot and crispy. I forgot what my friend had, I believe a sandwich but he also had fries. We enjoyed our food very much and will be going back soon.“
