“10000000/10 caesar chicken wrap. My wife and I shared it and it was enough for the both of us. Prices are steep but worth it. The house made chips are amazingggggg. The people working there are nice as well. I’ll definitely be back. I’ll be dreaming about it until I come back tbh.“

“Excellent food with a great, family-friendly setting. Had the paneer starter with the Kashmiri chai and finished with chilli cheese naan and daal. Loved the Kashmiri chai so much I ordered it again instead of dessert. Loved the whole experience!“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“This restaurant food is much more better than other Pakistani Indian restaurants all around the US. Chicken biryani & seekh kabob was so delicious authentic Pakistani flavor specially the Tea which is so so so good like Pakistani famous Pathan’s tea and we never had an experience before this in US. The best thing is they make in front of us so the quality of the food is so fresh and yummy like your own kitchen.“

“This tiny little jewel of an establishment has extremely delicious and freshly made meals that you can eat in or take away. The hummus is unbelievable, the dolmas melt in your mouth, and the falafel perfectly crisp on the outside and light on the inside. There are lots of interesting Mediterranean treats for sale, almost like a gift shop but the fresh meals and desserts are a must -try. The owner is super relaxed and nice, the place is immaculately clean, and nice chill music plays overhead. I have a friend who regularly visits from Los Angeles and insists we go there and says “if I lived here I would eat here every night”.“

“You go to this kind of places for the love of food.... and it does delivers. Its a very sketchy street, not to be alone in the dark. But the food is incredible (had goat curry with garlic naan). Bathroom? dont ask. Higine? Dont know... but flavor... superb“

“I got the chef's creation chicken shawarma and it was very tasty, but I felt it needed a little acid or freshness. I had some of the mint cilantro chutney with it and it helped. The hummus was great and pitas chips were crunchy but needed salt. The real standout food item was the complimentary lentil soup. It was full of flavor and had a nice consistency. For lunchtime on a Saturday, it was not busy so we were served quickly and there was plenty of seating. I thought my food was expensive, but my husband had a create-your-own shawarma and felt his had good value since you can get as many toppings as you'd like. Would go again and try a create-your-own.“

“Sashi Singh my pal from down in Stillwater Canyon was in the city and invited me to dinner in this Afghani Restaurant he found. Well, I haven't had camel hump in years, so I said sure! We met up at De Afghanan Kabob House and had a great dinner. I have no idea what we ate because Sashi ordered for us, all I know is it wasn't organ meat, and it tasted pretty good. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

I don't get why more people don't go here it's amazing this place deserves the worldddd. I've eaten here before and it hits every single time I love this place“
“We've been several times and I always get the whole branzino. Last night, it was saltier than it's been in the past. Still delicious, but I tasted the salt more than the fresh fish. But everything else was perfection. My husband loved his steak, our fries were amazing, the caesar salad they make table side is fun to watch and tastes so good. The special dessert was good, not great. The ambiance here is sexy and classy. The service is top notch. We will keep coming back here.“

“The food and service were really good. They served a bug portion of pita bread with the yummiest tahini dip and a tomato dip along with brined olives and picked radish. We then ordered the chicken shawarma plate and fetta with meat. Both of them were very flavourful and tasty. Serving size was pretty big. They also had a great pistachio kunafa brownie!“

“10/5 Stars – Pronto Pizzeria is a Hidden Gem in San Francisco!
Today for lunch, my coworker and I stopped by Pronto Pizzeria, and from the moment we walked in, I could tell we were in for something special. The first thing that stood out was how incredibly clean and well-organized the place was—everything looked fresh, spotless, and inviting. The menu was clear and easy to navigate, and let me just say… the prices are absolutely unbeatable, especially for San Francisco!
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, and let me tell you—this wasn’t just a sandwich... it was an experience. The guy in my photos (I wish I got his name!) was genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever encountered behind a counter. He walked me through the menu with such care and enthusiasm, you could tell he truly cared about the food and the customer experience. Just great energy all around.
When my sandwich was ready, he handed me the first half, packed the rest up neatly, and asked to see my reaction on the first bite. I took that bite and—no joke—I stood up, spun in a circle, and did a little happy dance. That’s how good it was.
Served on perfectly toasted sourdough, this Philly Cheesesteak was melty, spicy, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. The cheese pull? Arm-length. The meat was juicy, the spice level was just right (though fair warning: that last bite had some serious heat—so make sure you’re into spicy food if you order it spicy like I did!). Every single ingredient was perfectly portioned, and the balance of flavors was masterfully done. As someone who considers themselves a bit of a sandwich connoisseur, this was easily top 3 best sandwiches I’ve had in my life.
As if that wasn't enough, the same gentleman offered me a complimentary item when I returned—just out of kindness and genuine hospitality. You don’t see that kind of thoughtful customer service every day. It wasn’t just good food—it was a vibe. Clean, kind, flavorful, and professional. What more can you ask for?
They also had a selection of homemade desserts that looked absolutely delicious, but unfortunately I was too full to indulge. Next time, I’ll be saving room!
To sum it up: If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5, I would. I’m officially a regular from this day forward. If you ever come across Pronto Pizzeria, do yourself a favor—go in, treat yourself, and thank me later. You won’t regret it.
Shoutout to the amazing staff for showing genuine respect and hospitality. It’s people like this who remind me how important it is to support each other and lift up our communities. Treat people right, and the world gives it back.“

“Cheap, simple and filling. Way cheaper than oasis grill. A lamb/beef shawarma is standard and the meat tastes good, priced about 12 bucks. (oasis is around 21 bucks) Good serving size too. The lamb/beef is halal thankfully, heads up the chicken is not halal. Overall I like this since it's convenient, quick, saving. Staff is extremely friendly. Go to in the neighborhood. Will be visiting more often.“

“Perfect spot for a quick lunch. I first tried the food from Sajj in San Mateo. It was a "regular" lunch place for many at my office. Now that I occasionally work in SF, I was please to find a Sajj just a block away. Love that the food is fresh and bonus that it is full of flavor. I take advantage of ordering ahead and picking up on my schedule.“

“Stumbled upon this place while I was staying in San Francisco for a work conference.
Amazing and authentic falasteeni food🇵🇸. I have spent a lot of time in both Dearborn & Chicago, home to some of the best Arabic restaurants in the country. That being said, this place beats them all.
My server was friendly and hospitable even with the time being so close to closing, and the indoor/outdoor seating area reminds me of the mashawi restaurants in Cairo or Amman.
The meat was delicious & juicy, and all of the moutabalat (mezza) tasted just like back home. I can’t recommend this place enough, I wish all the success to the owner & staff!“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken, beef, gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy, tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“I went for lunch and got the combo 1 with seasoned fries. The portions were large, and the fried chicken was very crispy and juicy. Might be on par with the fried chicken at Jollibee and McDonald's in Asia. The fries were mediocre though. Only complaint is that it took relatively long to get the food“

“I had late lunch here the other day. The food was good, reasonable prices, and the owner was both friendly and helpful during my visit. Interestingly, based on a previous review, it seems their mood can vary—perhaps it's just the nature of working in the retail restaurant business. One thing to note is that the restaurant feels more like a takeout spot, as all food is served in takeout boxes, even for dine-in customers.“
