“Our daughter is obsessed with soup dumplings which we found at Fusion Dumpling. The traditional pork were great, but try the black truffle and wagyu soup dumplings. You won't be disappointed!“

“I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant so much in terms of food and service alike. I believe there’s two servers who work exceptionally hard. One is a lady with red highlights and tattoos, and the other is an Asian man with a black shirt and a fauxhawk. They were super receptive with us ordering and staying several hours because I had hung out with some friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. They kept topping this waters and asking if we needed anything else. The food was exceptionally good, especially if you’ve been here and got the short rib before, but the presentation is also equally as beautiful. There was no wait and the prices of the food were decent for the quality. I will be coming back as a loyal customer because I live within the area And I want to try the rest of the soup bases.“

“Very clean and stylish interior. Excellent and fresh choices, very tasty. The best hot pot I’ve been to in San Francisco!“
“This was a treat - yes, the food is good - I had jambalaya and my husband had fried chicken. Wednesday shared a side of very good biscuits. But the real treat is the entertainment which on Wednesday night started at 6:30 - Al Kane, I think his name is - guitarist, singer (think Nat King Cole) and absolutely wonderful entertainer! We will be back!“

“We were a party of six, and all six of us found the food to be excellent. We ordered a 6-dish special meal that included a steamed fish fillet. I don't think it was a fresh fish, but it was large and plenty good. We were able to pick garlic noodles, which is one of my favorites, as one of our 6 dishes.“

“This is a nice addition to Clemente Street for spicy hot pot of various varieties. Malatang the numbing Chinese flavor was our draw in to the store, but they have many other versions of soups such as laksa and tom yum. The beef broth was a little weak, but the numbing flavor was quite strong. You pick all of your ingredients and we enjoyed all except we found we didn't like the yam noodles. The staff was really nice and helpful and the interior was modern yet with a little bit of classic Chinese art. Really looking forward to trying this place again and trying the other flavors and ingredients. We are omnivores but we would like to come back and try it with totally vegan soup and ingredients option.“

“Food was great but I can’t get over being seated at a table for four when we had a party of six! Table was very crowded with hot pots appetizer dishes! Finally Emily was nice enough to move us to a decent table but then we had to wait for all our food to be transferred to our new table. A big inconvenience for our surprise birthday guest. Besides that the spicy miso and regular miso broth were very delicious and fun to cook for my first experience at hot pot. Atmosphere was great and was very packed but does get quite hot inside after a while. They did have an all you can eat which is great for large groups.“

“Highly Recommend if You’re in San Francisco
We’re visiting from Montreal, and this was our first time in San Francisco. My boyfriend and I first had sukiyaki and shabu shabu in Osaka back in 2023, so we were excited to share that experience with our French friends — and Nabe did not disappoint us.
We ordered the sukiyaki and miso shabu shabu, both served with generous portions of rich broth, fresh vegetables, and premium meats. We also added extra pork and duck, which was plenty for the four of us. At the end of the meal, they even offer rice porridge, which was such a cozy and satisfying finish.
Our server was super friendly and welcomed us with such a warm attitude. Even though the restaurant was packed and only had two servers, service was smooth and attentive. All our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was timed perfectly.
If you’re in SF and looking for delicious Japanese hot pot, Nabe is a must-try!“

“Came here with a group of 9 and we got seated at two different tables. Each table had one giant pot to split.
Good:
- You can choose 2 soups that you want - I loved the tomato soup base since it was nice and savory but not too salty
- I liked how much variety there was in the AYCE options - the Ferris wheel of course is the most famous thing here
- The appetizers were pretty great - there were glass noodles and tons of sauces
- The mango coconut dessert was delicious!
- Nice and private back area for groups
Bad:
- Overall more expensive, about $45pp after taxes
Overall a really fun group activity!“

“Amazing Tai Shan restaurant!!! Recommendations:
1. Taishan beef bone soup (we also were told coconut chicken soup is their specialty) - this wasn’t salty, perfectly herbed, so yummmmmmyv
2. yellow eel clay pot rice - fresh water eels!
3. pork noodle roll - house made!
4. purple potatoes sesame balls - rare find usually it’s red bean
They said all dim sum is made in site and they use free range chicken - don’t get preserved pork cake
There as only 1 waitresss who was also the host and cashier. She was amazing and kind - management should hire at least 1 more person
And of course this place has less stars cuz it doesn’t cater to westerners but their is the obligatory kung pao plate but just ignore that. All the surrounding restaurants have tourists whereas this one is filled with Taishan people.“

“Vegetarian options: Though the menu is mainly directed towards omnivores, vegetarians do have a selection of offerings. There is no clear vegetarian option when it comes to the main component of the dish, the broth.
Parking: The nearby Smart and Final has a paid parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: The central tables have separate chairs which can be moved, and the table itself is at an adequate level for most standard wheelchairs, provided the arm rests can move. Baring that, there should be little problem adapting.“
