“I usually don’t write reviews, especially when I’m not sure about a restaurant’s consistency, but this place absolutely deserves it. The sushi here is phenomenal—I’ve had sushi in my home country, in San Francisco, and even at high-end Omakase restaurants, but the rolls here, especially the Warriors Roll, are honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve ordered sushi from this place, and I’ve even recommended it to my roommate.
The service is just as amazing as the food. The staff are attentive and genuinely kind—when I mentioned I didn’t want ice water, they immediately brought me a warm glass of water, which really made me feel cared for.
This is hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Super, super delicious! Strongly recommend, especially the Warriors Roll!“

“Likely the best value in the FiDi for a quick breakfast. I got the Huevos Rancheros ($8.95) add Bacon (+$3). I ordered it through Toast and picked it up. My coffee was made fresh when I got there so it would still be HOT!

The Huevos were delicious! Two eggs, both red and green salsa (one on each), black beans, and a bit of cheese. It was the perfect amount and was delicious. A hint of spice from the salsas, the eggs were well seasoned and the tortillas still crispy.

I'll be swinging by here more often than my usual bagel place in the future!“

“I really enjoyed the falafel bowl, ingredients were very fresh, flavor and texture were great, portion was substantial - I had it as a big late lunch but it probably would be sufficient as most of a dinner. I ate in at lunch and it was not busy at all. It was also more affordable than I remember mixt being a few years ago which was a nice surprise. Great spot for a big fresh salad made to order!“

“Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. Honestly these folks should turn into a full fledged restaurant.“

They sell a lot of standard fare like sandwiches and salads, albeit with a gourmet slant. Was visiting my company's SF office, which was housed in the same building and got a light breakfast here. I can imagine this being a default spot if I was working there and needed to grab something quick to eat.“

Yea, they are unique in that they make traditional italian american pizza, like pepperoni, combo, etc.

“With 3 hours to kill, we set off for the food court recommended by a pilot we asked and looked at our options. We decided to "be healthy" after a 10-day cruise and were rewarded with amazing food! The Good Catch Vegan Manhattan Seafood Chowder and Tortilla soup were both amazing and the Cabo salad was hearty enough for us to share and not feel deprived in any way. Of course, we then justified a couple of chocolate chip cookies for dessert-LOL. I now hope we have a reason to get back there again.“

“One of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in a long time I ate today at Blue Barn in Cole Valley. What’s that sandwich? The Barn BLT. Chèvre meets bacon meets creamy pesto meets holy yum. It’s big too, filling. Will be coming back for another soon. I also really enjoy the ambiance; spacious with ample seating, rustic charm in a clean setting.“

“Incredible sandwiches. Fantastic portions/prices. The nicest people.

I get a make your own turkey sandwich on sourdough and it's probably my favorite sandwich. The sourdough is so good - chewy and flavorful and a great crisp on our outside. Roasted turkey is perfect, not too salty, all fix-ins are fresh. It's everything I want a sandwich to be!

On top of this, the sandwich is huge. I eat a lot so it's great portion for me but if you don't eat as much, you'll get two gourmet sandwiches out of $15 which is pretty amazing.

Lastly, the people are just so nice. They are patient and kind and thoughtful. They make you feel right at home.

If I lived closer this would be a regular weekly if not many times a week spot for me!!“
