“Tried the Cold Cut Combination banh mi, a solid pick. The cold cuts are fresh and flavorful, and the pickled veggies add a nice crunch. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft inside perfect.

Wouldn’t recommend the fish banh mi, though, it didn't quite hit the mark. If you get a banh mi to go, pop it in the air fryer for a minute to bring back that crispy crunch.

“Hands down the best Banh Mi Dac Biet I’ve ever had. Been eating here for 15+ years since a child. I’ve seen this place really grow and become super popular. The longest I’ve ever had to wait was 20 mins for a sandwich — which was this past Sunday. I love the food, but I wouldn’t wait 20 mins lol so avoid Sundays unless you don’t mind a wait!

There is a side window door they built in for you to hear your number and grab your sandwich.“

“This place is so good. I never thought I would eat at Firehouse Subs. Went shopping at Safeway and was really hungry. I decided to try it out, and I can't believe all this time I have been missing out!!! These subs are so delicious. My favorite is the Spicy Cajun Chicken sub and the Jamaican Jerk Turkey. The chili beans, the Mac n cheese, and the chicken noodle and loaded potato are sooooo good. The seating area isn't too big, but each time I have been there, not many people come to dine in. So that's a plus. If you are looking for a good sub place with a nice quiet place to sit, then this Firehouse Sub is the place you need to try. The people are nice too and there's parking as well. And a customer only bathroom, which is always clean.

Parking: There are about 10 parking spots near the Firehouse Subs. But it's in the parking lot of other stores so there is plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs, and if you get the kids' menu option, you are able to get a plastic fireman's hat.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp to get up. There's plenty of space to move around a wheelchair inside the shop.“

“Great lunch spot. The food was delicious. That bread is so good. It would be great with soup. (I wish they served Clam Chowder bowls). There wasn’t too much of a wait. The staff was friendly and efficient. I needed to contact the store for something and used the online chat, they responded quickly and also offered wonderful service. The only con in the price. They are a little high, that just means I can’t visit as often as I’d like. 🤷🏻‍♀️

“The folks here were super nice to me! I love Erik's sandwiches and always get the soup and sandwich combo. This particular time, I had some problems with my new ATM card, and it took 4 tries of back and forth with my bank to get it to work so that I could pay for my sandwich! The staff at Erik's were all very patient with me and kept my soup hot and my sandwich fresh while I got things sorted out. They never treated me like a second class customer and were always very kind and understanding. The food was, of course, fantastic!“

“I don't like the new site design with placing the order upfront and then waiting to pickup the sandwiches. it feels like a burger place then the old Togos. the new design is slower and I've had more problems, like getting the wrong sandwich in my bag since multiple people are working on a single order. if this continues to be an issue I'll find a different location to visit.“

“At first I gave this location 2 stars because I was highly disappointed in the AC not working but I was more concerned for the people who work here. Guess what they fixed it right away! They care! So now I have to give them a 5 star review for maintaining their quality during the hard times. The staff that works here are very supportive and agile with the situation. Today the shop on Brokaw went above and beyond, the Doordash driver didn't pick up the order so I went and got it myself. Becasue the sandwiches had sat so long, they made two fresh sandwiches for me, and gave me the old ones as well as the fresh ones when I arrived. Thank you, Jersey Mikes!“
