Starbucks in San Jose

“I just have to say that I had the most wonderful service at Starbucks this morning. I have been coming in consistently to get my iced vanilla latte and breakfast sandwiches this past week and between yesterday and today, I had to replace my debit card due to suspicious activity. I was issued a temporary card which doesn’t include the chip and upon ordering my usual order, my card was not being accepted. I didn’t realize that it didn’t have a chip until it was too late, and we tried other options to accept it, but it wouldn’t work.

My barista was Blair, and he had consistently seen me coming in over the course of the past week as well. He was so sweet and kind, and as I’m scrambling to figure out what else I can do, he actually covered my coffee and sandwiches. I was absolutely shocked and replied to him, “Seriously? Omg, are you sure?” it was so unexpected and it was incredibly gracious of him to do that for someone.

I really enjoy coming to this particular Starbucks because it is all inclusive and filled with diverse people who really do care and pay attention to their customers. I always see regulars coming in with big smiles and the social interactions are always positive. I know this isn’t relative for every location , and there are Starbucks on every corner in the city, but this is certainly one that takes the cake for me and will always appreciate the team who works there.“

“Nothing out if the ordinary, it's a typical Starbucks. It's pretty spacious, has outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and the line wasn't long.Th parking directly in front of the store is a little tight.“

“I used to work at Starbucks and loved it. I loved connecting with customers and remembering regulars’ names. Unfortunately, my Starbucks journey came to an end, but the memories remain in my heart. “I've been enjoying coming here for my usual cold brew and double smoke bacon sandwich. So far it's been on point with how I like it. Really good and friendly staff here but Andrew is at the top of the list for me. Very friendly, welcoming, efficient and makes my Cold Brew the best out of any other Starbucks.“

“I don’t drink coffee but i love their refreshers. My favorite is the strawberry Açaí they have pomegranate and they have mango and others, but I don’t really like any other one, but the strawberry. I love that they’re quick. I love that they always have a smile on their face. They’re very very nice. They talk to you right and if they get the order wrong or you gave the order wrong they’re more than happy to fix it most places do not want to fix nothingso if you’re ever near a Starbucks, they’re everywhere you won’t be disappointed. They’re really good.“

“I frequent many Starbucks in the San Jose area, but this location is the best . Staff are friendly & greeting the customers is very inviting. Manager is very aware when it gets crowded & helps engage the customers while providing good service. Starbucks Inc should give the employees a bonus for making customers feel welcome z“

“Its a Starbucks, you're not going to be getting gourmet coffee and pastries here but it does the job. The customer service is good but the selection of food is often limited compared to other Starbucks locations and the inside is slightly run down and not the most clean. Still a decent work and study spot though.

Update: I went again today and there was a homeless individual sleeping in the middle of the patio which is not too surprising knowing this area but its still a big issue“

“I had Angie take my order and I love getting her. She is the nicest ever and very sweet! She knows what she is doing. She always has a smile and such a amazing person to have and see when I need my coffee fix as she is the only one who seems to always be smile and never get annoyed at someone who may take a minute or two to order. I hope they do not lose her as she is the only reason I still go to this location as I've had nothing but disrespectful attitudes and more happen. So if you see this Angie you are amazing and thank you for being a amazing human and your customer service is the best!“

“I was having a horrible day so I decided to make a stop to get a coffee, while I was waiting I saw a girl named Kiran handing over costumer's orders with a big smile and so kind, she was sweet and joyful, and that instantly make me feel better.“

I made a mobile order and it was ready within 7 mins of my arrival. Very nice and friendly staff. The tables are clean and this is a generally quiet location.

It’s also located right next to a planet fitness, McDonalds, and a bunch of other restaurants. Good location“

“New drinks to try all the time! Staff super friendly and FAST! PLENTY of seating inside and outside. Handicap friendly. There is little limited parking in front but plenty on the side.

Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple handicap with wheelchair space right in front. Well maintained ramps and smooth surfaces for easy access. Heavy glass double doors so wheelchair might have a slight issue but not that bad.“

“This Starbucks has great employees. They're always more than happy to greet you and take your order. I especially love going to this one in particular because line's are short which means quick service.

Parking: Lots of parking spaces, free public parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Drinks customizable to your kids liking.“

“Semi regular stop on the way home from riding Calero or Santa Theresa. A trenta refresher hits the spot after a hot ride.Stopped in this afternoon after a ride about ten minutes before closing. Staff were clearly getting ready to close up but were happy to serve us anyway and even dealt with my son’s customizations. Thanks team, those drinks were really needed.“

“The barista was excellent. Even though she had about three orders going at once she stayed focused and was polite and efficient at her job. This is the Starbucks located on king and story road inside the target store. I didn't catch her name though. She's a tall blond. Working at 9:00 am on Tuesday.“

“It's a nice place to have coffee, chitchat with friends in the open, work from there while having coffee/snacks. I enjoyed sitting there in a pollution free environment till the order was ready.

“Recently moved into the neighborhood and I’m trying to figure out my go to Starbucks and this one seems to be the winner.

I try to leave my place around 5:00am and this Starbucks is open bright and early!!! Seems like they are open earlier than most Starbucks in San Jose. That’s great!!!

I’ve never used mobile pick up through drive thru until this week and decided to try it since it’s more convenient than getting out of the car. It has been great!!! The employees who I’ve encountered here bright and early have been wonderful too!!! Thank you!!!

“This store is grab and go only. They don't have any seating or a drive through. There isn't even outside seating. They do have merchandise inside and they make all the drinks. Parking is okay. We ate in the park in the parking lot because there's nowhere to eat inside. They do have a bathroom.

Parking: Limited parking close out front.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room inside, but there is nowhere to sit.“

“This location is by far the best, and I want to take a moment to recognize how amazing Catelyn was. I called this store since it’s closest to my job after realizing the drink I ordered earlier at another Starbucks didn’t taste right. Without hesitation, Catelyn told me to stop by and she would remake it for me. Her kindness and willingness to help really stood out. As someone who visits Starbucks often, this is the kind of customer service that keeps me coming back. Because of her, I’ll definitely be visiting this location more often. Catelyn is a great example of what true customer service should be, and I’m so thankful for how she handled everything.“

“Clean, fast, and nice. Orders don't take long and the workers are polite. Not many people there, no sitting since Covid-19 which makes sense. If you're aiming to pick up a drink quick I suggest going there while shopping at Target.“

“It's a typical Starbucks. This one is a bit smaller so not easy to camp out and work or study out of. There is also no drive through, so you have to order via mobile or order in store and pickup in store.

Parking: Lots of spots, pickup spots available, handicap available“

“Excellent for Starbucks experience. Good inside and outside seating. Decent Wi-Fi access. Service was up to Starbucks standards with friendliness. The only real problem that I noticed about the place was the bathrooms. When going into the bathrooms there are two bathrooms. The one on the right had two problems inside this bathroom. First, the sensor that turns the water on did not work well and I had trouble getting it to stay on for any length of time or even to come back on. So I can can the soap dispensers in both bathrooms need to be replaced. It had portable dispensers sitting on the sinks. But what really needs to happen is some maintenance to replace the dispensers that are built into the equipment. Overall this is an excellent place to go visit and get a coffee, hot or cold plus some small bites.“

“This is a Starbucks location located inside a Target department store, just like many other such Target locations have a Starbucks inside them. As far as the Starbucks offerings go, it's standard faire Starbucks and you know what to expect and they generally deliver it. So you like Starbucks and you happen to be inside this Target location, then no reason not to go.“

“Excellent Starbucks location, Brand New and Clean! Coffee was fresh & made very quickly. The relaxing coffee smell hits you the second you walk inside. The only drawback is that most of the chairs are quite uncomfortable and there are only two sets of nice chairs that are almost always taken, maybe this is a corporate change Starbucks has made so it's no fault of the location, but it could be improved.

Parking: Parking is good but sometimes the drive thru line backs up quite a bit through the winding parking lot“

Parking: Always plenty of parking, just don't come here after 8 AM. As it is very busy and there's a lot of seniors that hang out here and read the paper. Believe it or not, they still do very impressed by. They're friendliness and always willing to engage. Anybody that's willing to have a conversation. You might learn something from these seniors

“nice Starbucks with good parking very nearby. Service was good. Coffee met expectations. The place was clean but there wasn't a whole lot of seating. Had weather been better, I'm pretty sure they would have had outside seating. We had no issues here. Found the 25 cent cup charge to be an interesting twist. Haven't seen that before.“

“So, they stop serving Blonde roast at 11AM. It doesn't make much sense. Us blonde roast lovers can only get a fresh brew between certain hours? Not very nice Starbucks. ?But there are few coffee beristas that will do a pour-over for you, if you ask nicely. Sure, it takes 10-20 minutes to get a cup of straight blonde roast. But at least you can get the blonde coffee you enjoy. Thank you to the few that will take on the extra work. Maybe the management can allow blonde roast to be served all day, just like you have that yucky pikes place roast available while you're open.

“I just left happy!! I went in and the girls working both had smiles and were so sweet and helpful! I got my vanilla sweet cream cold brew and bacon Gouda sandwich super fast and they tasted delicious. The girls definitely made my day, can’t wait to come back to this location!“

“To whom it may concern: I am a coffee freak mildly put and I was at thus store this afternoon and got the best made Carmel maciatto I've ever had in my 15 + years drinking starbucks. ALEXA was my server, she was kind, and knows hiw to make a good maciatto. I appreciate this kind of service 10 all the way around. Please give her a paid off day. “I believe most of the bad reviews on this Starbucks are simply from a lack of understanding these people have about customer service and the things that go on in the background, while true some things may lack or have there moments where it leaves a bad taste in there mouth at the end of the day people just need to grow up and get over it, it’s Starbucks it’s not that deep, and all the employees here bring such a warm and inviting atmosphere to the store and I’m happy to see that shared across this store, so please don’t worry about these nasty people, they just haven’t had there cup of coffee yet, and keep doing the good work“
