“This sushi spot is down the street from my house and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Granted I usually come in for lunch and order a bento box. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki, veggie tempura and California rolls. Their Chile. Matsu was good but I prefer the teriyaki. Their miso soup is tasty.

Restaurant is typical sushi restaurant size. They may accommodate larger parties with notice. The art on the wall is movies, action figures, and things of that nature

I haven't tried too much outside of that so I will have to order more when I go next time. I want to order specialty rolls. Will update the review after the fact.“

“First time after a referral and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was clean and modern. The staff were so nice and came by multiple times to check on us. I had the Happy Together roll and a Saba hand roll which were so full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back!“

“The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. It’s so good. It’s a quaint almost hole in the wall type place but it’s clean and the people are friendly and attentive. It’s a definite must if you like sushi. Prices are reasonable and a tiny bit high on some dishes but it’s worth it. I will be going back again and I’m sure lots of times 😋“

“Fantastic Restaurant, great service, delicious food, and very reasonably priced for Japanese food.
They are also gluten free friendly and I have eaten there twice without any issues as a Celiac. They do have gluten free tamari sauce and ensured my order was safe every time I’ve been there. I will be back.“

“Best Sushi in all of South Bay. Been coming here for 10 years and the sushi is consistently fantastic. Staff members are very friendly and we always get great service. Used to live close by few years ago but now we drive 15miles from home to come here. Nothing else compares within probably 30 mile radius if not all of Bay area.“

“Kenji sushi has a large amount of items to choose from. The sushi was delicious and the restaurant was popping with people and good vibes. The rolls we ordered were delicious. This is a nice spot to come and enjoy some fresh rolls and drinks with your family or friends. Just be careful when parking or leaving. Since it’s a small parking lot. Its definitely a tight squeeze. Make sure to order yourself a mocktail and some appetizers while you’re waiting for your rolls, sashimi or your main dish. I suggest order some takoyaki. All in all its a decent place thats not overpriced.“

“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.“

“In town for work, decided to stop at a “neighborhood joint” sushi place for some comfort food. Got the Bamboo Sushi Combo, Nabeyaki Udon and a 22oz Kirin Ichiban.

Hit the spot! This place should be more crowded IMO. Nigiri was so, so good. Love the fresh wasabi (that was new to me), salad dressing (!), soup and seafood. Wish this was close to my house!“

“They serve food with very consistent and good quality! Truya has been me and my fiancé’s go to dinner on a busy work day. I LOVE their grilled squid…… it’s lightly seasoned and grilled to perfect with amazing char aroma. My fiancé always gets their sushi rolls. My entree is normally the bento box combo. The presentation of the Togo food is also very good! Server was always attentive and provides excellent service. I’m glad that we have such an amazing Japanese restaurant nearby!“
