“I love Mediterranean food, and sorely missed the Armenian Gourmet in Sunnyvale when Aram retired. However, Tio's has fulfilled my expectations for delicious food at a great price. I never liked falafal until I ate it at Tio's where it is moist and flavorful, compared to other restaurants where it is as dry as cardboard. I love the lamb and vegetarian sampler. The staff is friendly, helpful and remembers us by name. I have always been very happy with my whole experience there.“

“This is a great Japanese restaurant. We had a great time. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. You can sit at wooden tables with chairs or sit on a mat at authentic Japanese style tables. I highly recommend this restaurant for fun casual dining or for a romantic date night.“

We were served by Emma, she was so nice to us. We acknowledged her that it was our first time there. Coffee was hot and did not have a burned taste, just perfect. I ordered bacon and eggs with a very picky request. Hash browns were delicious. My Mom ordered French toast and a side of bacon. She shared with me a slice of French toast and omg. It was fluffy, soft and not dry. Very nice vanilla flavor. The syrup was warmed and so now we’re hooked to this place. We had to put our names on the wait list as the sitting is limited because it’s a small place but it’s name says it all, the fifth wheel, a rare jewel near downtown San Leandro. Ordered half veggie half new york:
-good hold/no flop
-neutral crust with no bubble, not crispy
-perfect amount of toppings, not soggy
-fresh ingredients
-sauce is a bit bland/plain

Also ordered the plain and pistachio cannolis, crust was fresh and ricotta was smooth. I’d personally introduce some tanginess/acidity like lemon juice/mascarpone/cream cheese.

Overall a reliable pick if you’re nearby, just need more seasoning/flavoring.“

I wish I had a cozy home cooking restaurant like this where I live. You will not be disappointed. I’ve passed by this Mexican restaurant countless times since it’s just a few minutes from my home, but I had never taken the chance to stop in—until today. My mom and I decided to finally give it a try, and we were so glad we did.

“i'm just a girl but this cake is so pretty to not post!! i've been ordering birthday cakes from this place for a few years now for my family, and asked to place an order for a mixed fruit n cream cake! initially, i ordered writing on it as it was a thank you cake, but i ended up finding out last minute that i couldn't give the cake to the recipient. but, that was completely okay, because my bday was coming up so this ended up being my bday cake. i can't complain because it came out absolutely gorgeous :') i've never received macarons or sprinkles on my cakes from ladyfingers, but this nice touch was so lovely. i also love the peekaboo piping on the cake, its so cute. “I am tourist here and this was the nearest sushi place near my Airbnb.
Food as good, the girl who served me was not warm at all. The moment I walked in she looked confused if she should serve me or not maybe because I was alone.
I loved the food. Green tea ice cream not so much. I wanted a bottle of water to take back to my Airbnb but they didn’t have any which is fine. I asked the girl where can I find a bottle of water near by “she said I don’t know” I paid my tab and walked out and saw hundreds of stores who sell bottle of water . Being a tourist I would have appreciated a little courtesy of just saying “ hey you can get water down the street” I wasn’t asking for much. But anyways I am glad I tipped her only $3.“

It was a little confusing how to order. I just grabbed a set bowl they had. I'm not picky about food and I enjoyed every bite.

I do wish the space was cleaner. As a business owner I didn't always have the cleanest spaces and I recognize that in hindsight and this is kind of the thing that even if you didn't want to dine in, sticks out like a sore thumb

That's why often I take photos of my reciept and the bathroom of spaces for my reviews.
