There’s parking available for pick-up orders, which makes grabbing a drink quick and easy.“

“I had a great experience at Happy Lemon! While waiting for my order, I noticed a young male staff member thoughtfully washing his hands after handling money from a customer. It was such a simple gesture, but it really stood out to me and made the whole visit feel even more pleasant and hygienic. It gave me even more confidence in how they handle everything. And of course, my mango matcha smoothie was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and earthy. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Gong Cha is always a staple of mine whenever I am looking for boba and they happened to have a convenient location near shopping and some good restaurants.

Note: Gong Cha locations use a non-dairy creamer but beware, these almost always still contain whey which is a dairy derivative. It's a common misnomer so always ask for non-dairy milk if you are vegan like myself or adverse to dairy products/have an allergy.

In order to get a non-dairy drink, I was told to order from the Fresh Milk Menu. I did so with my Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Oat Milk and it was satisfying overall. It is indeed quite sweet even with 50% sugar so I'd advise to go even less if you aren't wanting a completely sweet drink.

“Sunright is one of the better Boba spots in the Bay Area and it's definitely a must visit.

The quality seems to be consistent with their different locations.

I've had the opportunity to try most things on the menu but my favorite is the grape frosty, which unfortunately seems to be a seasonal item.

The menu is extensive enough to where there should be something for everyone as there are your more traditional choices, as well as, some fusion (East meets West), creative new drinks.

Sunright uses high quality ingredients, many of which are locally sourced in California. And yes, you can absolutely tell the difference! This is also because they don't cut corners and costs during the prep.

The staff is always on top of things and even when there are long lines, they always work diligently and quickly while maintaining the high quality standard.

The location itself is small, narrow, and it's pretty much a grab and go at the moment but the decor matches the theme.

If you haven't heard of Sunright, definitely give it a go and you'll be pleasantly surprised.“

“This place is incredible! Not only is the boba amazing they offer three different non-dairy options, including lactose free, which is my favorite because it doesn’t change the flavor of the milk tea! Most boba places do not offer this option.

This is my fourth time coming, and my partner is hooked on it and she never liked Boba before! (She hated it) They are that good.

I usually get the Thai tea or the honeydew with honey Boba and the cheese milk foam - don’t knock it till you try it💯

If you’re unfamiliar with Boba, this is the place to go. The guy who is usually at the cash register (with the cute blonde highlights) is really great, super kind, patient, knowledgeable and doesn’t treat you like you are supposed to know how to order Boba cause that’s BS (And honestly, typical of most Boba places). The menu is extensive and there are many different options and it might feel like a labyrinth, but take your time and ask questions because they answer them all. You can also order from the kiosk and they have pictures doesn’t get easier than that.

This is a fantastic place for first timer‘s who are new to Boba as well as people who been drinking it long before it got hype (like me).

The food is bomb. I usually get the meatball sandwich with egg and the char sui banh mi. I can get two drinks and two sandwiches for under 40 bucks. They’re not trying to rob you here - they just serve great food.

Also, the restrooms are clean, and my dog can chill in there while I down a sandwich.

So go see them, but don’t blow up the spot because they’re already busy enough.“

“Most delicious boba milk tea, fruit teas, and coffee I have ever tasted. If you are ever in the area, The Mix is a must for all your coffee, milk tea and fruit tea cravings! “I had no idea they have a MandRo Teahouse in Alameda but I'm glad it does. I normally go to the ones in Fremont and Milpitas so I know that people come here for Bingsoo (Korean shaved ice). Although it's using Korean name but I'm fairly certain the owner is actually Chinese. The shaved ice here is extremely fine and as a result super smooth and delicious. I prefer this over the coarse Hawaiian shaved ice.

My favorite is the matcha or original flavor but a lot of people seem to order the mango one.

This location seems to be much less crowded than the other places and has more seating as well. However parking can be a pain because of limited street parking and its location. You order through the kiosk and just wait for the number to be called.“

Just like most boba shops, they have plentiful options: snacks, boba, and shaved ice. They also have ramen, which is quite unusual for a boba spot to have. They also have a super size and I saw what it looks like when people have it. Looks really tall though and I’m thinking of getting it in the future.

“I live in Tracy and was craving bubble tea, my friend said that this is her favorite place to go to and she had a membership so we decided to go after church. There was somewhat of a line but it moved very quickly, a lot of people had the same ideas as us to come in for a drink. There was maybe four people in front of us but it only took about 2 minutes for us to get to the front, these workers move extremely fast and diligently. We ordered three drinks and my friend was able to get a reward which allowed her to get one free drink which was awesome. “This has always been one of those "classic" milk tea places in the Bay area before everything else started to show up with their own variations of milk tea and how "authentic" they are or were... Not to mention the many options for food from quick snacks to full meals! I got the caramel milk tea and it still tastes pretty nice to this day! Although i remembered when they used to cost $3.50 unlike $5.50 now... Which by the way is ordered through an iPad that contains all of the different drinks and food that you can order from! Pickup is very simple as there is a number that will be given to you. Other than that, there's mostly stand-up tables or high chairs to relax with. There are also gatcha machines that strangely just take dollar coins with each of them costing $3-7 to play... I remember when I had to just pay $1.25...“

“This is my favorite boba spot in oakland. I usually get the grass jelly milk tea with boba and oatmilk and it is suuper refreshing! Just the right amount of sweetness. Their boba AND grass jelly is my favorite out of many places in the Bay Area, being chewy & soft. I’m not really sure how to describe the consistency lol but the flavor of both is great!
