“This is my SQUAD!!!! They've raised the bar for all the Starbucks I've been to (across the country) I'm in and out within 4-5 minutes, no matter if there's 4-5 cars in front of me... The consistency in the taste of their drinks is UNMATCHED!!! I hope I get to keep them there forever 🥹 as selfish as that sounds, they are so very appreciated and I hope they know this. This has been the best team yet! I've been here Every. Single. Day ... for years! Unless I'm out of town and when I am, I miss them dearly!!! Lol it's real over here y'all 👏👏👏🩷🥹🩵🫶💙“

“Starbucks – San Marcos: Exceptional Service & Springtime Vibes

Stopped by this Starbucks in San Marcos and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally friendly staff! I asked for a sticker from the spring special drink promotion, and not only did they give me one, but they generously handed me a whole board of six stickers—such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture!

Service & Atmosphere

Fast drink preparation, no long wait times.

Despite being in a busy plaza, it’s not too crowded on weekday afternoons, making it a nice spot to grab a drink and relax.

This location goes above and beyond in customer service, making the visit extra enjoyable. Definitely worth a stop!“

“I really like this location. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. Quick service. Great location! I did see one thing that concerned me. A dog was allowed up on the counter where customers get their food and drinks. A barista fed the dog whipped cream while his slobber dropped on the counter and down the front of the counter. I did not see her wash her hands or disinfect the counter. The owner of the dog took a napkin and whipped the slobber lightly with a paper towel. After the dog left, a lady came up with a business suit on and got the whipped cream and slobber all over the front of her clothes. I hope this practice can be avoided in the future.“

“Perfect location for the San Elijo crowd, and there really is a crowd at 2:35 every weekday when the middle school gets out. The staff is unfailingly nice and cheery no matter how slammed they get, and somehow they never run out of the additives like oatmilk, chocolate cold foam, etc, which other Starbucks have done.“

“I like the quick and friendly service at this location. There's a nice seating area inside and out. I usually stop here 10pm at night tho. So not sure about the morning crews. But at night past 9pm till close it's Hella chill. Drive through busy but it keeps moving. I recommend this location after 9pm“

“The interior was very calm and relaxing, though I will say the tables against the wall were a little tall compared to the height of the chair but better that than too short aye? The baristas very very nice and accommodating when I didn't have a smaller bill. Towards closing they offered a Strawberry Creme cake pop because they were gonna have to throw it away anyway and I was low-key thinking about trying it one day. But low-key the wifi was a little slow, not like snail slow but like walking in water slow.“

“I believe the overall picture of this place is a quite one well operation. The manager is on there to explain and show the other workers what their jobs are to do. It looks like a very well machine that is working just fine. They are attentive to getting the orders out mobile orders and orders that come in with a fast and effective procedure that is probably less than 20 seconds it seems like because it is so fast and efficient on getting that order out and if they happen to forget a straw or anything else it is quickly handled and the customer seems happy as they leave the place. As I explain to another participant that all Starbucks are not equal some do a lot better some are average and some are below par. This one is above average. Due to their location they do not have a drive-thru which to me I kind of like because the fact is I don't have to worry about being hit by a car. But they're fast mobile app production is a site to see people know what they're doing and the manager does a great job of facilitating their expertise on this matter. Always constantly looking to upgrade and make their store look better. Keeping it clean is one thing that I did notice a lot stations were wiped down , floors were swept and this is only because we got there as soon as they they open. Very stocked their shells and everything else with trying to keep a minimum of product not to disturb the customers inside the store it was done fast and efficiently and as you can see in the pictures the shelves look straight and neat. If there were some things that I did not like but that is my personal preference due in conversation. But other than that they're a fine above average Starbucks.“

“Please be patient while getting your drinks! Most of the time it’s just a person or two working, so if you have lots of orders go to an actual Starbucks store and if you don’t, maybe try to tip! I have gone to this location numerous times throughout the years, and I’ve had a good experience except for when there’s delays but that’s when there’s lots of people. They’re usually friendly so that’s a plus!“
