“Red car is a nice little coffee shop that conveniently located at the Huntington library (right by the entrance). They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Except drinks and pastries, I'm glad that they also sell Fosselman's ice cream, sandwiches, yoghurt parfait, fruits and snacks in the store. They opens early at 8am, and drinks and food are allowed to bring into the Huntington library.“

“It was my first time coming to Chapresso. I was really impressed that they used tea leafs to make the tea. The tea tasted great! They also had good service. The simple design of the place is inviting but the space is limited. However, they do have open sitting outside the shop.“

“Stealing a phrase from their menu here, but Belle’s bagels is the epitome of “Newish & Jewish” deli classics. Their bagels on their own (judged by eating them without any CC or toppings) are wonderful and I much prefer them over the bagels from Courage, Layla, and Jyan Isaac. They have all the usual suspects (poppy, plain, onion, everything, sesame, salt) and what I’ll call a zeitgeist spin on a typical Asiago bagel: the cacio e pepe. I ordered an assortment of bagels to-go but also had an egg & cheese on the cacio e pepe at the bar counter. It was unbelievably good and such a unique flavor - the crushed peppercorns were the perfect touch. The bagel was perfectly chewy and soft, which paired so well with the velvety eggs and oozing melted cheese. Sitting at the counter felt like I was being served little slice of Jewish deli nostalgia. I also tried one of the black and white cookies to-go and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t found a black and white cookie I liked in LA for years until now. If you ever miss New York or the hustle and bustle of a deli with charm and character, make your way to Belle’s.“

“First off, the menu was an embarrassment of riches. Even for my vegetarian wife who often struggles to find a lot of options, there were so many options we talked about coming again later today.
I got the rib eye chilaquiles. When it came I was a little disappointed because it was a steak and eggs with some chilaquiles on the side (I thought they'd be some crazy mixed up thing). After I started eating it, however, I decided they could of brought it in a bucket and made me eat it off the floor and I wouldn't have wanted to complain. The steak was cooked incredibly. So much flavor. And the incredibly non-descript eggs were somehow just tastier than normal eggs. I really don't know how they did it.
This is absolutely going to be our new main breakfast spot.“

“This place is super cute, has little available seating, and is expensive. However, the coffee is totally worth it. I've been to this coffee shop around four times, lol! The baristas are nice, quick, and knowledgeable. One of the baristas taught me about raw milk, which I had never had before. The coffee I’ve tried is the Cafe FC Sig, which is my favorite; I would rate it a 10/10. I’ve also had the Oaxacan Mocha, I wouldn’t say I liked it as much, a 6/10 sounds accurate. The pastries are incredible, I like that they have different varieties each time I go. I’ve gotten the chocolate croissant for my husband; he loves it. The banana chocolate loaf is to die for! One of the best coffee shops I have been to!“

“Came here with a group of 5 and tasted the tofu donuts and the matcha soft serve!
Good:
- Tofu donut was super unique, I couldn't tell that it was tofu
- The soft serve was amazing- so creamy and not too sweet, and the serving size was large enough for 2 people to share or maybe even 3!
Bad:
- Long lines! Super popular place so you'll wait about 10 min for your order outside and there's limited seating
Overall this was a fun hole in the wall gem to find!“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“What a lovely little coffee shop! I had the sweetened cloud matcha, and it was perfect. The sweetness level was just right. The place itself is small, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs right outside. It's located in a green space gap between buildings. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area!“

“Our morning ritual used to involve bludgeoning ourselves into a semblance of consciousness with the heavy-hand of a generic dark roast. It was an effective if inelegant solution to parenthood. Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. This is a small business whose goal of promoting independent farmers is admirable and worthy of our support. Thank you!“

“Initially I was skeptical of Onething coffee because it just recently opened, but I am so glad that I took the risk. I was really pleased by the recommendation the baterista gave me. The male baterista recommended that I get a Korean Black Raspberry Ade. It's sour-sweet almost tasting like traditional Korean tea. This is going to be my new daily shop to stop by before work.“

“Great coffee. The lattes and flat whites are perfection each time, perfectly textured. The line gets long outside but the wait is worth it. The interior is whatever, it’s a grab and go kind of place, although they do have an outdoor seating area but it’s not very atmospheric imo.“

“Let me just say I recently discovered this secret little gem. I enjoyed the mushroom coffee drink. I felt great after I drank it. I also ordered another café late and it was good too. It's at a gas station in north Pasadena in the back. The owner is a delight and excited to talk about his coffee. He is a coffee afficionado for sure. I will be back.“

“Great new find in Highland Park for Brunch and Lunch with Oaxacan / Guatemalan flavors. The food is great, simple but beautifully presented. They make their own artisanal breads. Cafe de Olla is spot on. Chilauqiles Rancheros with Asada is superb. Quality ingredients. Superb service. Really nice staff. Ambiance is beautiful. Used to be Occidental College which evolved into a Car Dealership then Garage. Lots of history. Beautiful addition to the HP neighborhood. Loving this place!“

“This review is years overdue. Been coming here for years. Hands down my favorite coffee in LA. They roast their own beans on site and the coffee is divine. One of the first places I ever found to offer every type of dairy, lactose free and nondairy options. Parking is rough but always worth it.

“I stopped by this corner cafe on a whim and ordered an almond milk latte – it was smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a surprise squirrel encounter – I’ll definitely be back.“

“I never make reviews, but I love this place so much that I want to make sure it gets the traffic it deserves. The pastries are amazing (and I have tried many places - I am French in LA struggling to find it). Lattes are on par. A must go when in Montrose.
Pastries and drinks are on the expensive side, compared to a chain like Peets and so on, but matches the quality, and I have seen more expensive for less quality.“

“Guys I literally thought some of the photos must be fake... they're not. I got exquisite latte art (good coffee too!), beautiful plates of delicious food. I have no idea why this place only has 88 reviews, but the 4.8 stars is accurate! On top of that, it's a very cute location. Please try out Old Town Caffe!
We got the Salmon Bagel, Sweet Latte, Ube Frozen drink, and Egg Avocado Toast and they all exceeded expectations :)“

“What I had
Breakfast burrito with steak ($15.5+$3)
Horchata latte with oat milk $6
What he had
Turkey bacon egg bagel $11.5
Vietnamese iced coffee $6.5
ORDER WHAT I HAD! The steak breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious. Great seasoning, great portions, evenly distributed so every bite had a little bit of everything. The steak were little strips, but it made it tender and easy to consume. The iced horchata latte was sweet and cinnamony with a great espresso taste, no watered down taste!
What he had didn't impress me as much, but it doesn't mean it wasn't good. It was fresh, and the eggs were fluffy and made perfect, but I'm not a big fan of turkey bacon on a sandwich and the bagel wasn't my style of bagel (I like them chewy). His Vietnamese latte was not sweet at all which typically is mixed with condensed milk so idk if a step was mistaken. We actually ended up mixing our coffees together.
I'm sure if we had told the gentleman he would've just made a new one or added sweetness, because he was so kind and inviting, but we were too focused on our food to really care.
Atmosphere is what took a star down. Cute and clean place but it was a bit stuffy. Would've just ate outside where the air felt nicer, but the one table was in the sun so it wasn't ideal.“

“This is the best place for Korean yummies. I go as often as I can. The staff are awesome and friendly. They sell flowers and even have a little gift shop too. It's one of my favorite places to eat.
I get the tteokbokki often. The mini gimbab is also super good. The fried combo is also really good and good for two to share. The deserts are also delicious. My daughter likes the korean corn dogs with cheese and the tteokbokki too. All the drinks we've tried have also been very good. I plan on eating everything from there at least once.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The flowers I have bought here have outlived all the flowers I've bought at Vons and Walmart.
I love this place!“

“Need a perfect spot to chill x coffee? Cielo is the place. It's a new and spacious coffee shop in the heart of San Marino. Its Latin inspired menu and perfectly brewed coffee drinks makes it a good addition to the neighborhood. Similarly, they offer wine and beer for customers. And a free wifi.
The UNIT B's former two vendors were also coffee business shops - sadly they didn't last that long. Hopefully with Cielo would last longer. I came early Sunday morning to try their breakfast: chicken pesto sandwich and cafe de olla. Food was good and coffee was perfectly brewed. Prices seem fair. Staff was professional. Service was on point. Street parking and a rear parking lot are available.
Overall, it a chill coffee shop.“
